The next day Lisa felt terrible, she wasn't new to hangovers but she hadn't had one of this magnitude in a while. She woke up face down on the sofa. She didn't remember being that drunk, in fact, she remembered being quite aware of what was going on.

Rising groggily to her feet, she found David sitting reading the newspaper on one of the armchairs. He met her eyes as she stood up and handed her a letter and said softly; 'This arrived for you this morning.'

'Thanks, David.' she took the letter from him. It was stylized with a script she didn't recognise. On opening the letter, there was nothing except a small business card reading 'Hercules' with a phone number beneath it.

'What the hell?' Lisa said out loud, tossing it immediately to the counter. 'I have no idea what it is.'

'May I?' David said, interested, and as Lisa nodded, he looked at the the card. 'Hercules' He breathed out slowly, something flashing across his face.

'What?' Lisa asked.

'I'm not at liberties to disclose who they are.' he said, his voice growing very formal.

'But they've sent me a letter? They obviously want me to contact them? What are they. some kind of secret society?I have a track record with supernatural creatures now, I'd imagine I won't be too surprised.' Lisa said. her voice almost stern, she was getting sick of not being told things until she found them out herself.

He looked almost at war with himself, which seemed to be the most emotional he'd ever appeared. This was also the single longest interaction Lisa had had with him.

'They are an organisation of sorts...' He began. 'They deal with supernaturals, and I'm afraid that's all I can say. If you want to know more, contact them yourself.' he said, slightly pained.

The conversation ended there. Lisa had other things on her mind anyway, ergo, her little breakdown last night. If it was getting to the stage that she was crying in public about it, she needed to talk to someone. She picked up her phone and called Alison.

'So what was it you wanted to tell me?' Alison said to Lisa, she had just arrived in, and after apologizing about a million times for losing her the night before, she sat down to listen to her.

'I need to talk to someone about this, it's about Achilles.' she took a deep breath before continuing. 'I've actually seen him more than everyone thinks and I've certainly had more contact with him than everyone thinks Ali.'

'Oh wow, that's definitely not what I was expecting to hear. I thought maybe you and Adam had gotten together or something.'

'What?' Lisa laughed. 'No!'

'I'm just saying, Thom is friends with him, he says he mentions you a lot, which seems quite strange for such polygamous creatures, you know?'

'Polygamous? Aren't you and Thom together?' Lisa laughed, trying to avoid the topic.

'Yeah, but we are now committed so it's different Lisa. Anyway what else were you saying?'

'Well, I actually sent him away, I told him to leave and he hasn't come back but I miss him.'

'Christ Lisa, it's a pretty open and shut case then, just ask him to come back.'

'You don't understand, Adam told me he's been killing agents.'

Alison just sighed. 'Okay, wow, well that is a situation. You say he's never hurt you though right?'

'Yes.'

'I think you should talk to him Lisa.'

Lisa decided it probably was time, she decided she was going to try and contact him this evening. Letting, Alison out, she realised that there was no sign of David in the apartment.

Now that was strange.

The phone rang for an endless amount of time before it stopped altogether. Just great, Lisa thought. She wanted to say that Achilles wasn't trying to give her the silent treatment, he didn't seem like the petty type.

Lisa found herself falling asleep, and woke up a couple hours later to voices in her apartment. It sounded like two voices and to her surprise, she heard Debbie and David of all people, chatting about something in the kitchen. She could hear them through the door.

'And you're sure she said these things?'

'Yes Debbie, she's been screwing with us, pretending to be all scared and innocent.'

Lisa gulped. Oh God, what had David heard?

'I had a feeling she was lying, Adam never seemed to think it, but God knows he was infatuated by her.'

'We could get Hercules to take her in.'

'We could, but what's the point? It would just be like the last one but more dragged out.'

'You're not suggesting that we...?'

'Yes, I never really cared for her anyway, we can just say it was Achilles.'

'Like the last time?'

'Like the last time.'

Lisa didn't like the sound of that. It sounded exactly like what she thought it was. That she had been found out and it wasn't going to end pretty.

She was debating making a run for the door but they would definitely catch her in time. She started to shake.

There was a knock on the door. 'Lisa, are you awake?' It was David.

She tried to pull the covers over her head, maybe if they thought she was asleep, they wouldn't do whatever they were hatching right now.

'It doesn't matter whether she's awake or not, might as well get it over with, Damian will understand, doesn't he always? Go watch the door.'

The door burst open and Debbie was standing there, a chaotic grin on her face. 'I really am sorry for this Ms Farrow but this really is for the good of the company.'

She moved inhumanly and grabbed Lisa and proceeded to toss her into the wall. She felt a sharp pain spike through her body and she tried to crawl out of the room.

'What did I do?' Lisa screamed, crawling along the floor.

'I'm not one for monologue so I'll keep this short, essentially, you messed up Lisa, you didn't listen to us when we repeatedly told you to stay away from Achilles and now you're in too deep than I care to fix.'

Lisa didn't understand. 'But he's gone now.' She just had to keep her talking.

'But he's not really gone is he? He'd come back and who knows how long it'd be before he landed us all in another mess again?'

'What do you mean again?'

'That's for us to know and for you to never find out I suppose.'

She crawled out of the room as she saw Debbie pull something out of her waistband.

A knife.

'Just relax, I'll make it quick.'

Without even thinking, adrenaline kicked in and Lisa was up and made a dash for her room. She clicked the lock. All she needed for a few minutes.

'Oh for hell's sake.' she heard Debbie say behind the door. 'You do know I'll be back in like one minute with a key you idiot.'

Lisa stared at her phone, she could only think of one person she trusted to call in this moment.

He answered this time.

'Hello?' there was noises in the background that sounded like a struggle.

'Achilles I need you.'

There was a sickening snap noise. 'You picked a bad time sweetie.'

'Achilles please, they're trying to kill me, I need you...I'

The door opened. 'Oh shit! David, take the phone!' Debbie said, her face enraged. She lunged at Lisa. Her phone clattered to the floor.

Lisa rolled away from her. Debbie looked back again and called for David. He still didn't answer and Debbie looked out the door.

All Lisa heard was a demonic sounding cursing before Debbie went crashing into the marble counter.

She crawled out of the room to see David, lying either unconscious or dead on the floor and Debbie dazedly lying on the floor. In the middle of all this, staring at her, was Achilles.

'Honey, I'm home.'
