Dear Reaper,

I would first like to congratulate you on your excellent work and praise your marvelous abilities. What has happened, of course I'm sure, you are already aware, is that my mother has left Earth. She died from an unexpected, yet well-deserved death, along with her stupid sister who "couldn't live without her". Fools the both of them are. They both got what they deserved for leaving my father in such a state... Anyway, I thought I might tell you what pleasant set of events preceded her coming to you.

It is a bit of a long story so I hope you do not mind it too much. I know this story by heart as my father recalls it often. It all started when my father, Emery, was just nine years old...

"Emery! Come downstairs-we want you to meet someone!", his mother called from the living room.

Curious to see who had come, Emery dashed down the stairs, leaving behind the superhero action figures he had been playing with before. Sitting in the living room with his mother and father sat a lady. She looked pretty young and had a huge smile on her face. He couldn't help but notice though that her smile didn't quite reach her eyes, as if she were hiding something.

His father was the first to break the awkward silence that had befallen the room,

"This is Tabitha-

-and she will be your new nanny," his mother finished abruptly.

I apologize for cutting the story short but I must go to sleep as a terrible headache has come over me. I shall do my best to finish tomorrow.
