When the Mercenary association spread their influence in all country and became more powerful almost on par with the major power the other 3 major powers made an agreement. Then make the Mercenary to join their ranks and they created a rule that all people must obey. This rule is only the permitted ones can sell the cores.

These are the list that are permitted to sell cores you must be police, army, nobles, those who work at church like priest or nun's etc, government and mercenary it means if you are a normal citizen that killed the monster then sell their cores, you can't sell it.

The scientist also made a indetification card each for everyone that can't be plagiarist if others steal it then used it and scan it. The id card will immediately destroyed because its connected to your genes and dna. If it is the owner who will used it and scan it. A machine will display your identity like age, birthday, age, and past records if you commit any crimes.

The burglar, robber, bandit, criminals , or any bad influence can't make any profit of the cores and even the people because of the new rule and the identification card. This also made almost all in the community want to become Mercenary etc.

Inside the bus there are five rows of each four seats and I sit at last row at the back.

On my right side who sit on the third row the mother and the child who accompany me awhile ago in the buss stop.

My left side are six people that I don't recognize their faces, four teenagers who wears a uniform and one grandfather maybe 90 years old because he has many wrinkles on his face but he still can walk like a teenage boy since our body became stronger.

The four highschool students sit at the 1st and 2nd row respectively while the grandfather in the 3th row.

Then in the 4th row a man covering with face mask wearing a normal attire like going to buy some errands because there is a basket on his right foot.

When I enter the bus earlier I felt a glimpse of strong aura then immediately vanished but didn't recognize who it was. I passed the students that are laughing then keep talking. I know they keeps on giggling because of the man in the 4th row going to the famous city with the kind of attire seems amusing but I didn't underestimate him. I can somewhat feel when i sit at the back and I'm sure he is the one who emit a strong aura awhile ago my 6th sense can feel it even though he suppress it and intrigue who he is.

After 25 mins of traveling maybe 20 mins more we will arrive in the city and I have a hunch something will happen I guess it's only my imagination. Then after 5 mins have passed the bus stop to get more passengers. Then two adults wearing a small back pack on their back wearing a hat and a skinny head. So this is what my hunch told me. Damn! I'm gonna be late.

After door of the bus close. The two adults who just enter observe us and the one wearing a hat open his back pack and pick an object inside of his bag and they shouted together.

The students,driver, mother and the child look at them and felt so scared but the man wearing a face mask didn't feel intimidated and keep his cool. The hat wearing thieves tell the driver to slowly and the driver obey it.

The other one shouted.

Give me all your wallet, jewel and accessories.

I observe the man wearing the mask and said to my self, damn! why are you still observing or I will be late if you don't act sooner.

The man on hat holding the gun stays at the back in case someone will retaliate while the other bald one collecting the wallets etc.

The students and mother didn't hesitate to give it all because they recognize the gun that always shown on TV the new model that can penetrate a thin wall and it also the first time they saw a thieves. When the bald thieves near in 4th row, the child shouted and pointed a finger on him.

Child : You bad thieves mercenaries will arrest you and will save us.

I look at the child and I imagine if my step mom and sister encounter the same thing. This make me feel more mad since this days there are more thieves than in the past.

Then look again at the child. What a strong boy and has a lot of courage well maybe almost all the children are courageous since they are still a child. OK will you call boy from now on.

If this bald will do something bad to the boy I will make him regret that he can't even remember his name.

The mom put her hand of the mouth of his child to keep his mouth closed.

Then the bald look at the child.

Mom: I'm sorry he still a child please forgive him.

The bald observe mom from head to toe and lick his lips then look at the child.

Bald : Really? so where are t

The mask man suddenly punch the bald thieves the back of his head two times using a fast jab and get unconscious and fell down.

The man on hat point the gun on him and he didn't hesitate to pull the trigger.

The masked man trying to attack but can't reach him in a normal way.

Bang! Almost too late but the masked man hit the edge of the pointing gun using a horizontal high kick 360° and hit the roof of the bus and create a small hole then he use an uppercut with mana surrounding his fist then hit the jaw of the hat man.

Crack! When the fist hit his jaw it create a loud sound and lift him a little in the air and make his hat fell down and then he vomit some blood with 3 tooth's and fell unconscious after. Then he tell the driver to stop the bus then driver didn't hesitate and stop immediately and didn't ask why.

The students let a dry laugh while the grandpa, me, the mother and child clapping. Especially the child his smile is so wide and his eyes are shining.

Child : Mom! I somewhat recognize that mister.

Mom and the students : Oh really who? The students hear the child and join their conversation.

Child : Its Van the new Mercenary rank C. Just debuted last 2 weeks. I saw him on tv.

Students : Ohh! The first Mercenary in our country?

Child : Yes! That's him.

Students : A celebrity we should get an autograph.

Then stop midway cause they are embarrassed awhile ago.

Van hear the conversation and take off his face mask.

When I look at his face he really handsome maybe 25-30 years old. His face is oval with a fair complexion, black straight hair, blue round eyes, pointed nose and pouty lips.

Students : he is really sir Van on we saw on the TV because the TV didn't publicly shown where the mercenaries lived. I'm sorry sir Van we laugh earlier.

Van : You don't have to worry about it. I can give you my autograph after we put the thieves outside.

Students and the child shouted the same time: Yes! And the mom smiling.

After they finish to put the thieves outside. Van give his autograph to the students, mother and child even the grandfather want it. After that they took a picture and I'm just observing them like an audience. Van also invited me but I decline.

So he is a mercenary after all and this is what celebrity look like I'm so jealous.

After 5 mins the police car came and I realize he call the police immediately when the thieves arrived at the bus.

Police : Its sir Van thank you for arresting the thieves even its your day off.

Van : You don't have to worry about that.

Police : Can I ask something if it is OK?

Van : Sure what is it?

Police : Why is your dress like that?

Van : Ah! My mother told me to buy some groceries in famous market because today they have a 50% discount that's why I'm in a hurry.

He told them why scratching his head.

Police : So that's the reason! OK you can go now or you'll be late.

Van : Thank you officer! Bye I leave now.

Van say goodbye to the children and others.

Ned : Sir officer I also need to go or I will be late.

I went to talk to the one of police officer because I realize that they will bring us all in the police station.

Police : No you can't we need a lot of witness.

Ned : Sir its really urgent this day is the first and last day of Mercenary school entrance exam. I need to go there badly or I will wait for another year. Please sir! The officer fell a pity on me.

Police : OK you can go but you must have a evidence that you will enroll on that school.

I show him a band paper that has a Mercenary logo at the bottom. The police read then didn't recognize the logo. He talk to sir Van to check it if it's true.

Van didn't go immediately after he said goodbye he just listening to my conversation with the officer since he is curious about me because when he still fighting with the thieves he notice a little bit all the passengers seems scared except me and didn't feel intimidated.

The police give my band paper to Van and he read then look the sign at then bottom. He told the officers its legit. Then he let me off.

I thank the police and Van. Then immediately want to run cause I'm in hurry. Then stop midway cause Van want to say something from me.

Van : You can ride with me I'm gonna call for a taxi its near anyway in the city. It's will not cost too much.

Ned : Thank you very much for helping me earlier.

Van : Its OK.

We found a taxi to ride then went to the city.
