Jungkook' POV
Uggggghhhh!! It's so boring!!!! After a few minutes of me just closing my eyes I started to hear footsteps in front of my room door. I kept my head down and strained my ears as hard as I could to hear the conversation between the two outside the room.
"This is the Bastard's room, be carful beautiful. He's dangerous". Said one voice, I remember this voice! I punched him in the nose! I smirked thinking about the time they came in to feed me but one of the guards that seemed to have a higher rank was glaring at me.
I did a logical thing and asked him what his problem was he said it was me and called me very colourful words so I punched him whilst he had his guard down. "One: He is still a human being so it would be highly appreciated if you would shut your fucking mouth, Two: it would do the world a favour if you never hit on me again and Three: don't you think I fucking know that?" Said another voice. It was higher than the other one but you can still tell it's a guy.
I smiled slightly at the part of him defending me. This guy probably thinks he can turn me back to normal. Tch. If he thinks he's gonna change me he's gonna see a really ugly Jungkook.
There was a pause for a couple of seconds before I heard the unlocking of the door. My ears perked up a bit but I still kept my head down. Again, there was a pause before the door pushed open.
I slowly lifted my head up and stared at the person in the doorway. I don't know how to describe him other than the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my whole life.

Jimin's POV
I stared at the person on the floor in the corner of the room. He lifted his head up and looked at me. They widened the slightest fraction before going back to normal his whole face turned stone like.
This boy....no....this MAN was the most beautiful creature I have seen in my life. My eyes softened when I noticed the straight jacket wrapped tighter than it should be around him.
I smirked lightly and remembered how skilfully I stole the key for that straight jacket off of the guards belt. I've always been good with using my hands in both ways if you know what I'm getting at.
"Who are you?" He asked and oh my fucking god his voice was slightly raspy and low, just perfect.
I smiled an eye smile at him and spoke "I'm your new psychiatrist". He looked me up and down smirking before speaking "I guess they weren't kidding when they said the most attractive psychiatrist was coming to give me treatment". He spoke, he had an evil glint in his eyes that a normal person wouldn't have caught but because I'm not normal I did.
I chuckled lightly at his comment before looking at his straight jacket again. I walked over to him making him snap his head in my direction. "Do you mind sitting up for a second?" I asked him nicely.
He looked at me suspiciously for a second before doing as he was told. I walked even closer, bent down and reached into my pocket picking up the key.
I brought it out and unlocked his jacket allowing his arms to be free. He ripped the jacket off and stretched his arms letting out a very ear pleasing growl/moan.
"Better?" I asked him, he looked at me "yeah" I nodded and sat down in a chair that was on the side of the room, I wasn't gonna push him to say thank you because I don't think that someone like him does something like that often.

"Ok, let's set shit straight here". He said, I looked at him giving my full attention. "You will NEVER get me to be normal yeah? I'm not normal and I'll never be normal. I'm fine with that, you're wasting your time being here". He finished. I stared at him, he is determined to making me leave I see.
I chuckled then began to full on laugh. "Mr.Jeon-" I began but was cut off. "Jungkook. Just Jungkook. I ain't with that formal shit". He said to which I nodded.
"Jungkook, I'm not going to try and make you normal." He looked at me slightly shocked, "I'm here to get you to not be as bored and lonely anymore, of course no one else knows this, so what do you say? Do you want to be civil?" I asked politely. He looked at me with wide eyes before scoffing and turning the other way.
"Yeah whatever, just don't expect me to tell you shit, I don't trust you" he said, I nodded my head "I'm fine with that".
"Well would you look at that, the session seems to be over.....I'll see you tomorrow Jungkook". I said before smiling at him and walked out of the door.

Overture of an Odyssey
Awakened in a dungeon by a voice calling him "Harbinger", Hyx had no recollection of his memories prior to this peculiar situation. There are only two things he remembers, his name and he comes from earth. Facing the countless aberrations of the dungeon, he came to realize he is not on earth anymore. Now faced with such reality filled with dangerous monsters, hostile environments and difficult choices, his humanity and morals will be hanging on a thin blur line between black and white if he wishes to survive. This is a story of a seemingly normal human's transformation into a monster. A tale of a boy's rising among terrors of the foulest. An overture of a tragic and epic odyssey. A/N: This is a novel inspired by japanese light novels and web novels. Also, I'm not really good at English as it is not my first language. I am aware of the grammar mistakes and inconsistency in my writing. Please pardon me for this and by all means, point out any mistakes spotted. I will be grateful for that.

Journey West 5000
With her parents murdered and her brother abducted, a trainee Monk of the Gun pursues the one responsible, the Bull Demon King, undefeated Warlord of the Crimson Army.Struggling to track down her enemy while braving the dangers of the wilds, she enlists the help of Sun Wukong, but 500 years under a mountain have taken its toll. Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.

Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.

Stories Of Indlu
“… to grow, for opportunity, for adventure, to be free. Join the colony ship Nao Vittoria. Be the first to live amongst the stars.” It was obvious from the literature that the NextStar corporation wanted the young, the adventurous and the brilliant. So why were the super rich fighting over seats? Why were AI’s trying to stow away? Did this signify a premature end to human/AI civilisation? Why had some questions directed to NextStar been aggressively sidelined? Why did the colonist inflight entertainment trial produce fatalities? In fact, why colonists at all? Those and many other questions, however, boiled down to a single central question. Why was the world’s most advanced AI dumped with a hundred year babysitting job for 50 million people speeding towards an uninhabitable planet? It made such little sense. The only sure way to get answers, catch a ride on the Nao Vittoria and play the inflight entertainment game, Pax Domini. I joined, and this is my story. Well, I feature. OK, I’m more of a spectator. Actually, I’m completely irrelevant I was just there. I’m only the storyteller. But what a story to tell. --------- Hi All, Content will be published weekly usually Saturday and typical posts will be 25oo to 4ooo words per post. Though for some reason the Royal Road word count does not include the content of tables so some posts may not appear to meet this criteria. Currently I have written sufficient unedited content to keep this schedule for the next 12 months (half way through the first story arc). My current productivity would indicate that I can maintain this schedule for well into the second story arch. This also allows for the additional content that will be posed exclusively on Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/StoriesOfIndlu). This additional content follows minor characters, peripheral events, maps and other content that does not take away from the main story. I would love to accelerate the post schedule but to meet this I need the assistance of more beta readers than I currently have. So please let me know if you are interested. - Andy ©2022 Andy Leauter.
