《His Adventure In The Soul World》Chapter 2 : Mango Park

After the woman left, I calm myself down and sat down to think over what has happened. It's my habit to revise what has just happened and look for the mistake, misstep or a point I simply ignores that help happen that troublesome situation. I have done it about two times a week when I was on earth.
"What is that I missed?"
I wonder if the cause is me not wearing the brown clothes. May be. But who knows not wearing brown would cause this. Hmm! Not knowing also is a point to think about. I didn't have a chance to know on earth but I think I had a chance to know when I was safe zone. Where, when, the officers? The guards? The other travelers? I don't think so. They may tell me some information but not the newcomer lessons.
Ahh! I remember. The clothing shop, the little boy. He said his grandpa told him not to sell other than brown clothes to newcomers. I should have asked why. Any other? No. I didn't have a
chance on earth. Okay, let's conclude.
1. I didn't ask the boy why
2. I did what I like without caring the unknown.
3. I was ign… , Hmm, ignorant
The earlier, the clearer, so do the ignorant. Now I think I know where that ignorant comes
from.
--- --- --- --- --- --- ---
Now then I know what causes that disaster what should I do next? I should find some people
to travel with me in case something bad happens. Then one could help the other.
So, I came back to the exit of the safe zone and stand there while waiting for my potential party members. It's been about 2 hours since I started advertising that I want party members. But
after looking at me, most of the veterans just ignores me. I found that most of the newbies are already in party with some of veterans. I think their trip has been arranged before entering the portal. Then, I saw a man comes out. I was out of spirit at this time. So, I just asked him if he want to form a team with me.

"Hello guy, it's dangerous out there alone. I have been there before. If you like, we could form a party before entering deeper."
That man looks at me for a few moment and accept my invitation. "Okay, I will join your party if you are not alone. Is there any other member."
I was glad that he decided to join my party. But I don't have another party member now. "For now, I'm still the only party member. If you don't mind please wait for a moment. I will continue to
invite another one."
He just stands beside me. I continue inviting the travelers. But no one heeds my invitation.
After about 5 minutes later, a young boy came out and before I say anything, he comes straight to me and said. "Are you the one inviting the party member? I heard the travelers in the safe zone talking about a boy inviting party member. If you don't mind, can I join your party? It's dangerous out there alone."
I gladly accepted. "Of course, you can. The more, the merrier. My name is Cank. And here this guy is …" Now I remember I haven't asked his name yet. How forgetful I'm.
"Anon" he answered in my stead. "My name is Brick" the last guy added. "Now that we know each other. Who is the leader of this party and what are we going to do?"
"I'm the leader of this party. And what to do next is …" I am not sure about the plan so I am not able to talk about it. But before I could say anything, Anon said "to go to the mango park and kill the monkey-mok"
I think having a direction is better than not having anything. So, I didn't reject his plan. Brick also said nothing.
"Before leaving the safe zone, I looked at the watch and it is 1:00 pm. We should head to the mango park now so that we would reach there before midnight. That's the time the monkey-mok are asleep. We would kill some of them and the soul will be ours to share" added Anon.

I know that killing a mok will give a chance to get a mok-soul. But I don't know how to share with others or integrate to our own body. But people say that we don't need to know before actually getting one. We would automatically know what to do after getting a mok-soul.
Without anyone's disagreement, we march forward to the mango park. "Here we come, the mango park" But wait, where is the mango park?"
Anon leads us to the direction where we would reach the monkey park. Along the way, we found 5 caterpillar-mok that are almost harmless. We killed them and gained nothing. But those 5 caterpillar serve as our dinner. Although this world have food, they mainly eat mok-meat. They cook them, steam them, roast them or things like that. Since we don't have anything to make fire and it's
also dangerous, we just ate them raw. It is a little bit disgusting. But having them is better than being hungry. And the moks' meat is not that gross.
When the moon comes out, we've reached the outskirt of the mango park. The fruits really look like mango. No wonder this place is called the mango park. There are also flower bushes as well as vines hanging from the top of those mango-like trees. In particular, that giant tree we can see over
the park. It is about at the end of our eyesight.
"That's the tree we are going to. The monkey-mok will be around there. Be cautious and don't make any unnecessary noises. Those monkey-moks attack in group if they find enemies." Anon warn us.
We walked in the direction of the tree in total silence. Only the sound of the foot-step can be barely heard. Although I'm the leader, as Anon is the one who is giving out command, so, I give him
the leader roll. Now, I'll be just a member.
The closer we get, the more cautious Anon becomes. He give signals to us to pay attention to him and point to a tree where we see a monkey-like creature. It has its body cover in fur. Its hands and feet are like that of the monkeys on earth. Just that it doesn't have a tail.
"Seem like it is watching out the intruders." I thought.
The three of us went to that tree where the watch-monkey-mok was on slowly and using a vine hanging from atop, we climbed very slowly. It takes a whole 10 minutes for the three of us to
reach to where the monkey-mok was sitting. That monkey is as tall as us. It is a big one.
"Oh, it was sleeping. I thought it was watching out the enemies. May be we were too cautious."
The three of us went very quietly and when we reach its back, I suddenly chocked him as Anon commanded. The monkey woke up and found that it was in danger. So, it struggle. It's so strong that
I can barely press his throat. Brick came and lock the monkey-mok's hands and feet up with his hands and feet. But we still cannot kill it. So, Anon comes and punches the monkey in the face and his jaw multiple time. Finally, the monkey faints. It takes a whole 5 minutes of struggle to make the monkey faint.
Anon suddenly goes down the tree and picked up a pointed stick. He climbs up again and stabs the eyes of the monkey with his pointed stick. It penetrates the eyes multiple times. After about 30
times for each eye, the monkey's breath can't be heard anymore. Its heartbeat also stopped. It died just like that.
In this manner, the three of us sniped the solo monkeys one by one. Even after 5 monkeys has been hunted, we haven't got a single soul yet.
