I yawned slowly.

"Leo," Piper said, "how about a truth or dare?"

I pouted, and Calypso nudged me lightly.

"Fine."

"Truth or dare?"

I wasn't gonna be chicken, not in front of Percy and Jason, so I chose:

"Dare."

"Why does nobody choose truth?" Percy whined.

"Percy, I chose dare."

"Yeah, but-"

"Percy, shut up," Annabeth sighed. He listened to her and closed his mouth.

"Okay, Leo," Piper said thoughtfully. She scanned her eyes around the circle. I thought she was going to make Jason strike me with lightning. But no, she chose something worse.

"Let me explain what I want you to do," she said. "Firstly, Frank and Hazel will tell everybody that you are going to be soaked for a dare-" my face paled "-then you're going to change into your swimming costume. After that, we're going to have everybody gather around the canoe lake, and Percy will raise up as much water as he can. You will then be soaked."

I was practically shivering. I hated water much more than other people. Firstly, water rusted joints and spoiled things I was working on, and secondly, I'M A FRICKIN FIRE USER. I scowled at Piper. I guess this was payback for all those third-wheel pranks (which were actually imaginary).

Percy, however annoying I thought he was, surprised me.

"No," he said. "I can just soak him on here. There's no point, and he would get made fun of afterwards."

Piper scowled, but agreed.

I relaxed.

Suddenly, I was freezing and couldn't breathe. I started choking wildly. The water left. I started coughing. Calypso fetched a towel for me. I smiled gratefully at her. Have I ever mentioned how much I love her?
