Saturday was the best day for me. Mostly because it was Quidditch day. Since last year, I'd been waiting to go back to the stands next to Lee and change the points as he made very interesting comments about the players.
And now, it was Gryffindor vs Slytherin , and I'd deceived to show off my house pride.
That morning, Ginny used her 'muggle skills' that she'd learnt from Arthur, to paint a little lion on the side of my face, and I put on Fred's Quidditch jumper.
"You're the definition of a Gryffindor Y/N!" Ginny laughed, and I giggled at the sight before me in the mirror.
There was plenty of red for sure.
As we walked into the Great Hall, I saw Angelina, Katie, Alicia, Fred, George and Harry all talking quickly and nervously. Of course nearly all my friends were on the Quidditch team.
"Morning winners of the Quidditch house cup." I greeted the group, plopping down in the bench next to Fred and Lee.
"Morning beautiful." Fred whispered in my ear, kissing me in the cheek and swinging his arm around my shoulder.
"Fred you better not do her here becau-" Lee began, but was interrupted with a piece of toast being thrown at his head.
"Shut up Jordan." He grumbled, and then gave me a little wink.
"Never dream of doing such sinful things with dear Dolores nearby." He smirked.
"That's not what you were saying the other night Fred Weasley was it? If I remebeee correctly Y/N was sayi-" Lee began, only for the entire group to tell and cover their ears.
"If we wanted to know about Y/N and Fred's rendezvous, we'd ask them ourselves thank you Lee." George quipped, before turning to Angelica and kissing her on the lips.

"Yeah at least we need to ask Y/N and Fred, can't say the same for you two - we're seeing it all the time!" Alicia joined in, and Lee nodded in approval.
"Right you are Spinnet!" He jeered, only for another piece of toast to be thrown at his face from Angelina this time.
"Hey! The house elves work hard to make this breakfast! Don't waste it all!" Hermione said, trying to save the other pieces of toast from being used as a weapon.
But Lee didn't respond, instead he wa a currently hiding under the table from Angelina's cold glare that would make anyone want to run away.
Everyone burst out laughing when Angelina couldn't hold it for long.
"I swear to god Lee if you stay making comments about you friends love lives when we're at the match, a rogue bludger might just knock you down." George teased, and Lee grinned.
"Now what would make you say that Mr Weasley?" He said, raising his eyebrows in false innocence.
"Hmmmm I don't know! Maybe because you've done it at the Hufflepuff game too?" I joined in, and Fred grinned at my comment.
"Oh no Miss Y/N Black chose violence today!" Lee exclaimed, shuffling away from me as fast as he could.
"Cant believe you're not scared of the beaters and bludgers , but of Angelina's death glare and my comments." I said, and Lee pretended to shake in fear.
"We need to get going, we've got a game to win!" Harry said, and the team stood up.
The entire hall had been staring at the Gryffindor team as they left in their Quidditch robes, so everybody including Umbridge saw Fred pull me close, an kiss me, his lips lingering longer than they should've.

"C'mon Fred! You can snog your girlfriend after the match!" Lee shouted at him, and I blushed.
"Better win Freddie." I said, and he smirked.
"Wouldn't dream of losing now would I love?" He flashed a smile before rubbing to join the others, leaving me and Hermione at the table.
"How's it going with Ron?" I turned to the girl, and her jaw dropped in surprise.
"Wh...What?" She stammered, going a deep shade of red.
"It's pretty obvious Mione - don't worry though! He'd be an idiot to not like you." I gave her a smile, and then got up to make my way to the Quidditch pitch to wish Blaise luck before he played.
He may be playing against all my other friends, but he was still one of my closest friends and a gifted chaser .
Let the games begin.

Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job.
