Liam stumbles into the house.

"I've found someone," he whispers, he floats near my head. "She wants to kill me."

"Whenever a woman wants to kill you, you're halfway there," I shrug. "Eleanor wants me dead every other week. Don't you, dear?"

"Tuesday's," she remarks from the bedroom. "I'm always in the mood to kill him on Tuesdays."

I shrug. "See."

"She's really interesting," he explains, floating to the fridge. "I like her. I really like her. Her mom is in a wheel chair and her brother is gay, and she has a very bad attitude."

"So she's related to fruits and vegetables. Got it. What am I meant to do with this?" I raise my brow.

Eleanor sneezes loudly from the back room.

"I don't think he's inviting us anywhere dear we don't have to fake sick."

"Thank god."

He narrows his eyes. "I wouldn't believe you anyway. We're vampires we don't get sick."

Liam rolls his eyes, shifting in his boy meets world memorial backpack. Dear god he's still not over that.

"I think I should kidnap her. Well...woman nap her. What do you think?"

I nod. "Wonderful idea."

I book comes sailing at my head and I duck. It hits Liam square in the face.

"Terrible idea." I shake my head.

Liam rolls his eyes. "You're useless. Eleanor? Where are you, you she dragon?"

I roll my eyes following him into the bedroom. Eleanor has plans sprawled along the walls and floor.

"Hey you little piece of shit. I thought you died." She chuckled. "Oh well. What say you?"

Liam kicked a paper in disgust. "I want this woman to love me. How do I do it?"

She raised her brow. "Don't be yourself. At all." She remarks, pulling a pen from behind her ear.

"Real advice please."

She looks up with a sigh. "Take a vested interest in her. Support her. Care about her. Don't be a fucking dick."

She shrugs. "If you have a nice dick that helps. Alastair. Help me with this please."

I hold up her poster and she stands back looking at it.

"What do you think?" she looks up at me, eyes twinkling.

I look down at the poster board, with her plan for the library.

"You once told me I had the power to give you what I say you deserve, but that I didn't," I murmur.

She tucks a curl behind her ear staring at me in question.

I shake my head. "Nothing. It's wonderful. Where will you hold the readings?"

She looks up at me with a frown. "Alastair your plan is see through. You think you'll put some poor orphan in front of me, and I'll suddenly become a stay at home mother where you can breathe down my neck all night, and take me like an animal on every surface."

She is intelligent, after all one of the many reasons I am so in love with her.

"So...get her pregnant?" Liam asks.

"Yes."

"No!" She frowns. "I don't know what I am offended by more you pretending to support me or trying to trap me with some random orphan!"

"Present her an orphan?" Liam asks.

"Yes."

"No!" She hits me with a frown.

I roll my eyes. "I just can't do nothing right can I? I give you the library. I give you the orphan."

"I don't want an orphan, Alastair. Liam do not take advice from this idiot, he's a crazy person."

I roll my eyes. She kisses me hastily, she knows I am needy and quite easily offended.

I love her.

"But you promised me," I frown.

"And I will fulfill my promise. But I won't be loving them."

I frown. "Not even one good natured orphan?"

"Not even," she shoots me a look. "Alastair...I...really love your face you know?"

I raise my brows. I think she's telling me she loves me. How cute. I smile.

"I mean to say...I...love you. And you know that. I'm not leaving you. I'm just...in want of my purpose." She cups my face.

I nod. "I'm aware, my dearest Eleanor. And yet my bones burn with jealousy."

"I know, my love," she kissed me softly. She is so cautious of me these days. My feelings. I feel very loved by my Eleanor even if she plans to stay at her library forever:

Her kisses trail down my neck, opening my shirt.

"It's the fact I'm still in the room, for me," Liam says dully from behind us.

I glance back as my Eleanor gets to her knees. "And who's fault is that?"
