Jack hearing that said “So I was right about you being here. I heard a lot about you and what happened but I can’t remember why and how did I become unconscious on that day. They said that you were the one who saved me from someone who injected me with a specimen that made me unconscious”. Dave said hearing it “So that is what you are told about me. I will tell you about what happened on that day and he continued”

Ten years ago in a lab in the city Dave was researching on a specimen which he named the dead-link. He was eager to finish it as he wanted to bring the one he loved back to life. Jack was the head of the investigation department at that time.

Dave was working on the specimen which was not known to anyone except for his assistants Dexter and John.

One day he finally could finish the dead-link. He went to the place where the body of he person he loved was. That was the day when Jack had some business in the infirmary. Jack was out collecting the postmortem report on a person who was murdered.

Jack was in the next room from the room in which Dave was. Dave said to the body of his love “Its time for you to get up from sleep, my love” and he injected it. The body after reacting to the dead-link suddenly woke up and came in Dave’s direction and bit him. He let out a shout hearing which Jack who was in the next room came over and saw Dave. It looked as if he was being murdered by the dead so he shot the person with his gun. Suddenly she was burnt to ashes.

Dave seeing this got angry and injected the dead-link in Jack. Jack fainted the next instant.

After some months he woke up and came to know what had happened to him and he was unconscious for half a year. He could not remember what had happened that day.

That day never existed in his life. He was told that after that incident Dave went missing and was found to be dead a month ago. Jack continued on his post after he was back to normal.

Presently, “So it is true that you don’t remember what happened that day in the infirmary”.

“So you were behind it” expressed Jack hearing him.

“My specimen the dead-link was rejected and that is the reason, I vanished” said Dave. So Jack replied “I have heard about the dead-link”.

“How do you plan on stopping me when you don’t even know the scale of my comrades” said Dave while Jack replied him “First I’ll eliminate you and after that I’ll go with the plan in my mind”.

“You are in my hideout now so do you think you can get out from here” After Dave said that Jack was almost isolated from the outside world and the lab was about to completely shut and there was no exit.

“You are wrong” as Jack said that. The main door of the building flew away. “We are finally here in time. What a pain you are” said a voice.
