By the time we got back to the castle town, it was already noon. We headed straight for the throne room.

"Ah, if it isn't the three heroes. You know, the people of the eastern kingdom thank you for your bravery."

So everybody ended up living? No wonder the senator looked so pleased with himself.

"Now let's clear the elephant in the room, shall we?"

"What? The elephant in the room?"

"Huh? What's with that reaction?"

Everybody was looking at me as if I was a villain.

"Ender, what were you doing in the fight?"

"Wahhhhh!"

"I was fighting with Rudolf and Akira in the frontlines."

"Rudolf, any confirmation about that?"

"Yes, Senator! Ender was with us in the frontlines, then retreated to defend the kingdom"

"Okay I get the point, my problem is that ender's teammates were fighting without their leader."

"What!"

"Senator, I was searching for them but did not find them"

"Silence Summoner hero!"

"This mission is supposed to be teamwork-based, and our plan was to team up with the other heroes, you have disregarded that plan I made and ended up letting monsters enter the kingdom!"

I have no excuse to say no to what the senator said, it is true that I did not wait for my team and abandoning them, just to fight the wave with the others.

"Yes, I have no excuse for that senator."

"Okay now we move on to the rewards of your courage, you will be each given 5000 gold for your bravery."

"Nice I can finally eat good food"

Rudolf shouted with glee

"I guess I can buy, more equipment for myself."

Akira said that with a straight face in front of everyone in the room.

"As for you Ender, you will not get a reward because of the lack of teamwork and damage you have done to the kingdom."

"Wait Senator, Ender must be rewarded with something! He helped defend the kingdom while we were fighting in the frontlines, he must be appreciated with something."

Rudolf defended me, I was grateful even though I had so many mistakes, he is the embodiment of a true warrior and hero.

"Hmmm... Akira any objections with Rudolf's choice?"

"No, it is true that he did help defend the kingdom, even though he is useless he needs a reward."

"Alright then! I will give Ender half of the money 3000 gold"

I felt a sense of relief that the other heroes helped me when I thought all is lost for me.

"Thank you, Senator!"

"Heroes, you are dismissed from the throne room!"

After leaving the throne room the three of us headed away and spend some money, since I thought that I can't get any money I have not yet decided what to spend it on.

"Summoner hero!"

"My team called me."

"Sorry for getting you into trouble hero, we promise not to leave you again."

"Okay, I am also sorry for leaving you all alone on the battlefield."

"So what do you guys want?"

"Actually our armor was damaged in the battle, do you mind buying us?"

"Okay no big deal, let's go to the blacksmith."

We headed straight to the blacksmith and made my team pick out the armor that they like, the armor they got were pricey, costing 2000 gold.

"Okay you all got your armor now, everyone good?"

"Yes thank you Summoner hero!"

"It's already really late, let's go out on a fancy meal for our victory."

We then headed to the place where my team said that the food is really good, and we ate the large course fancy meal costing 1000 gold but it was worth the money for good food, we headed out of the inn so full and ready to take the hay.

"Summoner hero!"

"Yes?"

"The team wanted to go to the woods to get experience and to burn off what we ate, is it okay for you?"

Since my team wanted to go to the woods, I have no choice since I also had a huge debt to them in a form of leaving them behind, so I guess it would be bad not to go with them."

"Fine, I also want to level up a bit before going to bed."

"Thank you, summoner hero."

So we all headed for the woods and got to the riverside of the woods to rest and level up since there were lots of creatures roaming by the river at night.

"Were here, so let's get to leveling up."

Male voice 1: "Hmmm... your defense is weak as usual, no wonder why you are the burden of the heroes."

"What do you mean!?"

Female voice 1: "Listen, useless hero, this is what you get for leaving us on the battlefield alone!"

Female voice 2: "you really are the most useless hero in the whole 4 kingdoms, you can't even defend yourself!"

"W-What are you talking about, I am strong!"

"Summon dark wolves!"

"What I-I can't cast my spells! My mana is full what is happening?"

female voice 2: I used magic to prevent you from using your summons, useless hero! HAHAHAHA!!!"

"Why!"

Male voice 1: "So you want to know why?"

Male voice 2: "Very well let's start from the beginning, long ago the summoner hero was regarded the burden of the eastern kingdom and the most useless one, the past summoner heroes have been killed by the wave because of their lack of use and experience, you're just like the past useless heroes but much worse than them!"

Female voice 1: "Before you die from blood loss, do you know why your summons dies so quickly in the battle!"

"W-Why"

Male voice 1: "WE, we killed your summons to make you sound useless, the senator ordered us to kill them and kill you to make the kingdom better! And because of your stupid kindness look what happened now about to die by your teammates, how do like that for leaving us useless hero."

After hearing those words my heart and mind had nothing to say other than to get them back one day, rage and sorrow flowed through my heart, and wanting to kill them.

"Damn you all!"

Female voice 2: "you can't just die quickly, let me make it quicker!

Female voice 2: "Fire hurricane"

"AAARRRGGGHHHH!"

Male voice 1: "Hmmm... This last thrust should kill you."

At that moment I was ready to die and give up, I have accepted my fate as I thought about what they said filled with rage, I was unconscious.

Male voice 1: "W-What the supreme dragon!? Shit, let's run!"

Female voice 2: "Let's just blame it on the dragon the summoner hero died."

"Hero you will meet the next dawn, stay strong!"
