《Emperor's Journey》12.Cry of Thunder I

The very scenery that Livius and the imposter encountered was full of cracks. One might wonder if he was really in reality because it appeared that the tiny fabric of space got damaged.
At the midst of the ruin, two silhouete, silver and white were moving at the speed of sound as only myriad of shockwaves were emitted when either of them hit some certain area in the space.
"Not bad, Livi."
"More! More!"
The imposter complimented him while wiping the blood dripping from the left edge of his lips. Instead of showing any sign of irritation, somehow the bloodthirsty nature began emerging from him.
"Hu-"
Before he could realise, the real Livius emerged from behind him when the former let his guard down for a moment. The geniune one launched a punch onto the mimicker.
"What the-"
However, an unexpected turn of event jumped into the fighting scene. Before the punch could land its blow onto the mimicker, the alternate Livius managed to cancel the strike by countering it with his own.
As soon the geniune body hit the ground, a huge crater was formed while the nearby buildings collapsed, burying the youth in the crater.
"Already?"
'He shouldn't be this weak.'
'Last time I fought him, this world was nearly getting destroy.'
'Something's not right.'
"Eh?!"
The red Livius was watching the rubble, making sure that he truly win when something slapped him with an intense amount of force. The slap had sent him to "kiss" the ground.
"Who?!"
The imposter soon realised when he stood up that he had just unleashed a terrifying beast which had been chained in this world for years. The beast which none could contend, the very darkness that had been sleeping in this world.
'Not him!'

Darkness soon dispersed revealing the very same figure that was currently running amok in the real world. His expression sunk because he knew that the possibly of him winning was less than one percent.
'I guess there's no choice!'
The second Livius was cornered and could not help but to curse his most vital mistake but what's done is done. Without further ado, his left hand raised to the sky.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning came down and struck onto him especially his waist. The lightning soon took a form as the bright light was molding the shape.
RAIJIN DRIVER
A belt magically materialised itself on his waist and judging from its design, it possessed probably the same feature as Chrome Driver.
READY
"Hen…shin!"
Instead of tap function like its Chrome counterpart, it automatically announced the "READY" voice, indicating that the belt was already on stand by mode without the need to unlock it.
THOR
DESCEND
Thunderclouds gathered above the mimicker as lightnings appeared one after another. A set of purple armor descended onto the world before attached itself onto the warrior. The armor was emitting the spark of electricity.
"The Thor armor. Something I wish to forget ended up saving me again."
It was rather ironic because he hated the armor for what it had done to him yet it was the one which saved him from death many times.
'Demon! I'll kill you!'
"MJOLNIR!"
Then, a thunderous roar had announced the descending of a medium size hammer onto the ground.
****
There was a thunderous roar in the sky as lightnings were visible to the eyes of the earthling. Every nations of the Earth got affected by it whether it was minor or major.
The western families and eastern clans watched the storm from their respective countries as the topic was getting hotter each passing moments.

Each of the leaders was getting anxious when the sight of the crimson lightning began taking over the sky from their white counterpart.
The five major families of the western part were the William, Destronos, Hawkin, Boston and Vincent which reign since before the SAD incident.
Meanwhile, the SIL headquarter was getting busier as the event took place. The upper echelon were uneasy since it was the first time this incident had since the birth of the paranormals.
"What the hell is going?!"
"System couldn't detect the problem."
"Then, what're you all waiting for?!"
"Get me result now!"
""Yes, sir!""
One of the upper echelon was annoyed the fact that this incident had reminded humanity that a great calamity will come and if they overlooked this then it will be over for the species.
'I've to figure out something.'
'Last time, nearly half of the population got wiped out by the invaders. Thanks to Zero, we're save otherwise we're all doom.'
When the male paranormal fell onto the floor, the nearby staffs nearly panicked but one of them immediately took him to the infirmary. Many of the paranormals suddenly fainted when the incident took place.
The infirmary soon packed with the paranormals. Medics were running back and forth from the infirmary to the storage area and vice-versa.
****
Julies had his jaw dropped upon witnessing Thor fighting against the beast. He would had never thought that he would witness the legendary god of thunder, himself in action.
'It is him. Thor of the Asgard.'
Legend tells that Thor fought with a mysterious invader of Asgard. The battle took place somewhere outside of the Yggdrasil. The result remained a mystery till this day.
The news of Thor went missing had caused an uproar among the Asgardians especially the upper echelons.
'But how?'
'How's it possible?'
Some Asgardian historian suggested that Thor had won the battle. Others assumed he fell in the battle because the Mjolnir appeared to be ownerless but would strike anyone who dared to wield it.
The way the hammer reacted when strangers tried to hold it will only end up in two scenarios which they either end up dead in crispy state or suffer a lifetime in paralyse state.
Fearing the life of his people, the All-father sealed the hammer in the Helheim, hoping that no one would even dare to retrieve the thundering hammer which an unexpected event took place centuries later.

Gaia Ark
Commander Coop, a four-armed, power-armored, super-soldier, undertakes a mission to assassinate the head of a religious cult bent on destroying the UPSF and everyone they protect. But no mission is ever that simple. GAIA ARK is an action adventure hero's journey featuring a cranky cyborg, vampiric sword, alien monsters, and enough self-discovery to provide a character arc. It's a little rough around the edges, a little crude. I started writing this story on November 2, 2018. This story is mid-composition. Please expect clunky prose, notes [in brackets], and incomplete...

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
