I slowly flutter my eyes open.
Hmm? Where am I?
I observe my surroundings. It is not the my room nor Eru's. I am on a small yet comfortable wooden bed with next to me is the fireplace. It is but a small wooden house.
𝘒-78, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵?
𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥. You were picked up by a young man.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘶𝘱? 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.
𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗜𝗘𝗦. You have lost your consciousness after running away from Kai. The man whom saw you collapsed out of nowhere decides to take you to his home.
𝘞𝘩𝘰?
As K-78 is on way to answer, the door opens. Immediately, my guards raise as I stare at the young man who enters.
"Ah, you have awaken, miss. How are you feeling?" he asks as he rearranges the fireplace with the wood he carries.
"Who are you?" Of course it's not my obligation to answer a suspicious man's question.
He gently smiles before answering with a question, "It would be pointless for me to ask to lower your guard, wouldn't it?"
He looks at me with the same smile and speaks again, "My name is Elicia. I am but a humble wizard."
As he say so, he stands and gracefully bow. Ah, this man is one of the MC's love interest. He's the kind-hearted innocent sweetheart who's rejected, as always.
Seeing him in the novel was enough to make me fall for him but he is actually in front of me right now. How crazy is that? My point is he looks... extremely pretty. I'm not the best at vocabulary, shut up.
His straight and long black hair is as good-looking as his smooth face with his relaxing features. His eyelashes are curvy and long with his deep gold eyes.

"May I ask your name in return?" his soft voice brings me back to reality. What am I checking him out for? Don't lose your sanity just over good-looks. But you can't blame me exactly, right? Yeah, blame him for being pretty.
"My name is Mai." for some reason, I don't feel like introducing myself as Eru. This guy don't know, right? There's no harm in lying.
"I see. May I ask something, my lady?"
"Ugh, stop calling me that. You can just call me Mai. And yes, go on."
"What were you doing out there in the night?"
"I was running away from this stupid knight! I just wanted to go out for a walk and he was 'spying' on me, how crazy!" I exclaim. Alright, it is a bit exaggerated but hey he doesn't know...
𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗛. You are becoming much more of a villainess rather than how Eru was with your lies.
I'm not lying. It is true that Kai was spying on me.
Elicia opens his mouth to speak but I shout first upon remembering something important, "I needed to prove myself by 8 AM!"
I run to the door to get out only to see the moon. It's not yet morning...?
Whatmore, this is an empty and plain field of grass that expands to God knows where. It literally is empty with this wooden house as an exception.
"What... What is this?" my mouth is left hanging in amazement and wonder.
I hear his light footsteps, "Do not fret, my lady. This is my domain that only I can control and see, time here is stopped."
"We're not in Haku anymore, right?"
"My domain is not part of the world yet it can be found anywhere." he answers, confusing me even more. Is that some sort of riddle?

"To simply answer your question then the answer can be both yes or no."
I really need to start writing the informations I know. Even this Domain Control magic of his is something that I certainly should have been aware of.
"Do not be afraid, I will return you back to Haku." he says and I know he will. He is the kind of man who, despite going hard times, never gave up on Mika.
"Thanks."
He walks closer and closer as we stare at each other. As he raises his left hand, I close my eyes thinking of it as painful process.
But all he did is lightly place his hand on my forehead.
I slowly open my eyes to see him smiling, he whispers before my disapperance, "Take care, Mai."

Chronicles Of The Storylord: 12th Chronicle - Origin
Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am the 12th soul, but I am not as those others are, for I am merely a shard. My purpose: begin the Tale anew. For I am the Storylord, and I am the Tale. The Tale is all, and all is the Tale, yet the Tale is myself, for I am all in my domain. This is my story, the saga of many, the legend… of the Tale. Just remember this: “This world is but a story, and all the stories are true...” This story is in the same general multiverse as RE: Deity by lightningwarrior21, but will be almost completely separate except in a few chapters. I have permission from him to use his base multiverse, and you should go check out his fiction, it’s really good. http://royalroadl.com/fiction/9597 This ‘fiction’ will be updated sporadically, so don’t expect much of a steady stream of chapters. (I’ll try to do one chapter a week, but no promises.) Suggestions on how to improve this universe helps with the management, so comments are welcome, as are Grammar Nazis. I’ve had this fiction mostly as scattered notes in my google drive, and only recently had enough time to actually put it together, like I promised lightning back in January. (Writer’s block and schoolwork do not mix well.) The cover is not owned by me, I found the image on google images. Anyway, I’ll be back yesterday… or was that tomorrow? (I really need to get that damn causality generator fixed, me-damnit!) See ya!
