To the people of the Ancient World,

At one time the Earth was populated with nothing but corpses and fearsome Beasts.

From the ashes of our forefather’s devastation arose a calamity far greater--Corruption. An infection with unknown origin and little answers still. Mythics say it was a curse from ancient gods. But how can you blame them, seeing the creatures it made of us.

Some argue that Corruption is the next step in our evolution, to harness the disease and the abilities it gives with the early stages. But with its promise of horrific and violent mutation, how can this be progress? Was mankind fated to become diseased from the beginning? Surely not. We are but a young species yet.

So to those who continue self-infection, I must ask you this, why encourage our own extinction? Is it not better to let it all die out? Surrender your traditions and your hostile world. Come and rest here where you can heal, a cold and gentle place, so that together we can make our motherland a home for all again.
