《His Adventure In The Soul World》Chapter 4 : Pointed Arm Bone

It was only in the evening that I wake up. We are lucky to be in the small cave that no monkeymok can see. They live only on the tree branches. Besides, I think we are in the monkeys' territory as
I don't find any mok than monkey. "Gruee ....." As soon as I wake up, my stomach informs me that it needs food. Brick woke up soon after I woke up. Bearing the hunger, we waited in the cave till the moon comes out.
Tonight, the monkey-moks are obviously late to sleep. It's only midnight that the monkey-mok we are targeting fall asleep. We waited till it fall asleep deeply. Only then, we do as planned. We take more caution than yesterday. Very slowly and quietly, we climbed the tree. When we reach its back, I take the choking position when Brick try to tie its hands, feet and neck. Luckily, the monkey didn't wake up when it is tied. Then, we pull the vine to choke the monkey-mok. It wakes up suddenly and find itself being choked by a vine. It tries to struggle free. We also have to put more effort with only two men. Finally, the monkey-mok faints. Brick and I take turn to penetrate the eyes of the monkey with a pointed stick we found.
After about 5 minutes, the monkey-mok dies. We take its body to the cave back since we are too hungry. At first, we thought we would find some of the mango on the ground since we are in the mango park. But who knows not even a small mango is found. I think the monkey-moks eat them all or store them as ration. When we reach the cave, we bites the chunks of monkey in turn. It's a little bit gross that we are eating it raw. But we don't have anything to make fire and even if we have it, we can't alarm the other monkey-moks.
While biting the chunks of the monkey, I suddenly got an idea. Although we can't do a thing to the trees and the land of this soul world, we can do everything to the beasts of this world, the moks.
I can use the bone of this dead monkey-mok to make a hard pointed thing. So, I feed my belly full and take the arm bone of the dead monkey-mok. Then I started to sharpen it by rubbing it against the stone-wall. Brick also did the same as me. It takes about 3 hours before our pointed arm bone are sharp enough to perform a stab into the eye.

We immediately started our hunt again since it will be dawn soon. It's become easier to kill the monkey-mok with the help of the pointed bone. After we kill the fifth one, Brick got his soul. He
was very happy. But I dare not let shout happily or change since the light and the scream would attract the group of angry monkey-moks. By the time we've killed our eight victim, the eastern sky become red. Soon the monkeys are going to wake up. We collect the monkey-moks' corpse and place them in the cave we are currently staying. I hope I would get my first soul by tomorrow before the corpse become stinky. After having monkey-mok meat, both Brick and me fell asleep.
In the evening, we wake up and have our monkey-mok meat meal. While waiting for the darkness, Brick perform soul fusion. The soul fusion is the process the soul master uses the soul he has to fuse into his body and make changes or transformation; like Anon did.
His body shines in a yellow light, the color of the monkey-mok, and the light form a cocoon covering his body. The light is bright enough to alarm the monkey-moks in the night but not in the day.
When the light dies down, Brick's hands and feet become that of the monkey-moks'. But it is unfortunate that he can't do testing in the cave. He will have to wait until the night comes. But he was testing what he can. Using his feet like a hand to grab his pointed arm bone, performing stabbing,
tying the corpses with the vine, etc.
But when about an hour later, he suddenly becomes a yellow cocoon and he becomes himself again.
"I can't keep the fusion state forever. It seems like I won't be able to fuse with my monkeymok soul sooner" he regretted that he didn't use that staete in hunting the monkey-moks.
"Don't be sad Brick. At least, you get to know the weakness of your mok-soul. You won't suddenly run out of the fusion state in the battle."
When the moonlight shines on the park, we came out of the cave holding a pointed bone each, and the vine as well. But tonight, the monkey-moks are too active. Even at midnight, they are not sleeping yet. We were watching from the darkness for a long time and did not find a single chance.

Moreover, the monkeys are not sleeping alone anymore. I find at least two monkey-moks every time.
So, looking for a chance, we venture into the deeper part of the mango park. On the way, we still found no chance. Some of the monkey-moks have fallen asleep but not alone. Not knowingly, we
have reached near the biggest mango tree.
Strangely, there is only one monkey-mok on that big tree. And no monkey is seen in the vicinity. And that monkey is sleeping soundly. I think it is the stupidest monkey-mok I've ever seen.
We slowly crawled to the big tree and climbed it very slowly. When Brick reach its back, he is in position to choke it anytime he wakes up. I slowly started to tie its hands and feet. It's quite bigger than other monkey-moks. It is even taller than me. It looks stronger than the others. May be he is the alpha of the monkey-moks or may be a desperado that no other monkey-moks want to associate with. But what is sure is that you will die tody in my hands.
When it's time to tie the neck, "Wu-Ahh, woror", "Wu-Ahh, woror", the monkey-moks from
the direction of our cave shouted loudly. And the monkey I'm trying to tie suddenly wakes up startled.
Without waiting my command, Brick tries to choke it. Without having time to tie the neck, I fasten the rope so that its hands and feet won't be free. The monkey is really stronger than the others. Its struggle are more violent. Although its hands and feet are fastened with a vine, using its body, it try to slam me.
Brick's body suddenly shines in yellow light and its hands and feet become that of a monkeymok. It seems like his grip also becomes stronger. The monkey's movements becomes not as violent
as before. Brick uses his feet to put them around the body of the monkey-moks to have a firmer grip and force. It tries to shout and call for help. But because of Brick's grip, no voice comes out of its
throat. And finally, it faints.
Brick release his grip and I try to stab it in the eyes. But suddenly, the monkey-mok woke up and try to slam me with his body while shouting "Wu-Ahh, Woror". I was hit hardly that I was thrown a few inches away. Bricks immediately try to choke it again. It tries to struggle free from Brick but to no effort. Brick grip its neck strongly. Without waiting for it to faints, I stab its eyes with my pointed bone. It was struggling so much that I can't do a single stab into its eyes. But due to Brick's strong hands, its struggle becomes softer and softer. Finally, it doesn't move anymore. Not daring to release it, Brick still chokes its neck. I stab into its eye and this time, my pointed bone penetrate its eyes.
I was worrying that the other monkey-moks would come since the one we are dealing with
shouted. To my worry, the voices of the monkey-moks' shouting we heard earlier becomes louder and louder. I stab into the eye of the monkey-mok very quickly. But it still isn't dead yet.
"If we stay here any longer, the other monkey-moks would reach here in no time." Brick warns me.
"What should we do then?" I asked.
Without answering me, Brick holds the monkey-mok on its shoulder and jumps down. I immediately followed him by climbing down the trees using the vines. We ran opposite to the voices of the angry monkey-moks. But, to our horror, the voices becomes louder and louder and Brick suddenly ran out of fusion state. And his footsteps becomes slower and slower. Carrying a big monkey-mok and to run as fast as a normal run, his fusion is really a strong one. But now that, he has run out of it, I can't carry the mok and run as well.
