《~danganronpa chatfic~》chapter 11

well after the whole serialkillertryingtobreakinthelibrary incident I was now wide awake. and Togami was acting quite skittish since then. probably because his stalker was asking to see him and was yelling and pounding on the door. "anyways how are you?" I asked trying to change the very awkward mood. "i'm fine" he said grabbing his book and just sticking his face in it. from what it looks like he was almost done so I started reading the book i was also almost done with.
"hey Kuya?" I asked him. "what?" he said. "you okay? you look pretty uneasy" I said a little concerned. "its none of your business" he snapped. I winced but nodded. seems like he was in a pretty bad mood. I guess I should stop bothering him. I continued reading my book.
it had a few pages left so that was good. it was a pretty good book. I mean I would read anything but it was pretty good! even trashy books are good but in a bad way. its kinda hard to explain but some books are so bad its good. like twilight or some other trashy romance series. though trashy romance is sometimes pretty funny.
BOOM
i almost dropped the book "holy frick I forgot there was a thunderstorm" I thought to myself. I wrapped the blankets around me and shivered. "why is it so cold during fall?" I mumbled while reading. "like I said earlier. weather is a strange thing" Togami said sounding uninterested. "apparently so." I nodded. we just sat in silence.
awkward silence
I continued reading and was almost done. I give the book 9/10. it was pretty good and the main character was pretty likable. I swayed a little side to side. I guess the crackle of the fire was kinda calming. the rain was not so bad right now

BOOM
never mind-
I closed the book and walked back up to the bookshelf I got it from. I put it back and started looking for another book. I heard the sound of footsteps and glanced behind me. I guess Togami also finished his book. he just stood next to me ignoring my entire existence and put the book back. "how was the book?" I asked trying to find the 2nd book of the series i was reading. "it was good" he said not looking at me. "oh that's cool! the book I was reading was pretty good. there was some action scenes..." I ranted a little about the book. he looked like he was partially paying attention but kept nodding. guess he wasn't listening. I kept ranting for a bit about my book still at the bookshelf. I guess he got quite annoyed with me talking non-stop.
Suddenly I was pushed against the bookshelf and a hand slammed next to my head. a strangled gasp came out of me "Makoto shut up" Togami said glaring at me. apparently I was talking so much he decided to pin me against the bookshelf to make me stop talking. well it worked cause all that came out was "I- w..what?" he leaned a little closer. "I said shut up" he said. I nodded quickly, "c-can you let go of me?" I mumbled trying to push him away. he seemed a little amused by my reaction and it made my stomach flutter. My face was red and I made a bit of a choking sound. "whats wrong?" he asked tilting his head. though by the glint in his eyes he knew what was wrong. he knew what he was doing. apparently he liked seeing me all weak and flustered. which was exactly whats happening right now. I tried to say something but all that came out was kinda of a wheeze. "I....c-can you..." my voice cracked and I trailed off.

"wow how smooth of you Makoto" I thought to myself. My stomach still had flutters and my face was red. Togami seemed pretty amused by my reaction. "why the hell is he doing this?" I thought. "he could've just asked instead of pinning me against the bookshelf"I thought again. apparently I could think well enough but speaking was a whole other story. "whats wrong?" he asked again even though he knew what was wrong. "i-...nothing.." I felt a little weak in the knee's. "c-can you let go of me?" I asked quietly. "why?" he asked. I was certain at this point he was just messing with me just to get a reaction out of me. well it was working. "b-because...i.." I trailed off once more. my legs felt weak and I practically collapsed.
I expected to fall on the cold marble floor but Togami caught me. "hey be careful" he said as I leaned against him. "mhm o-okay" I said nodding. he carried me to the armchair and my stomach was still getting flutters. "whats wrong?" he asked still very amused. "y-you..pinned me against the bookshelf.." i muttered. "yes and?" he asked smirking. "...t-to shut me up" I said still red. "and it worked" he said. I didn't notice but he apparently had another book in his hands. he must of got it while I was..distracted. I just nodded still struggling to form simple sentences. "you could've asked me to stop talking"I mumbled. he opened the book he was reading, "I could've but wheres the fun in that?" he asked smirking slyly.
my stomach got more butterflies and my face felt warm. "why would he go out of his way to do that?"

Dominion Expansion (a 4X LitRPG)
Clay is one of the world's top players of 4X games, a genre where the goal is to eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. He's also one of the only players in the world to so stubbornly stick to the one city strategy, a favorite tactic of his that involves only ever using a single city or planet depending on the game's setting. All that matters to him is winning with his favorite strategy, but earning the respect of his fellow players for taking a sub-optimal strategy to its highest level has always been a nice bonus. And now it is because of his skill and entertaining determination that he has been chosen to represent a higher realm in a strategy game where the fate of Earth and dozens of other worlds are at stake. To the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils include entire worlds and billions of lives. That's how he ends up representing the ascended realm of Hell in a grand "game" between an entire pantheon of godly beings and other higher powers. But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.
