Thank you for taking the plunge with me on my first novel/story. I do sincerely hope you enjoy it!

I did want to go ahead and set some basic expectations as far as style/language and posting goes:

As my profile pic hints, I have lived in two different countries, with two different conventions of English grammar. Please bear with me if I use spellings that may be different and/or if I swap conventions mid-chapter or mid-story without realising.

With regard to posting, RRL is not my day job. I work 80 hrs/week and have a family. This story is just as much for me as part of my catharsis as it is for anyone who decides to read it. That being said, my soft target is 1 chapter per calendar week, with my hard target being 1 per month, even if it's only 500 words.

Also THIS STORY WILL NOT BE ABANDONED.

I have aleady outlined the story in its entirety and have even fully written out the preliminary epilogue. Even if it takes a couple years, I will finish the story. So, do not fear
