"Shock arrows? How many?" She asked in disbelief.
"At least twenty, do you have that many? If not, Sidon told me where to find some. But it's very dangerous to go alone." He explained.
"I have.." She mumbled checking her bag. "I have eleven. It's dangerous because a Lynel sits atop that mountain. You can sneak around him, or fight him. He's very strong, Link."
"I believe we could take him." He replied. "That is, if you'll help me."
"I don't know if we can..." She chewed her lip. He stared at her a minute, admiring her. Then, he snapped out of it.
"We won't be victorious if you doubt us in the first place." He replied wisely.
"Fair enough, let's do it." She nodded, standing up from her place on the fountain. She gave one last look to Mipha, then continued on their way.
"You can shoot him with ice arrows to stun him, and I'll get close to use my sword on him." He explained on their way up the hill.
"We're coming up on him, let's get ready." She stopped him, pulling her bow out and stocking her ice arrows. He wondered what kind of bow she had. It was something out of a book, as it was incredible and ancient looking. He pulled out his sword, and from there they snuck around until it as the right time to strike. He was turned away from their spot, and in one quick motion, Link jumped out, taking a great hit on him seeing as he was unaware. Emery climbed onto one of the rocks, and shot him with the arrow dead in center as he turned around. From there, Link kept hitting him, and they continued doing that, until...
She shot straight at him, but he powered through the hit and went at Link, knocking him back. It sent his sword flying, and left him in a moment of panic. It was evident that the Lynel's health was extremely low. She knew what she had to do. In that moment, as he approached Link quickly and swiftly, she pulled out her arrow and sent him into a stun state. Then, she pulled out her royal broadsword she'd found on her endeavors and jumped, giving a final, greatly devastating hit. The Lynel let out many large cries of pain as he inevitably met his fate. Link stood up, amazed at her. He quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her back, as the Lynel collapsed. From there, he fell and the Malice was gone. They stood there a minute, amazed at what had went down in the last few minutes.

"Are you okay?" She quickly turned around to look at him. She saw an open wound on his arm. He noticed that she'd saw it, and he attempted to hide it away. She had come out with only a scratch on her, and now she felt bad. "Link.."
"It's fine, I've suffered worse." He shrugged simply. "Let's get those shock arrows and get out of here, yeah?"
She and Link gathered the arrows he dropped, and the many around the top of the hill that the Lynel had shot off. Link recovered his sword, then they returned down to meet Prince Sidon at Vah Ruta. "Have you two gotten the shock arrows?" He asked. Emery nodded, showing them to him. "Great, are you ready to do this thing?" Both Emery and Link nodded again. "Alright, here's how it's going to go. I'm going to swim you close enough to swim up the waterfalls pouring from Ruta's sides. From there, you'll use the updraft to shoot those glowing pink spots. After each of them are green, she'll hopefully stop pouring water and we'll get Link to an access point so he can do what he must."
"Sounds like a plan." She nodded. She got her bow ready, and they both climbed onto Prince Sidon's back. Link had let her borrow the Zora armor so she'd have no problem swimming. She did what she needed, while Link defended them from the flying ice. Easily and simply enough, she shot all the spots in a split second of her departure from Sidon's back, and Ruta let out a roar. She collapsed, and the water stopped pouring from her sides. The skies turned beautiful and clear once more, then the river drained back to it's normal state. They looked at Link, who was staring straight at the entrance of Ruta. Sidon quickly swam him over towards, and he climbed on. Link stuck his hand out to Emery. "You want me to come with you?"
"I wouldn't doubt I'll need your help, if you'll be willing?" He asked. She smiled with the corner of her mouth.
"Are you sure I'll be of any assistance?" She asked, and they heard the sounds of Ruta beginning to return to her standing position. Instead of replying. He leaned down and grabbed her hand. He pulled her off of Sidon's back, and used his other hand to pull her up by her waist. They steadied theirselves, and approached the entrance. Link pulled the Sheikah Slate off his side belt and placed it on the pedestal. They continued inside, where they heard the voice of Mipha.

"Link, I always knew one day you'd return... Even if it did take a hundred long years. I'm glad you brought Emery along, also." She and Link shared a glance of confusion. It was obvious how she knew Link, but how did she know Emery? "Link, you'll need a map of Ruta to successfully take her back from Calamity Ganon."
They walked along, looking around. It was covered it goop, red and black. The goop wasn't harmful, unless you touched it. There were an eyeball that it all formed from. Emery narrowed her eyes at it, then aimed her bow. She shot at it and it unlocked the door to the stone that held the essence of the map. Link placed his Slate on it, and extracted the map. He discovered he could control Ruta, moving her trunk up and down to help solve the puzzles of the place. Before they knew it, they had recovered all the terminals. "Link! You got all the terminals! Now, you must take the Sheikah Slate to the main control unit. I've marked the location on your map. You're almost done; but do not let your guards down."
She and Link shared an iffy look once again, but nonetheless found the main control unit. It was covered in Malice, but they were able to access it. Link gave her one nod to make sure she was ready for anything that decided to strike. She returned it, and he placed his Slate to it. It did nothing, and Malice started forming from it. They stepped back quickly, out of the way, and watched what became of it. Waterblight Ganon. Link and Emery both courageously began to fight instantly. She began shooting many arrows in the dead center of it's head, stunning it. Link swung and swung at the monster until eventually, it was dead. It was a hard battle, but they successfully completed it. Link finally activated the main control unit onto his Sheikah Slate, and there appeared Mipha's spirit. Both of them were shocked.
"Link," She began. "Thank you for saving me, even after all these years. Never once did I have a doubt about you. I want you to have something. Now that I am no longer alive, it is no use to me. With the power invested in me, I give you Mipha's Grace."
Link took on the power, and was automatically healed by Mipha, his cuts and bruises disappearing.
"Emery,"
She looked up at the girl, confused on how she knew who she was. Emery wasn't alive until after her tragic death...
"Thank you for helping Link along in his tasks. Without you, he may not have been victorious in his battles. That makes you just as much courageous as a Champion."
Emery gave her a thankful bow of her head, and the two were teleported out of Vah Ruta and back to the bridge. They watched as she made her way to her rightful place, in front of Calamity Ganon. All the sudden, the world shook a bit as Ruta shot out a powerful, red beam. It was obvious Ganon was weakened a bit from that point. "I agree with what Mipha said, you know?"
Emery looked over at Link as he spoke. "What do you mean?"
"About how she said you're just as courageous as a Champion? You're fulfilling a role that isn't yours, and it's amazing of you. You weren't meant to do any of this, but instead you're sacrificing your life to anyways. That's what makes a Champion. Not some hero chosen by the God's or a chief, or a king, or some golden power." Link was gentle when he spoke and sincere. You could tell when he meant what he was saying.
She smiled brightly at him, a small blush gracing her cheeks. "Thank you."
"No need, it was you who saved me when we were up against the Lynel, and without you I couldn't have stopped Ruta's water, or fought off the creature back there, nor could I have solved those puzzles. I may be good with a sword, but that's not everything when it comes to this." He explained. She nodded.
"It's no problem, I just want to help." She said. He smiled at her, then they returned to the now happy and brighter Domain. They approached the king, who congratulated them and thanked them. He gave them the Champion's signature weapons, but Emery didn't want any part in it. They were the friends of Link, not hers. "So, what do we do now?"
Link looked over at her as they were crossing the bridge to leave the Domain. "There's still three more beasts to tame, but I'm sure a little adventure on our way to Gerudo Town won't hurt us any."
"Sounds good, maybe I'll finally get my own horse." She gave him a small smile. He let out a gentle chuckle, then hopped onto his horse. He stuck out his hand once more, and she took it. He strongly grabbed her by her waist and pulled her on. From there, they set out to Gerudo Town.
