Steva POV

Emma came over today after class. Nope, not 'cause she loves me. That's a bad guess. She came only to pester me about the party at the Alpha's house.

"Steva we only have three hours to get ready so hurry up!" Atleast let me reach my room before screaming at me lady. *sigh*

"Oh.. about that" I started. She groaned in response and yelled, "ugh, what now?"

"I don't have a suitable dress..."

"Oh no problem" She squeaked.

"What do you mean..?"

"I kind of guessed you wouldn't have one so guess what?" She stared at me like she was expecting an answer.

"What..?" I asked her slowly.

"I got you a dress too, silly!"

I groaned internally. I've been trying to avoid the party since she mentioned it 'cause my wolf's been pretty restless everytime the topic was brought up. Now that plan A failed, it was time to execute Plan B; after I decide what plan B is.. Come on Steva! Come up with a better idea.

"That's so sweet of you! Thank you Em! But did you study for the math test already? If you did, you'll definitely have to help me out. I had no time to study at all" I said with dramatic levels of fake worry.

This caught her attention. She screeched a deafening what and bombarded me with questions. "What test? When did he tell us about a test?"

"Come on Emma cut the drama! You're helping me out and this test is a huge part of our final grade."

"I'm not kidding! I have no clue we had a test. Shit! What should I do?"

"Oh you're serious. You really didn't study for it." I played along.

"No shit, Sherlock." She deadpanned.

I smiled sheepishly. I gave a huge round of applause for myself in my head. Wow I could join the drama club. But Emma was in the corner freaking out like a mad woman.

"It's okay Emma. I'll stay back and study for it. You guys should carry on. Don't worry, I'll help you out in the test. I'm not that interested in the party anyway so go have some fun. Don't fall into trouble. I can't keep coming to save your ass; might I add, every time."

"Hey! That was once!" I raised my left brow and gave her a sceptical look.

"Okay it was thrice." She mumbled. With that said, she went down to get into Alex's car. Apparently, he'd been here for the past fifteen minutes. Oops?

"Have fun!" I waved them goodbye.

I went back to my room and decided on watching a marathon of 'teen wolves'. I know what you might be thinking- What about the math test, missy? Well I may or may not have finished reading for it. In my defence, it was a test on one of the easiest chapters in math.

I was dozing off on the sofa when I got a call from an unknown number. Being the smart person I am, I answered.

"Hello?"

"Oh hey! Thank god you picked up. Your friends are wasted and won't move an inch so, umm.. could you come and pick them up?", a girl asked.

"Who are you and whom are you talking about?" I asked puzzled.

"Well I'm Bella. Am I speaking to Steva?" she asked in a confused tone.

"Yes, I'm Steva" I said trying to buy some time to figure out who exactly Bella was.

Oh right Bella. That rings a bell. She's that sweet and kind nerd. She's taking care of drunk people even in a party. So sweet.

"Bella, whom exactly are you talking about?" I asked still confused.

"Oh I was talking about your friends Alex and I guess Emma. They passed out maybe 'cause of all the alcohol and are presently in the pack house" she said.

"Okay. But how did you know that I was not with them in the party and how do you know they are my friends?" I asked her curious.

"Well A, I always see you three together, B, the time is 11:00 and I couldn't find you in the party, C, I didn't see you coming in with your friends" she said.

"Alright. I'll be there as soon as I can" I hung up the call.

I can't believe this these two assholes are drunk already. I drove to the pack house to see both Alex and Emma passed out near the parking lot itself. How convenient.

I was loading them into my car when all of a sudden, my wolf started being restless again. It wouldn't stop pacing back and forth in my head.

She was nervous for reasons I don't know. When I tried asking her what was wrong she just shut me out. I guess I have a very rude wolf. Nah she's the best.
