Zoey POV

Riding in the car with Mike was awkward.I should have worn neon colors and covered more skin!Neon will put a better impression on people and less skin makes me look slutty.Am I trying too hard?

"Zoey there is no need to be scared my mom is going to love you!" Mike put his hand my shoulder and I relaxed a little.

"Thanks Mike you are good at brightening any situation." I smiled and the car stopped in front of a pale grey house.

"We're here." Mike said as he put the car into park and got out.I inched out of the car and walked into the house with Mike by my side.

"Hello you must be Zoey!" Mike's mom said as she shook my hand."I'm Lauren but you can call me Missy."

"Why is your nickname Missy?Not to be rude just wondering." I asked nervously.

"Well I'm not home alot and Mikey and my co-worker always miss me when I have to leave." Lauren smiles.

" Hey Mom do you mind if we bring the T.V. to my room?"

"No.Go ahead.Don't let Svetlana pull a hamstring going up the stairs."

"Ok Mom thank you." Mike said as we walked to the living room,picked up the T.V. and hauled it upstairs to his room.
