Yamato goes back to the underground arena. The place was just as lively as ever. Yamato looks at an envelope that he had in his hand. It was filled with money, money that he was slowly saving up for his wife to get help. He didn’t want to bet this money but if he was to come up with the cash needed to keep his promise he had to risk it.
“Makida-san, what are you doing here?”
“I decided I wasn’t done for the week.”
“But what about your injuries from Man Eater, are you fully healed?”
“Yeah, besides you know something like that would never keep me back.”
“And Junko? How does she feel about all this?”
“… Junko is fine… actually can I ask you a favor?”
“Sure man, what’s up?”
“I need to borrow some cash. I’m going to bet on me tonight and if I win, I can finally get Junko the help she needs.”
Shimada pulls out a huge wad of cash and hands it to Yamato.
“Here are half the winnings I got tonight. Go help your wife man.”
“Thanks Ryzou-san I promise to pay you back.”
“Makida-san… don’t make it easy on them this time. Unleash that hell beast in you tonight.”
Yamato give Shimada a nodded and heads to the betting booth.
…
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to tonight’s event. Now appearing two times in one week, our very own demon of the Uzumaki City underground, Yamato X Makida!”
The crowd roars at the entering of Yamato in the cage. He raises a hand to the people and looks ahead to see who his opponent will be.
Enters a guy who was just about the same build as Yamato. His skin was an icy pale and his eyes were sunken in and glazed over. He had no hair and a tattoo a top his head of a devil.

“And his opponent, the Uzumaki City undergrounds champion, he hails from the very pits of hell, the embodiment of evil itself, Beelzebub!!!”
Yamato gets in his low fighting stance and readies himself for the match to start. Beelzebub however just stands there Yamato tries not to let this bother him.
The bell rings and in the blink of an eye, Beelzebub covers the entire distance of the ring and is now in Yamato’s face. Yamato jumps back but his quickly grabbed by his waist and thrown to the other side of the ring.
“That strength is unreal.”
Beelzebub gives Yamato an uneasy smile and crouches low. He propels himself towards Yamato. Yamato couldn’t react, he tried but his ribs and abdomen was still injured from the night before. Beelzebub strikes Yamato’s abdomen with enough force to lift him off his feet and fold him once he hit the ground. Yamato started to cough up blood.
This was total bullshit he thought. He had put all his money into this match, all the money he was saving up to help his wife, and here he was about to lose it all.
Rage began to build up in his entire body. The heat of frustration was enough to make him ignore the pain in his abdomen and ribs. Yamato stood up and looks at the gloating Beelzebub with eyes as hot as the embers of hell. Beelzebub turns around and gets low again.
The world is quiet, the crowd and everything around him is now moving in slow motion. Beelzebub’s dash this time was seen with ease. Every second was seen, and Yamato knew exactly what he was going to do.
Once Beelzebub was close, Yamato grabs his left arm and pulls it above his head. Yamato deliver’s a flurry of blows to Beelzebub’s face, each one slowly disfiguring his appearance. Yamato then jumps as hard as he could bring Beelzebub with him. Yamato twists his body back and deliver’s a kick to Beelzebub’s jaw making him go higher in the air. Yamato his now on the ground and positions himself to give the final blow. Beelzebub falls fast and once at the right, Yamato gives him the hardest punch to his face he had ever given anyone. The force was enough to make the entire arena go quiet, even the announcer was amazed at what just happened.

Yamato looks around at everyone. He stands there for a moment. Yamato then throws his fist in the air and the crowd goes wild.
“Th-The winner and new champion of the Uzumaki City underground is Yamato X Makida!!!!!!!”
…
Yamato opens the door to his home, smile glued to his face.
“Junko, I did it!”
There was no response.
“Junko babe, you up?”
Yamato goes into his bedroom and what he sees brings him to his knees.
Junko is laying on the bed, her skin paler than ever. She was foaming at the mouth and her eyes were rolled into the back of her head. By the bed there is a bottle of medicine and a bottle of liquor. Yamato staggers to his wife and takes her into his arms. He looks over to see a note on the pillow.
“Yamato my love, I am truly sorry. You always put yourself through pain for me even though I was not worth it. When you come home beaten to near death it tears me up inside to a point that makes me hate myself. I already know you won your fight, you always do, so I want you take the money and start a new life, a life without a drug addict. I will always love you this life and in the next. -Love, Junko.”
Yamato lays his wife down and puts a blanket over her. He takes the bottle of medicine and liquor. Yamato finishes the both and lays down next to his wife. Yamato slowly closes his eyes and accepts his new fate.
