"Zoey.This is going to be hard ,but I was accepted into Indiana University!" Mike said and my heart fell to pieces!

"We live in Canada.Mike how's this gonna work?" I said holding back the tears pinching my eyes.

"Skype and facetime." Mike replied.

"You'll be gone for the first four years of this kids life! She won't know if she even has a father!" I yelled out tears flowed down my face.

"It's a girl?" Mike asked.

"Yes.She won't get to actually know you until you come back."

"Ok.I'll do online College if that will help you feel better." I grimaced.

"If this is the scholarship you were talking about then I'm not going to stop you Mike." Mike's smile grew.

"Really?" Mike said his eyes glittering in the sunset of this cold January.

"Yes.You've made me happy for six months which has been REALLY hard.Four years can't be that bad." I rubbed my arm.

Four years without Mike's warming touch.This is going to be hard to handle ,but he's worth it.

Yeah right!You couldn't handle your dad going to jail even after being abused!!!

I grunted and Mike's gaze into the sunset turned in my direction.

"Zoe I know this will be hard for both of us, but we will survive. They said I had to go next semester soo. You got seven weeks left with me." I let out a relieved breath and hugged him.

"Mike."

"Yes." He replied.

"I love you!" I squeezed him tightly and he let out a small wheeze ,but smiled.

" I love you too." He took down my pigtails and my hair fell to my shoulders.

I ruffled his hair up.

"You should wear your hair like this more often." I giggled a little and kissed his cheek.

"You should wear your hair down more often too." He said fixing his hair.

"Really Mike?" He blushed.

"What!I like having my hair not disheveled." He said and I smiled.
