《Apocalypse is just the beginning》Chapter 1

In a room illuminated by white light, the teacher opened a book.
"Our lesson is the beginning of the apocalypse, children. When our world was integrated into the multiverse in 2065, the whole reality for the world and its inhabitants changed. The Earth ceased to be a whole and merged with about 80 different types of planets to form a different planetary layer. With the participation of the known physics rules in the multiverse, it was completely has changed. Things that could have been just imaginary before, unfortunately, have now become "Facts". Due to many different life forms and emerging supernatural powers, law and order were broken. When the world population decreased from 12 billion to 500 million, the United Nations launched the bunker program. And Now we are trying to survive many kilometers below the ground.”
Meanwhile, a student raised his hand and asked for a word.
"Teacher, can't we get to the surface anymore?"
The teacher smiled at the student's naive question.
“On the contrary, thanks to our scientific studies over many years, we now have a basic knowledge and technology on “GAIA”, the substance we call the source of these supernatural powers. Simple gaia cores can now be produced in bunkers. With our suicide soldiers created with clone machines,we are now able to get to the earth at regular intervals and obtain the necessary materials to ensure the continuation of our generation”.
Meanwhile, two scientists in white coats were talking about their next actions in a huge, rectangular room with no windows around 200 meters diameters. There were 50 clone pots that are about 3 meters in size in the room.
"Professor Adam, this time our batch clone troopers are ready to be awakened. At your command, we can call the backup team and get the soldiers out of the incubator".
A tall, fit-looking, middle-aged man with blond hair and white skin walked in front of a certain pot. The pots were made of metal on 3 sides, but the upper part was covered with a light-transparent glass material. There was uneasiness in the eyes of the professor as he looked at the pot.
It was as if he was hesitant to make a decision .Something was bothering him.
"Professor?"
"Oh sorry."
The professor turned to the glasses-wearing research assistant and ordered, "Let's start the proceedings."
About 20 research assistants came and started the process of opening the incubators.
Strath opened his eyes in the dimly blue-lit room filled with cables and strange coffin-like objects.A female research assistant was standing in front of him, giving various instructions and trying to get him out of the incubator.
Strath looked around and saw people like himself emerging from the incubators naked. He quickly came to a simple idea that what was going on in his head was.The life he lived was actually not real, and it actually wasn't hard for him to believe it. He always had his doubts and had doubted many times that his life was a simulation. But now he was sure of it.

When all the soldiers came to their senses, they were taken to a room made of metal and illuminated blueish-white light. In fact, the bunkers consisted of chamber systems and corridors connecting them, generally made of metal-like material, except for the main city.lt was almost like a normal big city in open area except that there weren't any sky on it.
A young brunette research assistant opened a hologram-like system and started giving information to the soldiers in general terms.Like what happened in past and what was nowadays.
The Soldiers sometimes burst into tears and smile at very rare times. In general, short notes were shared about the apocalypse and the end of the era humanity lived in.And merge that happened with other universes.
Suicide soldiers were generally people who lived a normal life in simulation. With normal means they lived in a time before the apocalypse.
Turning to the soldiers;"As you know, all of you were successful soldiers in your life in simulation. The simulation has arranged your life in such a way that you all ended your lives with the wish to be born only one more time at the end of your life. Here is your chance to start again. You are all the most elite soldiers that can be produced. According to the benefits you make for the bunkler, you may be able to get normal citizenship and your own name.”
The bunker had named them with just a code.Strath was shocked by that. But most importantly He wasn't a soldier in the simulation, and while watching the other suicide soldiers he could sense that he was completely different from them.
“Code name means that we are just a objects to them.It looks like they set up the facility like a production line in a car factory. All this saving humanity propaganda is horribly similar to the bullshits I've seen in the simulation.Well,I still like the apocalypse. At least nobody is going to throw me back in jail.Hah,Do you expect me to sacrifice my life to saving humanity while you are calling me by a code name? Maybe I'll never be mentioned even if l die as a hero in this place.Worlds are always same wherever l go…”
At this time, Strath noticed a blue-eyed blond clon girl was staring at him. The woman's physique was slightly muscular, fit, and with curvy body lines .The woman looked at Strath and wore a cold smile.
“Did she sense that I was from a different simulation? or what to-”
“Hey!”
Strath turned his head and saw a tall, muscular, hawk-like bald man.
"I'm Bernard. I think we're down the rabbit hole, what do you say, mate?"
Bernard Cordial came over to Strath with a smile and began the conversation.

"Certainly Bernard. But I guess we're all thankful for a second life?"
Strath was trying to talk to Bernard about as general matters as possible without revealing much about his past.
“Everyone, gather, we're going to the Gaia Core room.”
At the warning of the research assistant, the group was directed to the next room. At this time, Bernard gave the blonde-haired woman a serious look. Despite the fact that the soldiers had spent their entire lives in an incubator, they had already started to make different plans in their minds as soon as they came out.
Suicide Soldiers apparently looked like more than just a simple clone production as mentioned. The soldiers were not just white, but many human races.
Strath had the impression that the genetics of the clones were also not from simple human DNA, but probably from the DNA of important people.
“None of them are simple people. They have an unnoticeable aura.”
Researcher brought the soldiers to the room where there was a glass bowl covered with water in the middle.
Black ball-like objects in a round shape were floating on the device with curved glass.
Researcher turning to the soldiers;
“This room you see is the Gaia Core room. The Gaia Cores are the physical manifestation of the Gaia energy that has entered our lives with the apocalypse. You can control superpowers with the Gaia Core. All living things in the new world can use Gaia Cores, only special people can use them as needed. Gaia The use of cores creates a high degree of psychological and physical load on the person. However, the soldiers in the Suicide Soldiers program can use gaia essence much more efficiently than normal people, since it has the highest compatibility with gaia energy. Everyone will get gaia core sets for themselves in turn.”
Two assistants were talking to each other while watching the soldiers.
”How do they accept everything that is going on as normal? Their demeanor and actions make me shudder.”
“their mentality is trained differently from normal humans in simulation. If they didn't have these traits, they wouldn't have survived even 1 minute outside. But you're still right. They give me chills, too. “
All the soldiers went to the respective platform and started to take the gaia cores. Gaia cores went into their bodies as they touched their skin and disappeared. These cores were settling in a metaphysical compartment that humans had after apocalypse that is called the nucleus. Within humans, this region was inside their brains.
Strath came to the platform. There was a set of 3 gaia core. The bunker produced this core set with its own methods. The set was consisting of 3 parts. Black x5 strength core: offers exactly 500 kg of muscle contraction.
Black x5 speed core: it adds to the running and movement speed of the human. With this core, a human can run at 50 km per hour.
and the 3rd core. Only this core, unlike the others, was the core that could be consumed for 1 time. It was combining all the bones and the tendons attached to them with a material called Black metal. Since this core was used, people were in unbelievable pain during the change. 50% mortality rate when a normal human used it as a strath. When the first 2 cores went inside Strath,he noticed a small chamber in his brain. There was a round white transparent ball and a clear white shimmering water inside. The cores entered the core and began to take root there. Strath could feel his strength multiplying. These gaia cores were absorbing a very low amount of nuclear water, but the regeneration rate of the nuclear water was much higher when looking at consumption. In short, they were a type of core whose continuous use would not pose a problem.
In his instructions, the officer told everyone to take the 3rd core at the same time and focus only on themselves.
All the soldiers chose a place and sat down and began to prepare themselves.
The officer turned;
“You were all elite soldiers in the simulation. You were trained to face all challenges. I believe you will all successfully absorb the Gaia endurance core. Everyone get ready. It will start in 1 minute.”
The officer expect for the soldiers to worry but only saw excitement in their eyes.he just shook his head.
"They're not human," he thought.
As the officer's words echoed through the simple metal room, Strath recalled the past.
In the room with a glass window,Strath was tied to a table by his arms and legs. On the other side of the glass was a group of people watching him.
The Governor in the suit turned to Strath.
“Strath Lucious, you sir are the most cruel and inhumane creature I have ever seen. For all the crimes you have committed against humanity, this day will be the last day you will ever live. I hope you will be forgiven for the sins you have committed in hell. Do you have any last words?”
Strath looked up into the glass pane and smiled.
"I'll be there in ten minutes."

Cateline Bennett, a princess consumed with ice, found herself lost in a foreign kingdom with nothing but her wits to survive. As she explores this unknown land, she unravels her past and discovers that the magic she had concealed for so long could unleash chaos so intense, it could destroy the world as she knew it. NOTE: A review on this fiction has indicated that certain themes were traumatizing. While I believe this to be exagerated, I have added the appropriate tag for those who may be sensitive to those themes (fever dreams, delusions, and trials and tribulations).

How I learned to stop worrying and solve my problems with demons until demons stopped solving my problems. - A snarky villain and her heroic nemesis blow themselves up and land on a fantasy world. They find themselves faced with two prospects: learn to cooperate and respect someone they've fought against for years, or be swept away by the powers that be. Because Pride always comes before the fall.
8 329The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.

Long casted shadows danced in the background, as a man squibbled and jotted words on yellow papers. A mere novelty, remnant and ghost that was left to age away along with the forgotten theater, a man grasped for inspiration to salvage what was left of his soul. Abandoned in the squalid room, Pxan was left hauntedly in the furthest corners of insanity that bubbled in his mind. No one would listen to his plight, denouncing him and claiming his mind was not right. Even though the world left him with nothing, turning their backs to him, he knew the books would never betray him in the same fashion. Faceless pages and books yet to be read ogled puppy eyes, ready to be penned by the madman. “Pxan! Pxan! Over here! To me!” Clamored the unpublished manuscripts. Pxan’s fingers quivered nervously, thoughts of failure flooded his mind. Wanting to surrender to the pressure. “No!” He cried. “I’ve had enough of writing.” Books with eyes all stared at him, begging for the tales to be written. Their pleaful eyes were all that Pxan needed to be moved to writing again. The man sighed and raised his pen again, stroking the first letters of inspiration that bore fruit from his mind. A maddening tale of a policeman, cultists and a violent revenge… -Currently on Hiatus while writing the second volume. The first volume is up. I will take a few days to rewrite a few chapters.
