《Buried with Secrets》Chapter Three: Rylan Anderson

''Rylan get your ass up!''
Rylan groans, not wanting to wake up after the disaster that occured last night. She's afraid her dad is going to freak out on her, it wasn't even her fault.
Her brother walks into her room without knocking. "Yo, I said get up." He never showed respect for his sisters privacy.
''Did I give you permission to enter my room?" Rylan asks getting annoyed with her brother.
''I really don't care RyRy, dad wants to speak to you. So get your ass up and go talk to him, I don't want to have to deal with his bad mood all day because of you.'' He says in a bossy tone.
"I told you to stop calling me RyRy, I hate that nickname. And for your information, last night was not my fault." She gets up and throws a pillow at her brother, who is still in her room for some odd reason.
''What did that pillow ever do to you?" He asks, pretending to be hurt.
''Get out!''
He throws his hands up in the air and walks out shaking his head, whispering something to himself before exiting the room.
"Idiot." She whispers. The first thing she does when she gets up is look for the perfect outfit for the day. She always feels the need to look stylish, it makes her feel more confident.
'It needs to be something that says: I don't give a shit.' She thinks.
Once she gets dressed she does her hair and makeup. Then her phone rings.
'What do you want Cin?'' She says semi annoyed.
''Just asking how you are but now that I heard your voice, I think I know enough.'' She says, a hint of arrogance is heard in her voice.
Rylan rolls her eyes at Cindy's comment, she always needs to be arrogant about everything and it gets on Rylan's nerves sometimes.
"Just wanted to know what we're going to do about Lindsey, I got into so much trouble because of her.''
Rylan sighs, she honestly does not want to do anything about it. She knows if she reacts, Lindsey will react as well and things will get way out of hand. Even worse than it was last night.

She would rather stay out of it, she however knows she can't do that. She has a reputation after all.
All her life everything Rylan has wanted was to be popular, be friends with the cool kids etcetera. She was always afraid people were going to bully her because her father is rich, but he also has a reputation for doing bad things. The rumours say he kills the people that know too much, but Rylan knows that's bullshit.
Daytuso on the other hand, everyone liked her. Everyone wanted to be friends with her, Rylan was even a bit jealous of her.
Daytuso never liked Rylan for some reason, this resulted in Rylan deciding to dislike Daytuso as well. This whole feud they had? Nobody knows what it was based on. Not even the girls themselves. Some think it's because of their families rivalry.
''Hello? Earth to Rylan?'' Cindy asks, snapping Rylan out of her thoughts.
''I don't know okay? I gotta go, my dad is pissed and wants to talk. I'll see you at school.'' She quickly hangs up, not wanting to deal with Cindy's attitude right now.
Rylan takes one last look in the mirror to see if she looks perfect, once she's satisfied with how she looks, she walks downstairs, ready to face her father.
"I am so disappointed in you! You should know better!" Her father yells, he always wants his kids to behave. He always talks about their reputation but everyone knows he only cares about his own.
"Dad I didn't know they were coming and I couldn't stop them from entering the house." She tries to explain, hoping to calm him down.
"You should have called me immediately! You were being stupid as usual! Do you even care what this could do to your reputation? To MY reputation?" Her father keeps raising his voice more and more.
Rylan looks at the floor, unsure of what she could say to make the situation better. Her father was right, but he could be very harsh about it.
"You have that campaign to think about Rylan! I don't care for your reasons, but I pay for that shit! And this party could ruin all of that. Everyone knows about the alcohol!" By now he is just yelling at her.

"I'm sorry dad. I wasn't thinking."
"Do you ever think Rylan!? I am always cleaning up your messes! I've had it! Try to act more like your brother."
There it is. That stupid comment, this is all she ever hears. Her brother is the 'golden boy' in the family, everyone treats him better. In her family's eyes it's like Rylan can't to anything right.
She feels the tears in her eyes and runs out of her dads office. She grabs her keys and heads to school early. All she wants is for her father to be proud of her for once, but how could he after last night?
Once she arrives at school she sees Alexus is already waiting for her. She looks happy to see her friend but when Rylan steps out of the car her expression changes.
"You alright? What happened?" She asks her friend worried.
"My father, same old." She brushes it off like it means nothing to her.
Soon after Cindy arrives at school, in her brand new expensive car. Cindy always tries to be better than Rylan, she always wants to look better, have the better things, be more bitchy even.
"Hey sluts. Woah what's wrong Rylan?" She says noticing Rylan's red puffy eyes.
"Nothing. Let's just go. I don't want them to see me like this."
The friends head to the bathroom so that Rylan can fix her makeup and hair, from all the crying her makeup was all over the place.
"I seriously don't get why you still put up with that shit. Stand up for yourself and tell him." Cindy tries to convince Rylan to start standing up to her father.
"Sometimes it's not that easy Cindy." Alexus replies to her comment, siding with Rylan on this.
Cindy gives Alexus a nasty glare. "Who cares? I would never put up with that. He needs to know that he's pretty much a little shit."
"Hey! Don't you dare talk about my father like that." Rylan snaps at her friend.
Cindy is not impressed with Rylan's attitude, she slowly walks closer to Rylan. "What are you going to do about it?"
Alexus notices Cindy's sudden change of mood and tries to switch to a different topic to talk about. Cindy is not having it though, still walking up to Rylan, arrogance and anger in her eyes.
"You know what, nevermind I am really not in the mood to fight with you." Rylan decides.
"That's what I thought." The blonde replies "I'll see you at lunch!"
''Just ignore her Rylan, she just wants something as usual. Anyway I gotta go, see you in class.'' Alexus says before leaving the bathroom.
"Oh you're here." Mila says when she enters the bathroom.
"What do you want Azarov?" Rylan says annoyed.
"I want you and your pathetic family to leave me and my friends alone."
Rylan laughs "my pathetic family? Have you seen yours? Your dad is evil. Maybe he killed Daytuso."
This angers Mila. She walks closer to Rylan, opens her water bottle and throws everything over her.
Rylan gasps. "I'm so sorry.. I don't know why I'm always so clumsy." Mila says fake shocked. "Oh well. Gotta go bye!"
"You're dead Azarov!" Rylan screams before running to her car.
"Hey, Cin. Please tell Mr. O'hara that I'm later. Mila threw water over me I have to change." Rylan says while attempting to open her trunk.
Little did she know, she was being followed and the minute she got her trunk to open, someone threw her in it.
"Rylan, Rylan, Rylan. Poor sweet Rylan."
"What the hell do you want now!?" Rylan asks mad.
"I wonder if your dad wanted another boy, because Rylan sounds a lot like Ryan. Mean really." Daytuso starts.
"There are girls that are named Ryan as well. Stop harassing me."
"Harassing? Stop being overdramatic. I just want to talk."
"About what!? You keep finding new ways to ruin my life. Stop it!"
Daytuso gets mad and grabs Rylan by her neck, choking her. "I'll stop when your dad stops attempting to murder me. If he doesn't YOU will be the one that ends up dead." She says, she releases Rylan, fixes her makeup and walks away.
Rylan quickly grabs her phone. "Dad? We have a problem."

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer?
