《Reincarnated into the Otome Game as the Princess Villainess?!》Twenty-three: The return of the snake

It took some time to get used to. Being a fairy and all was kind of strange, especially learning to fly. But it didn't seem as shocking as I had originally thought and I adapted to it rather easily. Though I'm still confused on how this happened.
On that note, the Queen has not yet contacted me like the fairy once said.
Huh.
It had at first been strange to constantly switch between forms but now it was normal. For school, I would go in my human body while when I trained, it would be my real (?) form as a fairy.
When Big Brother and Etti had first found out about this, they were shocked. Big Brother had even fainted from shock while Etti had just sat in his low chair—but his height made it look like he was on Big Brother's throne—seemingly dazed.
I haven't even told Father or Lucian about it yet.
I knew there were a few problems in Argonda concerning that snake and that Lucian was about to take his exams. It wasn't the time to distract them. If I did, it would come with great repercussions.
Repercussions that they couldn't deal with.
Actually, Father had sent me a letter. He had written the norm before adding haphazardly onto the end that the witch and himself were coming to visit Lucian and I. Obviously I was overjoyed about Father's presence but no so much about the snake's.
She was mad.
At me.
And as my step-mother, the world deemed it okay to discipline me. I knew Father could not say anything, she had the Council as her back up. Even the people were more cautious of her presence because of this, not truly rebelling against her yet.
It certainly wasn't hidden that the only Queen of their hearts was my mother Ambrosine—a goddess in their hearts as I've been told. She was kind and virtuous, putting the people's needs before her own.

And to them and my family—that snake could never compare. She put herself above everyone, spending as much of the kingdom's money as she could. The commoners were like dirt in her eyes, unworthy of her attention and love. She was greedy and unkind as well as cruel to those who did not obey.
Her reputation had become even worse when I had been locked away from the public. The people did not believe her excuses of my 'fragile body' and caused many riots to arise. But she never wavered, instead deciding to continue her atrocious actions.
And now, she was coming to my Academy. With Scorpio and Aries here and with their power, she was undoubtedly going to try and take them. But I knew that they wouldn't let her—especially Scorpio.
There was also Quel's little squirrel—Aerah. He was rather attached to me and often would stay away from his contracted person to come stay with me. And with that adorable blood red squirrel came the twins—mostly Quel.
Over time, we had become close friends. He avoided any inappropriate actions with me after my transformation but still held his tongue was still poisonous to many and he was still arrogant beyond compare.
The heroine certainly wasn't happy when her harem members stopped talking to her.
At first, I tried to avoid them but we became friends so I thought 'Hey, why would a friend kill another friend?' and accepted him. The twins then ditched Crystal. She had lost quite a few I had noticed, Arthur, Caspian and now the twins.
The other members were just silent and ignored her. It was similar in the game, she only became the real centre of their attention after her display of power in the annual competition where she destroyed her opponents. And then to show good will, healed them.

I really despise that sort of person. Doing things only for their personal gain, it was disgusting.
She reminded me of the snake, they both would get along very very well with their matching personalities.
Back to the topic at hand, Father and she were meant to visiting during one of the parent days the Academy held a couple times per year. Previously, he had been much too busy to come and attend and that snake was sure to never come.
She knew Lucian and I both despised her from the bottom of our hearts. Even though he had never known Mother—he trusted Father and I's kind words about her and considered her his real adoptive mother.
He also agreed that the snake could never compare to Mother.
Actually, she couldn't even compare to Satan himself when it comes to kindness. She was worse than a devil, I bet even the devil would feel some remorse towards the people. Actually, she was probably Satan. But then again, she had never been an angel so it wasn't possible.
The day had arrived and it wasn't just my Father and his evil wife coming, Big Brother and Etti had also joined. Unfortunately, the Empress had somehow managed to tag along.
When people saw them, they were shocked. Even many nobles wouldn't dare of even seeing the Empress' face let alone the Emperor's! Big Brother was known to stay away from public appearances, instead leaving them to others while he made all the decisions.
And the Empire had flourished under his careful hands.
Etti was also widely known. Somehow—and god knows how—people recognised him. Might be the tall height and imposing aura.
And the Empress—well she just made it obvious. She had certainly not tried to hide her status, deciding to wear extravagant clothes that seemed appropriate to meet the gods in. They also seemed to be made to accentuate her lovely natural features.
Overall, she looked a degree lower than a fairy.
Her outfit was traditional and I assumed she was wearing it to show her loyalty to the country's religion and their past.
I, on the other hand, was wearing a much simpler outfit, chosen by Aries and Scorpio. I really couldn't understand where their fashion style came from. It was better than an average person's one too.
They had chosen a Snow White styled outfit—not even Arty knows why.
We were all sitting and having tea—the Empress obviously under an umbrella to shield her 'delicate' skin—when I heard the venomous voice of my most hated woman.
"We're here darling."

Andur's Oneshot collection
This is just a Oneshot Collection with story ideas. I'll add stories when I get the inspiration. Eventually, I'll turn them into full stories. ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. Dream Dungeon
Welcome to the dream dungeon. Ely suddenly finds himself in a mysterious dungeon accessed only through sleeping. Many people are drawn into this dream world, confused and mystified. Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
