When we started to see the ceremony ground, to our surprise, both SaberTooth and WatchDog are there. They are trying to continue the ceremony. Are they thinking we won’t return? Or are they thinking we won’t make it because of that “FUSION MOK” of Trigger? I don’t know to what extend of the battle WatchDog managed to witness. But according to his action to let SaberTooth continue, he seems too overconfident.

“Guys stop.” I commanded in a low voice. “Let’s ambush WatchDog. It would be difficult for him to defense if it is a surprise attack.”

“Okay. But be wary. Although he is blind, he can still see from his pet mok’s vision. We didn’t think too much of it at first. But during our battle, we got to know that, his pet mok is complementing for his weakness to an astonishing degree. That dog mok always stay at a certain distance away from him. It is always continuously monitoring his front, sides, back, above, every direction possible.” Rey told me.

“Take the dog mok out first” Brick said.

“That’s a great idea. If the dog mok is his eyes, if there is no dog mok, he would be blind for real. Okay, Let’s do this. You two serves as a distraction. I’ll sneak attack the dog mok while it is focusing your battle. How about it?” I said.

“Sound a good plan.” Rey said. Brick nodded.

Meanwhile, the poor SaberTooth is sitting weakly in the circle, at the place where he was standing before. He is reciting the prayers again. He thrust a dagger into the crow mok’s heart (a place where its heart is assumed to be). Then he continue.

According to the pattern, after he stab his left arm again, he would stab Larry or Black or even both of them in their heart.

But we can’t wait that long or we can’t afford to wait that long. This time, our first target is not him, but WatchDog and his pet mok.

“Now” at my command, Rey and Brick jumped out and started to fight WatchDog. Although unexpected, he was not as ignorant as the first time. He used soul fusion immediately again and started to fight back. His dog mok is not entering the battle. It even avoids the battle. It is staying at a certain distance away from the battle. But it is constantly monitoring. I quietly went behind it. It will take me some time to reach behind it since I have to go around the battle from the bushes so that the dog mok won’t see me.

Rey and Brick seems being suppressed. They are at a disadvantage. WatchDog is tougher as well as stronger. It is not that he is not hit. Both Rey and Brick’s attacks land on him. Although not a clean hit, fists, Legs, pointed bones, everything in their arsenal land on him. Just that aside from small cuts and slight injuries, there is nothing more.

But it is not the case for WatchDog. A full strength fist from him is enough to injure Rey and Brick to some degree. I’ve got to hurry but have to be careful as well.

Finally, I’ve reached the dog mok’s back. Even when I reach its back, the dog mok still does not notice me. It is focusing only on the battle. I quietly took out my pointed bone and stab it in the neck. Although it doesn’t go too deep, it was not a shallow injury as well.

The dog mok loses its concentration and growl in pain. It turns around and faces me while continuously growling. And then it started to walk backward slowly. But I won’t give it more chance. Before it can retreat, I jumped to it and tried to grab its neck with my hands. It tried to dodge me by side stepping. But unluckily for it, it was caught by my yellow monkey feet. Using my strong yellow monkey arms, I chocked it. Its voice become softer and softer and finally, it stopped growling. It is dead for sure.

When I look at Rey and Brick’s battle, they are not fairing as badly as before. If I join them, we might be able to catch or even kill WatchDog. But first, Black and Larry’s safety must be reassured. So, I rushed to SaberTooth. He is so injured that he couldn’t even flee talk less of fight back. He is just a brat after all. He is not even an adult yet. I easily tie him with a vine I’ve prepared. And I checked Black and Larry. Thankfully, both of them are still alive although they are unconscious.

Now, it is time to join the final fight. I quietly went to the battle side and searched for a good opportunity. After about 3 minutes, I found the opportunity I’m waiting for. At that moment, I am in squatting position. WatchDog has reached before me while dodging Rey and Brick’s attacks. Using my leg’s strength, I suddenly jumped up with a pointed bone in my hand aiming WatchDog’s left eye.

Although he cannot see, it looks like he could somehow feel that something is not right. So, he tried to dodge as well as chopped with his hand in the direction of my attack. That chop hits my wrist. Lucky for him, that’s what saved him from immediate death. But still his left eye was penetrated by the pointed bone. Just that the bone didn’t reach too deep.

He jumped back and ran to a certain distance. But he is no longer the invincible WatchDog anymore. He has really lost his eyes. He has got a serious injury. He would be defeated soon.

“You wanna ruin our ceremony? You wanna kill my partner? You wanna kill me? I’ll kill you all.” He yelled, “FUSION MOK”.

Just after his claim, a black light cocoon started to form around him. I started to feel ominous. A strong gale started to blow out of nowhere.

“Attack him. Don’t let him succeed.” I commanded. Actually, I don’t need to command at all. Rey and Brick are rushing to attack him.

When our attack were about to land on the black coccon, a dog mok appear before us and took all the damage and then it disintegrated into black particles that were sucked into the light cocoon. When I look at the place where I though the dead dog mok was supposed to be, I saw no dog mok. Was I tricked? The dog mok played dead? When we were about to strike again, the black cocoon disappear and a humanoid creature is revealed. That creature has the features of both a human and a dog.

It has human head, and dog’s mouse with fangs, the face of it resemble WatchDog a lot. Just that its whole body is covered in short fur. It has human body, dog’s four limbs and a tail. The four limbs are the size of a human’s four limbs. Moreover, that creature is not standing on its two feet but on four feet.

It’s pretty obvious that this humanoid creature is WatchDog after using the so called “FUSION MOK”.

It jumped forward and using its mouth, it tries to bites whatever is before it. I jumped aside hurriedly. I don’t want to get bitten by those jaws. To my surprise, a tree behind me was bitten and its trunk was broken by the jaw force. Wait! WatchDog wasn’t able to injure the nature before? Now what? Not only me but also Rey and Brick were shocked. We were so shocked that we stopped and stared at the broken trunk.

“Grwee, ……..” WatchDog growls. And sniffs. But it becomes more and more angry after sniffing for some time and its growls become louder and louder.

Is it still blind? And is it trying to smell us? I thought. Rey and Brick were about to attack WatchDog when I command them to stop. I picked a small stone and throw it to a distance.

“Grwee,…….” WatchDog growls and lunched forward to the direction I just threw the stone. I picked another three small stone and threw them in the former direction again but this time, to a further distance. WatchDog rushed there on his four legs without turning back.

When I’m certain that Watch is blind and he has no means to track us, I signal Rey and Black to slowly move and approach him without making a noise.

The WatchDog on four feet was standing sniffing the air at the place where the stone dropped.

“Now”, at my command, all three of us using our pointed bones, stabs him in different places. Rey and Brick in left and right eyes and me in the back(I mean a##hole).

I thought we got him. I thought even if we couldn’t kill him, we would be able to injure him to a certain degree. But it was not the case.

No pointed bone served its purpose. They did reache their destination. But they couldn’t breach WatchDog’s defence. His eyes weren’t penetrated by pointed bones. And that goes the same with his back(I mean a##hole).

It suddenly move its head in a swing and bites. Rey and Brick retracts their hand but Rey’s pointed bone was shattered by WatchDog’s jaws. WatchDog didn’t care about me who is at his back and continue to bite what is in front of him.

“Run” I shouted and run backward. Rey and Brick also turn back and run. WatchDog followed them. I was left behind. But Rey and Brick cannot outrun WatchDog anymore.

“Climb the trees” I shouted.

Hearing me, both Rey and Brick climbed the nearest tree. They got really lucky. WatchDog was about to catch up to them. Even a chunk of the trunk of the tree Brick climbed was bitten out by Watchdog.

“Now stay still” I shouted.

WatchDog looked at my direction. It tried to sniff again. And suddenly, it rushed to my direction. I also climbed the nearest tree. I’m glad that all three of us have the yellow monkey hand and feet. Or else, our survival chance would be lower.

A short while later, WatchDog reached where I was standing and shouting. It is sniffing. But according to what I’ve been observing, its sniffing doesn’t seem to work. What is working for it, is sound. For some time, WatchDog was not moving. It is just sitting and sniffing.

Suddenly, Brick climbed down the tree quietly. And then he picked up some small stones. Then, he threw it in the direction opposite to Larry and Black.

“Whee…..Dok” the stone was thrown with enough force to reach quite a far place and hit a tree. When WatchDog hears the sound, it runs in that direction. Without a need to talk anything, both me and Rey climbed down the tree quietly and moved quietly to where Black and Larry is.

It took us as much as three times longer than necessary to reach to the ceremony ground. Brick and Rey carried Black and Larry and carefully moved to where old man Bark and 5 men are waiting. Of course I was carrying the captured SaberTooth.
