《Sentinel : Book 2.5》Tatiana 3.1

“You fucking worthless piece of shit” her mother screamed from the other side of the door. “I should have aborted you! You're nothing but a mistake!”
Tatiana hugged her pillow waiting for her friend to get out of school so they could text. She knew he would still be at school because of the time zones.
“Please,” She looked at her phone as she attended to split her focus between calculus and her friend.
“You should be home by now”
Her mother eventually got tired of insulting her and left with the bottle.
“Hey you alright? Sorry that I'm so late.”
Tatiana looked at her phone with joy and texted him. “It's fine I just missed you xoxoxo. My mom was yelling at me again. So when you coming?” Tatiana looked at the picture she had printed of him when he was younger.
He was on a beach somewhere far away. He said he didn't remember where.
“I’m getting a house in your city in about a week. We will be able to see each other every day. It's going to be so amazing!”
“I can't wait to see you face to face.” Tatiana looked at his distant face in the photo but couldn't help but feel like shy.
They confirmed to talk about random bits of their lives till it was late.
“I gotta go to sleep text you in the morning bye kisses.” Tatiana looked at the clock. It was almost midnight. She lulled herself to sleep and woke at six.
She looked around her room and smiled. Just how she wanted it. The sun wasn't up yet but soon. The door to her room had survived the night.
She looked under the door and picked up her backpack. She brushed her teeth in her bathroom and brushed her hair. She walked out as silent as possible. She began her travel.
She stopped by a small coffee shop and picked up her lunch. She looked at her watch and hummed.

“Good morning” Said the text a minute after seven.
“Hey cutie” Tatiana smiled as she typed.
“How are you today?” he asked.
“Pretty good just got up” Tatiana looked up the street to make sure no one was near by.
She continued walked and they talked about what they would be doing once he arrived.
“I'll text you during lunch just tell me if you're not busy today.”
Tatiana looked at the guards that would always be up at about five to check the campus.
They would clean up any dead animals that had been shot apart by the auto targeting machine guns. Tatiana knew they could program the guns to ignore the animals but they simply didn't care.
She walked to the garden they had placed in the school to show off how rich they were. She sat on a bench and looked at the time.
Eight thirty, school was half an hour from starting. Tatiana looked at the story he had sent her. She could barely believe he had written it.
She had spent almost a month and just reached page 1900. The images that accompanied it almost seemed real.
She looked at the bookmark on her phone and continued where she left off. The bell rang far too soon and took her from the strange world.
She smiled to herself knowing he was willing to go all this way to entertain her.
She told him a week and a month ago to write out his dreams and he had been adding hundreds of pages per day.
She walked to her first class taking a seat. She started on the work on the board. She looked around the class rome every now and then. She wished she had someone to talk to but nobody liked her.
“Tatiana, did you do the homework?” Coraline’s curly blonde locks bounced as she turned. Her green eyes blinked as she waited of a response.
"But you told on me last time…” Tatiana looked away from her.

“Come on it was a joke get over it.” Coraline smiled and looked at her book bag.
“Sorry, I don’t want to get in trouble.”
“Bitch.” She turned away and continued talking to her friends.
Tatiana kept to herself for the rest of the class and kept working. Once class was over she walked out to the garden and sat down. She began to text him.
“Hey, I got to the part where the Old Kingdom falls. One thing I don’t get is why the high council did nothing to stop it. The guard could have stopped them couldn’t they? You did say they were semi immortal super weapons.”
She waited a few seconds and he sent his response.
“The guard had a program even if it was just mental. Even if they were truly alive they were told to follow the orders of the council. When the last original member of the council died the guard had no masters. They just had people yelling at them when to do what they wanted. But it wasn’t in their programing to follow the orders of the new council.”
“I wish I was smart enough to pick up on that.” They talked about bit and pieces of the story and talked about what they planned on doing.
“I was able to get the day moved up. I should be able to have my house set up by wednesday.”
“I can’t wait!! Got to go. Xoxo.” She smiled at the idea that she now had only to wait two more days.
She took a moment to calm herself. She tried to be hope full but it never worked. She could never quite get along with anyone. She managed to get through the day and was ready to get to reading and to texting him.
She walked out of town and reached her favorite place. The forest was still small but she love how quickly the trees grew. She could see a few extra feet of tree every time she came. The trees had a few tiny flowers growing on them. They looked like daisies with an almost glowing neon color.
She took a seat on a rock that was just the right shape for a seat. She spent a while reading his book and taking notes. She wanted to crack the code of what had he written into the story. She swept page by page till she found something. She smiled to herself and knew she was onto something.
Her phone vibrated and she looked at her the word “Hey.”
She smiled and said “Hey I know this a bit sudden but I wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my boyfriend?”
She waited as the tiny panda scribe wrote in the corner of her screen.
“I don’t know. I don’t want to disappoint you. I want to let you know what I look like before we start dating. Just two days to go right?”
“I like you for who you are not for what you look like I don’t care. I like you” She once again looked at the tiny panda as his words came to pass.
“So I have two things to say. I’ll let you decide on wednesday and I was hoping I could shadow you in school I did the paperwork. Now all I need is someone to show me around.”
“Absolutely, I was hoping you would ask me.” She smiled as she wrote.
“And fine if you want to wait I’ll wait.” She looked at the text and smiled.
She knew once he arrived she would bring him here. She got her homework out and started to work on it.
“Maybe I can take you around town. I’ve been saving up and I could totally take you somewhere to eat or watch a movie.”
“Sure it would be cool to go around town.”

A Spirit Vein's Guide to Immortality
TL;DR Synopsis: Man dies from falling banana, gets interrogated but answers vaguely, suffers consequences Actual synopsis: Spirit veins. Many consider them to be the pillar on which the world of cultivation is built. These things served as the foundation for the first few realms that would allow humanity to achieve its everlasting dream of immortality. However, in the present age, these pockets of condensed energy only exist to be under the foundations of massive organizations, fostering a new generation of fighters while passively radiating the energy they contain. Nevertheless, spirit veins are still an important element in the world of cultivation, albeit much less so. With that in mind, have you ever considered what it would be like for someone to turn into a spirit vein? No? Well, Arthur never thought about it either. Going through the usual reincarnation schtick (if one could consider it usual), Arthur was eventually brought into a place where a god asked him where he would like to be reborn. Unsurprisingly, Arthur told the god his ideal rebirth. However, soon enough, he would come to realize that he should have been more specific with it. Now being reborn as the smallest spirit vein, or if you could even consider him a spirit vein, Arthur wondered what he could do other than wait for time to consume him…and that’s where the system came in. With it, he would experience multiple stories of hardships, adventure, romance, and action…all underground. Unless…? Do keep in mind that English is not my first language, so I would like to apologize in advance if there are any grammatical errors, typos, miscalculations and so on. In fact, I'd highly appreciate it if you tell me those mistakes. Also, this story focuses quite a lot on the gradual progression of the MC at the beginning, but in the long run, upgrading sprees would probably be more common. Thanks for reading this small note! Rune
In the world of Rune, there are two kinds of Players. The Crafters, and the Fighters. Fighters level their magic power, fueling the runic items from their own bodies, while crafters use the runes they bring back to develop powerful items using their knowledge of the electronic-like system. Not everything stays that simple, though, and Rune is no exception. Within each region, a number of guilds have sprung up, operating as the unaccountable vanguard of defense for the besieged cities. They don't care to deal fairly, and nobody else has the power to do much about it. (Harem is tagged but it's honestly polyamory. I hate the word harem but given that some people would interpret it as such, in it goes.)
