Velikan: He was a good man with a kind, but . . . tearing, from the inside heart. There was, a certain someone, he wanted to protect, but all he could do was watch.
Ayshi: Who was that someone?
Velikan: It was -
GIANT ! ! . . .
...: It's over. GIVE ... ME ... THE CODING!
A sudden voice came from behind of us, it was my voice, another Ayshi . . .
Velikan: A guest, but please, come, don't be scared.
Invader Ayshi: I am not scared of you, but you should be . . . I have been, searching . . . for 20 years . . . to finally find you in . . . this miserable lake?
Velikan: Miserable? Why, how dare you, I have been taking such great care of-
Invader Ayshi: SILENCE CREATURE! I have no more intention to talk, this is my last warning. Give me the coding, or- . . .
Velikan: Yes, yes, we all know, blah blah blah, you are going to kill me blah blah . . . only words. Show me how determined you are . . . or, should I say . . . THEY ?
Yes, i know, you came with your little ''Unity''. I know that they are all here. Show yourselves Ayshis, no need to hide.
Suddenly behind the invader came out two women, from afar you could tell that the three of them were covered in wooden armor and helmets.
You could not see their faces, neither their expressions but the two new ones were moving alike, they looked alike even in armor. It was like one was mimicking the other and the other way around.
Invader Ayshi: At the moment you opened the memory of her, I sensed a disturbance in the coding. So you were pulling the strings here. Did you send one of our own to fight against us?
Velikan: ''One of us''? Dear child, you do not even deserve the name of Ayshi.
Invader Ayshi: You know nothing about me, nothing about what I have witnessed. WHO ARE YOU TO BLAME!?

Velikan: Oh, but I know . . . it does not have to end like this . . . we both know the truth, we are on the same side.
Invader Ayshi: I . . .
Velikan: You feel it, don't you, let go of your hatred.
Invader Ayshi: QUITE! Kill him, now.
Velikan quickly let go of me, and with a single touch right on my forehead he quickly said:
''Sorry child, I have so much more to tell you, but, there is no time ... run to the door over there. You will know what to do when you come closer to it.''
He then stood up once again and with a fierce roar that was so powerful that it made an earthquake he rushed forward to the invading Unity.
I stood for a second, and then turned around and rushed towards the door.
After every few steps I looked behind, I wanted to see if he was still there, if he was still moving or even fighting, I wanted to know that he was there.
He felt like an ally to me, someone who knows a lot about this place or places. I could have learned much from him. No, what am I doing . . . I must help him!
I stopped running towards the door and turned around.
But . . .
there was no one there anymore . . .
Silence came in . . .
The roars stopped the stomping too.
The fight was over, I was late.
Useless again, watching from afar how someone dies in front of me without anything I could do about it.
Shy . . .
and now him . . .
Why do I even run?
What is the purpose of this place?
What is my purpose?
Your purpose is...
TO DIE.

Anthony is your average, unassuming programmer that wakes up from a dream only to find the world he knew is gone, along with much of his memory of it. He is forced to fight for his life (badly) and try to help others (unwillingly) in a desperate bid for not only his own survival, but that of humanity as a whole. Join me on my first expedition into writing anything longer than a book report as I ramble endlessly and attempt to cushion the whole thing with exotic adventures in a game world.

Beyond the Horizon's Eye
It is less than two weeks after the event known as the Flux Causality, and two days after the Grand Council has put forth the edict demanding the immediate retrieval and deletion of all Stringhoppers. Finding such Travelers, however, is proving more difficult than expected. A young boy and his sister find themselves violently taken from their world to another, and soon thereafter are forcibly separated. Now sold into slavery, the young man must find not only a reason to survive but a purpose to carry him home. The journey has just begun, and the hardest step is always the first one. ~ This is my attempt at both the Xianxia/Wuxia and Portal/Isekai genre of fiction that I love, and the means to provide a story set in such guidelines, while distancing myself from some of the more common tropes. I do hope you enjoy the story I shall endeavor to tell. ~ Average post between 1000 - 3000 words. This is a work in progress, and will be edited and adjusted over time. If you’re interested in something a bit more GameLIT, you might want to check out my second story on Royal Road, “The Dawnfire Archives”. My newest story is a combination of both genres, but with a female main character at the helm. Feel free to check out "The Card Thief of Culnivar"!

Beneath the Fallen City
On a ravaged Earth, Kayla survives by using her uncanny ability to locate tradable artifacts in the rubble. But when someone starts hunting her, she'll be forced to team up with her biggest rival... A riveting dystopian adventure with a supernatural twist! Some secrets are better left buried... Kayla is a scavenger, driven to search the ruins of abandoned cities for artifacts in exchange for critical life-saving supplies. But, the rarest artifacts are found in the most dangerous ruins—those under control by the OmniLab traders. Carl is one of those traders—and Kayla’s invaded his district. He’s determined to stop her and the best way to do that is to recruit her. The only problem? Kayla hates traders. When a powerful man intent on revenge starts hunting her, Kayla realizes the only way to save herself may be to accept Carl’s offer. But that would mean surrendering to OmniLab and giving up everything she knows. Only everything isn’t quite what it seems. Including OmniLab. And Kayla’s in a lot of trouble. This is a dystopian fantasy story with strong romantic elements. If you enjoyed Hunger Games and Divergent, but want a little magic and romance in your stories ... this book will be right up your alley. Note: Beneath the Fallen City will be updated daily (the time will vary). The average chapter count is around 5k.
