《Era of Creation》The Bastion

Kali, Wisp, and Zero started out towards the dungeon promptly called The Bastion, the description read as follows, clear out the halls of malice, and break open the first door, the rest is up to you. “Hmmm, this isn’t very descriptive.” “What do you mean Ma’am?” “Well it’s just all we have to do is enter the dungeon clear this one hall break a door and the rest is up to us. I mean this just doesn’t feel like a challenge to our skill.” “Well when you look at it they are just telling us to explore really. All we have to do is come back alive really.” “That shouldn’t be too hard.” Zero said smirking,
“Yeah well remember I can’t resurrect you once you die.” “Yeah I know. I would rather not have to die again too many bad memories.” The three traveled half a day until they were faced with a giant mountain side with a somewhat large cave. “How much you wanna bet this is the place Wisp?” “Nothing cause it is.” “Damn you no fun.” “Alright you two ready up.” Wisp floated up above kali and Zero’s heads and casted shadow step to muffle their movements. Zero reached through her gate and pulled out dicer, her modified shuriken. Last up was Kali who raised her staff and casted clear mind on the group so they could see in the dark and the light. “Alright lets move.”
The three moved in unison of each other having Zero in front Kali in the middle and Wisp behind and over kali. Entering the first room something seemed off, the smell of the dead was vast, seemingly all around them. “Hey look at this” Wisp said as she flew down to a body, “Hmmm this body seems fresh still, there are wounds here and here. Looks like whatever killed this thing has serrated weapons and slashing style.” Zero looked closely at the wounds almost like she was mesmerized by the wounds. “Zero would you happen to know or remember anyone who would use weapons like this on creatures?” Zero turned to Wisp. “Hmm not that I remember, Harley used a wand, Sage used a staff, Ram was fond of lances and rom was a gunner.”

“What about Ziro?” “Ziro used her arm scythes to attach and pull in a target and I would usually kill said reeled in target. Her scythes were also sharp and hooked so it couldn’t be her since these wounds are serrated.” “Okay well then we are dealing with unknown then. Keep your voices down and continue on.” The three continued out of the room and almost instantly they found what appeared to be another dark monsters body with the same wounds. “Again?” “Yes it would seem so, well at least this is less work for us. Especially since these are the forces of the dark army.” Continuing down the path they entered a hall a long hallway, dark damp and vast. “Ahh!” “Gah!”
“YOU BASTARD!” Zero fell to the ground holding her head in agony. “Ah, this place, it hurts.” “Zero come here.” Kali knelt beside Zero holding her, “Are you alright is something wrong?” “This place, it reminds me of, the sewer.” Kali and Wisp looked at each other, Zero fell over because of the sewers. “So your having flashbacks to that last mission then?” “It’s…so similar, the darkness, damp conditions and long hallway.” “It’s just a memory recall it’s nothing lets move on please.” “Okay then let us know if anything else happens okay?” “Okay.” Traveling down the dark hall Wisp noticed giant slashes along the wall, blood splatters and signs of extreme danger.
“Huh that’s strange.” “What is it Ma’am?” “The door, it’s already broken down see.” Kali pointed toward the broken door that looked like it fell over, it had seemingly been pulled off its socket. “Hmm then the unknown individual is still here then. Maybe at this point their friendly, I mean all the bodies are those dark soldiers from Veksis’s army so maybe they are friendly.” “While that could be a possibility Ma’am, I would still stay sharp-“ “WOAH! Look look!” Zero reached into a pot and pulled out a necklace and a few gold coins. “GOLD COINS! These are worth a hundred silver coins! And this necklace is so pretty!” Zero opened her gate and tossed the items in.

“Ours now haha!” “Well look at this whoever is infront of us isn’t here for looting that’s for sure.” “Ugh Zero you get to easily distracted in caves.” “Relax all were doing is walking over the dead so we might as well take the loot!” “Zero’s right we could use anything we find as money or safety nets.” “Seeeeee even Master agrees.” “Its been several months and I still can’t listen to you calling her Master. It’s weird” “She said I could so I am hehe.” *RAAAAAA* *SHINK* *TINK TINK* *GAH* “What was that!” Zero spouted out.
“Maybe it’s the person in front of us?” said Wisp. “Only one way to find out I guess.” Wisp nodded “Shadow step.” The three moved forward towards a door opening when suddenly a dark soldier ran out the door. *RAA YOU WILL ALL DIE IN THE NAME OF LORD VEK-* Something appeared to grab the soldier, *SIS?* The solider was suddenly pulled back to the room. *SLICE* *GAHH*. *grunt, grunt* a distorted voice was heard from up ahead. *SLICE, SLICE, RIIIIIIP*
“GOD, these things just don’t stop coming, crap another” “HAH” “Nows our chance lets go an meet whoever this is.” The three walked through the door noticing the ripped open dark solider and up ahead was the person who had been clearing the bastion all by themselves. *SLASH. SLASH, SLASH, SLASH, SLA* Suddenly stopping the person called out without looking. “Your not dark ones. Who are you three? Answer or die by my hands!” Urgently Kali stood forward and called out, We are The maidens of Myra! My name is Kali the novice holy priest. Above me is Wisp my guardian sent from Myra herself, and next to me is Zero our damage dealer!”
“A holy priest? A guardian and a damager?” “That’s a relief.” The person put the weapons on their back. The stranger was wearing a mask distorting their voice, and wearing a dark hood. “Glad to meet you three, the names-“ (Wait a minute those weapons, look familiar) “WAIT!” Zero cried out in shock, the stranger paused. “Where…did you get those weapons? Those don’t belong to you.” “Zero hold on,” “Shut it Kali!” Kali stepped back from Zero’s words. “ANSWER ME! Those weapons are Ziro’s scythes!” “Wait, wait you must be mistaken!” “YOU THEIF!”
Zero charged at the stranger with Dicer and jumped with the intent to kill. In defense the stranger pulled out the scythes and blocked the attack. Jumping back gasping the stranger threw the scythes at Zero who deflected the attacks with ease. “You don’t even know how to use them! And Zi would never give her weapons away! You ether killed her or stole them!” “You don’t understand I-“ “SILENECE! Zi was such a sweet and caring girl who took care of me and my friends, and I left her because of the damn law!” “Now I see this!” “No need to explain.” Zero pounced into the shadows and striked at the strangermissing and blowing a giant hole in the ground *SMASH!*
“Just stand still!” “As you wish.” The stranger stood still holding the scythes, (Really? Oh well.) “DIE!” Zero pounced at the stranger who suddenly dropped the scythes pushing away dicer and held Zero tight. “Huh? Let go of me!” The stranger held and held and held Zero tightly, “Uh Hey stranger what are you doing?” Kali asked with a confused faced. The stranger looked towards kali then Wisp and finally at Zero. “Zero, your one smart but dumb girl.” “Wait” Zero stopped struggling and calmly looked at the stranger who released and stepped back a little away from Zero. “I recognized you the second you came into range.” The stranger stepped back pulling off the voice modifier mask and looked at Zero. “Hi love it’s been a long time Z.”

“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.

The daily Litrpg journal of a fairly average 46 year old man in a world where hundreds of thousands of people suddenly have a super power.Follow him as he learns skills, runs away a lot, suffers crippling headaches, avoids reading his titles, and tries to avoid breaking his body that didn't get enough calcium and vegetables.[Disclaimer 1: Despite the following, I will fix any typos pointed out. This is a writing exercise so chapters are mostly first drafts, otherwise I'd end up rewriting each chapter for a month or more with no real changes. My goals are a steady output by not using perfectionism as a procrastination method. I've already got laziness and additions to reading/games, I don't need a 3rd reason to procrastinate.][Disclaimer 2: The main character is a more normalized version of me, with 170% less laziness installed, and a few buffs like greater courage. Other things like having a job are partially similar. No other characters are based on real people because most people I know are either too normal to be useful or too fucked in the head to be believable.]
