《Daughters of an Unwanting Diamond - tsundere885》◈ 7 ◈

"...might just grow up and save you after all..." Blue finished humming. Apparently, that song calmed the squirming gemlings down. Now she knew how to make them stop moving. Her head tilted upward at the sound of a knock on her door. "Come in," she said.
Her Chalcedony creaked the door open, smiling at her ruler. "I didn't want to interrupt such a lovely tune, my Diamond. Tell me, do you think the gemlings like it?"
"It calms them down, I know that."
"Good to hear. Has...Yellow felt them move, yet?"
Blue's eyes became droopier than usual. Her hand moved to her stomach and clenched the fabric covering it. "N-No...she hasn't..."
She gasped, "I'm so sorry my Diamond. I forgot that it was a sensitive subject."
"Don't worry, Chalcedony. Just...scan them, please?"
"O-Of course, my Diamond."
Chalcedony scanned her Diamond's stomach for what, she thought, would be the third to last time. Blue looked at her babies on the screen. She gave a small squeal, "Oh, I'm going to meet them soon!"
"Yes, you are—Oh, one's stopped resting, I see!" Chalcedony pointed to the gemling on the monitor who started wriggling around. It created multiple appearing then disappearing bulges in Blue's stomach.
"Well, hello to you, too, beautiful," Blue smiled, looking at her stomach. "So you're the one that's been kicking me hardest." She looked up at Chalcedony. "The other only nudges me, and The Late One...isn't moving yet."
"I certainly hope she does move, my Diamond."
"Is...no movement a sign of bad health?"
"It could be. She's four months in, and most gemlings start moving at five." Chalcedony's lips curled inward in thought. "My Diamond, could you lightly press an area near one of the 'on schedule' gemlings, to see if they move?"

Blue pressed her stomach, feeling multiple nudges in response. She could see the gemlings providing said nudges on the ultrasound screen.
"Now, my Diamond, do the same, but to The Late One."
Blue bit her lip, then pressed where The Late One was according to the ultrasound. She looked at the screen. The teeniest, tiniest little nudge. And Chalcedony could see The Late One moving on the ultrasound, too.
"Is early movement bad?" Blue asked, cupping her stomach with one hand.
"If I'm being honest, my Diamond, I don't know. As far as I'm concerned, early movement has never happened. I'll be sure to research it, don't worry."
Blue Diamond nodded, rubbing circles into her stomach with three fingers. "Is that all?" she asked. "Are we done?"
"Y-Yes—My Diamond, I know it's none of my business, but you seem frantic."
"You are dismissed."
Chalcedony gave a small gasp, then said, "Y-Yes, my Diamond." Chalcedony walked out, with her head down.
Blue sat up, tears falling onto her stomach. "How strange," she quietly thought aloud. "I wish to be with someone who doesn't love me as much as I love them."
She looked up at the ceiling, as if it were the heavens trying to give her an answer to all her problems. Her teeth were clenched, and large tears continued to spill out of her eyes like a faucet. Her arm was wrapped defensively around her stomach, as if she was going to lose it.
Chalcedony knocked on the wall of the entryway, earning a glare from Yellow Diamond.
"Enter," was all she said, sounding like she was expecting someone else.
Chalcedony stepped forward, giving a salute. "My Diamond, I came to ask, have you noticed a change in Blue Diamond's behavior?"

"There's nothing to notice if I don't see her."
"Ah. Well, I have. And...I think you should be, not worried, but concerned."
Only Yellow's eyes moved in Chalcedony's direction. "Go on."
"She becomes frantic when I stay with her for her checkup. Sure, she's always been a bit of a loner, but that was simply jarring to me. It seemed as though she was eager to think, rather than talk about it. Which brings up another subject..."
"And that is?"
"Well, to put it simply, who would be better to talk to a Diamond than a Diamond?"
"I've heard enough. She's already established that she'll call me when she's ready."
"Forgive me, my Diamond, but you should go to her regardless, if you see that she's in need of—"
"I've. heard. enough."
Chalcedony's pupils shrunk, and she could've sworn she was breaking into a cold sweat.
"Have I made myself clear?"
She saluted Yellow Diamond, while bowing. "Yes, my Diamond."
"You are dismissed."

The True Endgame
What defines endgame content? Is it raiding epic dungeons to take down the strongest bosses there are, or is it facing off against other players to climb the ladder and become the top PvPer? Is endgame content gathering materials and crafting the strongest and most exotic equipment that there is, or is it all about playing the market and amassing more wealth than everybody else? Some people even argue that fashion and minigames are endgame content! Ryouta has already done all of that. Having spent most of his life playing MMO after MMO, he now finds himself wanting to live a virtual life that is far more relaxed and casual than what he is known for. To Ryouta, the true endgame is fishing. Cover illustrated by KoeHaru1!

Saint's Supporter
Dumped into a world by myself, set up with a class that requires others to excel with just over a week to prepare for a fight with a literal god. This is just another betrayal to add to the list. I won't stop until I find the person who put me in this situation, along with my friend who I dragged into this mess. Transferring to another world and gaining special powers is a dream for some, but if they were dropped into my shoes... they'd probably give up. But I won't. This story has the following elements: Male MC Light RPG mechanics (no in-story stat tables) Non-standard class for the MC Moderate violence A mix of solo fights and group battles with a balance of tactics, skill and ability usage If you're looking for the below, you may be disappointed: Instantly overpowered MC (no prior skills in combat, every bit of growth is earned) Female MC (duh) Explicit sex (may be referenced, but no NSFW chapters) Health bars (damage taken and given reflects reality) Harem Gore and ultra-violence **This story is a First Draft, changes may take place during the process. Three chapters per week at minimum.** **So, this is set up as a GameLit transported to a new world story initially, but it focuses on how such a system would work in real life. There are levels, abilities and mana pools, but damage and health are realistic and combat is fast and frantic. I think that is an interesting mix. If you have any questions, just ask in the comments. I'm always happy to discuss anything in relation to the story.**
