《FADING SCARS (Avenger/Pjo crossover)COMPLETED》The scariest wolf glare that humanity could ever encounter

Silence fell like sparkling flakes of snow. Natasha had the nerve to let out a cough that sounded suspiciously like she was hiding her laughter. But neither Tony or Clint seemed to think the situation was even remotely funny.

Actually to them the situation was like a stab in the gut with an icy dagger.

"The young misgaurdian has a daughter?" Thor seemed to be the only one taking the situation calmly. His eyes finally seems to focus on the small child in Percy's arms. "But it's so scrawny....Do they usually come out like that?"

Natasha let out another cough, this time sounding more like she was giving birth to a scrawny misgaurdian child, than holding in her laughter.

"DO PEOPLE TELL ME NOTHING!" Tony seemed to have broken from his trance his body shaking from uncontrollable distress and anger.

"Well maybe if you acted more mature and didn't break your 500$ sunglasses every time you hear something that surprises you. People might start letting you in on adult conversations for once." Natasha's laughter eased to a pitiful sigh as she stared back out at the glittering skyline.

"Okay first of all this isn't a joke. Why isn't anyone telling me anything that I need to know? I mean I think mentioning the fact that MY NEPHEW HAS A DAUGHTER, would be crucial thing to add...or is it just me who thinks that?" Tony shoved his hands irritatedly into his pockets.

"Well you can't have blamed fury. He's never been perfectly clear with things like this. And truthfully, you won't have custody of the daughter, so it wasn't necessary that Fury would have to notify you about the girl." Natasha countered, in defense to Fury. Though already her argument sounded weak and pointless.

Tony glared at her, not even having the dignity to agree. "But the girl is going to live with me, right? Same thing as custody, practically. It would have been helpful to know that my nephew had a daughter."

He glanced back to look at his nephew as if suddenly remembering that boy was still there. Tony stomped over to him and spent a good five minutes trying to push the boy out of the shadows.

Finally he managed to budge him a couple inches so that his face was no longer shrouded in darkness. The group seemed to take this as an opportunity to study him. Of course Percy did nothing in return except simply look away from their stabbing stairs and prop the girl up on against his shoulder, trying to calm her down. The child had awoken from the yells and was whimpering softly.

This was the greatest action the group had seen from him. Natasha half expected him to blink next. But instead the boy glared at Tony as if it was his fault for waking his child, (which it technically was) and cradled her softly into the crook of his neck. Natasha, of course, had seen all kinds of petrifying things in her life. Many of which, would have killed any person of normal status. But even she had to admit the boy was frightening when he was mad. He was already hostile as it was, from which Natasha had gathered from the few minutes with him. But adding the wolf glare upon his features was downright terrifying.

It didn't surprise her as much as it should have. That someone so young could produce something so scary; something only a dark past could produce. She had seen many dark things in the redroom, but the worst thing was how young they were. How easy they were manipulated, forced by pain. The boy was only as tough as what he was forced to be. His anger was his protection against his past.

Natasha closed her eyes for a second, her hands clasped to her sides. Curiosity was brewing behind her discovery, something she had no control over. Something had to have happened to the boy, something dark for him to be like this. Something as simple as his mothers death couldn't have effected him this deep. 'Fury is getting the files' she reminded her self, you can figure it out than.

Slowly she opened her eyes and returned to the scene before her. Mostly all of the people gathered had either looks of shock or fear. Of course being on the receiving end of the glare, Tony was a bit shaken up. His immediate look of shock had turned to fear as he stumbled away from his nephew who held his daughter closer, her sobs trailing away to nothing. Slowly Tony glanced at the rest of them to see if he was the only one who thought the glare as scary as he did.

Since the group weren't complete morons they immediately fell back. Their faces morphing into casual looks of interest. They weren't gonna have Tony think they were scared. But the fear underlining their eyes registered in his own. And he glared at them.

The rest of the group made eye contact for a mere second in decision that they would discuss the matter later. Clint was the first to speak out of the group; as he glanced at Tony.

"What's her name?"

Tony gestured meekly at the child, "Kalliope."

Clint nodded slowly and sat down his head in his hands, probably processing the situation. Natasha smiled slightly, her voice hoarse as she spoke to the boy.

"She's beautiful."

Silence.

It wasn't like she expected an answer anyways.
