Lisa stood from a distance, looking on tearfully as the bars closed on Achilles. She felt simultaneously terrified and distraught as he sat on the metal bench, his wrists cuffed. He hadn't broken eye contact with her since they had marched him off, in fact he hadn't said anything. What freaked her out the most was his lack of a reaction. He hadn't fought or protested in the slightest in the corridor, he had just went with ease.

Now he was sitting looking at her, and he didn't look betrayed or shocked, in fact he didn't seem to be processing any negative emotion. He looked calm and it unnerved her. Red eyes, unblinking, he continued to stare at her.

Alma stood at her side, her hand on Lisa's shoulder. 'Lisa, come on, you don't need to watch this.'

Lisa shrugged her hand off. 'No, I think I do, for my own good.'

Two of he guards grabbed him by his forearms and hauled him up to his feet. He dwarfed them, he was easily taller than them by a foot. Just as they were about to lead him away, eyes still burning into hers, he smiled wide at her and she heard him speak.

'I'll be seeing you soon Lisa.'

It sounded like a threat.

Lisa stood there for a moment or two, slightly stunned at what she'd just heard. It was like he had changed in those five short minutes in the hallway and now it was ruined forever.

Alma spoke again. 'Lisa, the best move for us now is for us to relocate you to a new city, somewhere he can't find you if he was to escape again.'

Lisa sat silently through the whole process. She sat with Alma while she explained the dos and don'ts of relocating, but it didn't seem to be going in. She was going to have to leave, disappear without a trace. Alma had handed her train tickets and keys to a new house, and they even provided a company car to bring her back to what had been her old flat so she could could pick up some possessions.

It wasn't the apartment that Hire an Incubus had given her, it was her original one, where this whole thing had started. As she paced around the flat, picking up items which she supposed she should take, she couldn't help but let her mind wander to when Achilles had first showed up in her flat and how she had done everything wrong since.

Once she had her bag of things, she only had one more stop until she was going to leave the next day.

'Hi stranger.' Alison said as she opened the door to Lisa. 'How are you doing?'

Alison sat quietly and listened as Lisa told her everything, Debbie, the forest, Hercules.

'It sucks real bad Lisa, I hope you're okay.' Alison rubbed her arm comfortingly, 'I can't believe you have to go.'

'I have to.' Lisa said quietly, 'At least we have tonight. I'm sure you can visit?'

'I'm sure I can.' Alison said quietly, probably knowing full well that it wasn't going to happen.

They spent the night together just watching movies and talking and for a while everything felt normal, like things had been before this mess, and it was nice to escape for a bit. But when morning came, Lisa couldn't avoid reality, and unfortunately for her, things were only getting worse.

'Lisa!' Lisa could hear Alison calling out from the bedroom, 'Where are you?'

'Uuughh.' Lisa groaned from the bathroom, where she was hunched over the toilet, just after throwing up.

'Jesus Lisa, what's wrong? Do you have the flu?'

'I don't think so.' Lisa groaned, 'I doubt it's food poisoning because I didn't eat anything funny.'

'Hmmm that's strange.' Alison said thoughtfully, until her expression changed and her voice wavered a bit. 'Lisa, when was your last period?'

If Lisa's stomach hadn't already plummeted, it hit a plateau in that moment. 'I can't remember.......' Lisa trailed off.

'Oh gosh, Lisa you're not pregnant are you?'

'No. Alison, I'm not, if I was pregnant I would know.'

'Okay, whatever you say, but here,' she began, running back to her room to fetch something, 'a pregnancy test, you know, it can't hurt, just to be sure.'

Lisa took it off her and didn't mention it again.

It wasn't until she was leaving that they both started to well up.

'Lisa, I'm going to miss you, please be safe.' Alison said softly, hugging her friend.

Lisa hugged her back too, and it was one of the hardest things she ever had to do, she was still in a dreamlike state of disbelief at the whole situation.

Lisa was about to get in a cab to the train station when Alison cam running out of the house.

'Lisa wait! This letter! I forgot.' and she handed her an envelope that was just addressed 'Lisa'

'Alison, who left this?'

'I don't know Lisa, it was just in the house when I arrived home the other day.'

Lisa didn't open the letter for a long period of time. She had a feeling who it was from and she didn't know what t was going to say. She sat on the train, staring at the envelope for quite some time, and as she watched the skyline of the city fade into the distance, she opened it.

The contents shocked her.

Fighting back tears from what she had just read, she went to the nearest bathroom on the train. Breathing heavily, she took out the pregnancy test that Alison had give her.

The waiting was excruciating, but what was even more alarming to Lisa was when she saw a little plus sign on the pregnancy test and nearly fainted on the train.

Oh shit.

As she got off the train, she tried to collect her bearings. She was under strict instructions from Hercules to wait for a company car to come pick her up. But after reading the contents of the letter, there was no way she was going anywhere with those people. Instead of waiting in the station like she had been told, she clutched a small piece of paper that had accompanied the letter that had an address printed on it. Coming out on to the road, she approached a taxi and asked them could they take her to that address. As the car began to move, she thought about her options, she was in a new city, pregnant, and all alone. But most shockingly, she thought about the contents of that letter, and how she had not expected what was in it at all.

Lisa,

I know by the time you will have received this letter I will have inevitably ended up where I probably belong and you will be halfway across the country, trying to start a new life away from anything to do with me.

I don't blame you. I am a horrible creature. To quote Hamlet ' more offences at my beck than I haveIn short, I have probably done far too many bad things for you to forgive me and you are probably right. But please know some of the things which I have just done that may have seemed like they were meant to hurt you were actually to keep you safe

You made me doubt myself many times. Remember when we met and you told me I was dangerous. Well you were right. I was dangerous because I couldn't stop myself feeling the way I feel about you now. I was dangerous for you because of how I made you feel. So I guess in a way, we were both dangerous for each other. But I digress. Most importantly, you made me doubt myself when I said that I didn't do relationships. You asked me if you could be the exception to that and I now know the answer is yes. I love you.

Finally, I never told you what happened to the woman that became pregnant because of me. Her name was Alice and you already know she died. She was killed by Hercules, the very people who were trying to protect you when they locked me away. This is the reason why I murdered those people. I didn't mean to escape. They were trying to get me to talk, to reveal information that was irrelevant and to try and to goad me they told me of her death. It hurt so much that I can't even remember lashing out. All I remember was those people were dead and I ran. Don't wonder if I regret it, because I don't and I don't think I ever will for what those people did to me. They killed a woman I loved and my child and I cannot let that happen again. (Just a heads up, I know you're pregnant, even if you don't know yourself, I picked that up before Hire an Incubus took us away from each other. I think that's why Naomi couldn't do anything to you.) Apparently the world wasn't ready for a child between a human and an incubus. Personally, I don't ever think that the world will be, so that is why I'm trusting you to never contact them again and pray that they never find you. Don't trust anyone especially not Hire an Incubus. It was them who told Hercules where the girl was. You cannot trust anyone.

Forget me.

Achilles.

PS. I know that Hercules will have sent you somewhere, DO NOT go there, they are only looking after you so they find out if you're pregnant and if they find out that you are, they WILL kill you, go to this address instead, there's someone there who can look after you.
