"So why haven't I ever met your dad?" Zoey asked leaning on my arm as we walked.

"I-I don't know...Umm."My last memories of my dad hit me hard in the face as a flood of them came to mind.

"Dad what are we doing?"I asked my feet dangling from the car seat.

"You'll see in a minute." He said with a stern voice.

"Ok.Can we play a game?" I bounced and giggled.

"We will in a minute."The car came to an abrupt stop. "We're here."

My dad picked me up and the dark scared me.

I nestled my face into his chest and said."I'm scared."

"Son.It will be over in a while."

A loud crash and light filled the room and vicious german shepards with police officers rushed into the room and mommy scooped me up.

"You're safe now baby.That will never happen again.That pedophile,your father,is going away for a long time."Mom looked at me and I held her pinkie the nice police officer let me pet the puppy before we left.

Mike POV

I plucked a flower and put it in Zoey's hair.

"It brings out your eyes." I held her hands and she looked at me and blushed.

I reached in my pocket,pulled out my Ipod,and pressed play.

Whispers in the Dark started blaring and Zoey shrieked as she jumped back.

"Zoey Brooks I love you.Nobody can ever compare to you." I pulled her close and kissed her passionatly.

"Mike.You missed the the exit." Zoey laughed as I opened my eyes to realize I just made out with her cheek.

"Umm.I just wasted my first kiss on your cheek.Do you need a napkin?" I blushed.I'M SOOOO EMBARASSED!

"Lets make this work."Zoey said she got my spit off her face and put it in her mouth.I nearly puked watching that.

"SICK!"I yelled.

"Equivalent to you making out with me."Zoey said.

"You make a point." I said.At least I still kissed her...In a way."Lets go back to the camp site."
