Tea is warm,

tea is comforting,

tea protects me from hurting.

Tea is strong,

tea is weak,

it must be poured with proper technique.

Tea is loved,

tea's despised,

of mother natures leaves, it is comprised.

Tea is meditative,

tea is respected,

it must be properly selected.

Tea is hot,

tea is cold,

many properties, it beholds.

Tea is harmful,

tea is healing,

of which my favorite is Darjeeling.

Tea is treacherous,

tea is calming,

after pouring,

my hands are often throbbing.
