Error’s POV:
I back away from the one who formed me to be like this today. I stared in shock as Ink look confused on what’s going on. I backed a bit more away as Fate took a step forward.
“Um… Who are you two?” Ink asked as we both got up, standing on the ground of the black wasteland.
“I am Fate and this is my sister Destiny.” Lady Fate told her child. Destiny walked over to me. She held my hand in comfort while Lady Fate talked to Ink.
“Come on, my chosen child. Let’s leave them to talk in private.” Destiny said gently.
I nodded right away, just now realizing that my two main rivals are side by side each other. Destiny walked me over to the side where Fate and Destiny were in the distance.
“Lady Destiny? What’s going to happen now…? Everyone is gone because I failed…” I asked my mother as she let me lean on her.
“My child, you didn’t fail. They aren’t forever gone. They were put into other multiverses. You and Ink have to go find them. Dreamtale is still there.” Destiny informed me as she rubbed circles onto my back.
“It still doesn't change the fact that I failed. The balance should have never been unstable. It was because I wasn’t fast enough.” I started to sob as tears began to trace the permanent lines on my face.
“No, you didn’t Error. You tried your best to keep the balance stable. You did not fail your family or anyone else.” She reassured me
Ink’s POV:
I watched as Destiny and Error left. I turned to Fate.
“So what’s going on? I’ve never seen humans with wings before.” I asked Fate.
“Well, I'm not exactly a human. I’m a deity. And about why we are here. All of the monsters are in different multiverses. Currently, Dreamtale is the only AU still up, while the Anti-Void and Doodlesphere are locked away since they are connected to all AU’s. Also while I can tell you again, there is a limit on how many universes there can be.” Fate explained.

“Wait, What!? Why wasn’t I told?” I shouted.
“You were but the connection was too weak.” Fate said.
“Couldn’t you try again?” I questioned her, a bone brow raised in question.
“When creating you, my strings were barely there. By the time the balance was nearly tipped you were no-longer in my strings at all.” Fate answered.
“Couldn’t you have come down to tell me in person?” I asked.
“No. It would have messed up the multiverse.” Fate responds.
“Yes because the multiverse is so much better now then whatever threat would have come.” I sarcastically said.
“…Fair point.” Fate gave in.
We turned to Error and Destiny as they come back, Error has a few tears coming down his cheeks. …Is that how he got his tear streaks? By…crying? They trace his streaks perfectly.
“Error I’m sorry about doing that all for you…” Fate apologized to my former rival.
“It’s fine Lady Fate. But a tip for the future. Having people to fight for will last longer than a reason.” Error smiled shyly.
“Anyways you both will have to go throughout multiverses to get them back. All you need to get them back is the ‘bad’ sanses and the council. But the copies can’t be restored due to the balance.” Destiny explained as Error wiped his tears again with no more falling down.
“Okay!” Error and I respond in unison.
“This will lead to Dreamtale. You can start at any time. You have to head to the Multiversal Library and ask the front desk to get permission to go through multiverses.” Fate continued as she opened a portal. On the other side was the village of Dreamtale.
“Got it!” We said in unison again.
We headed through the portal, immediately walking on slightly damp grass and waved bye as it closed. I look around to see sturdy buildings. Odd. Dream said they were all in ruins.

“So what do we do now?” I asked Error. He let out a small hum.
“We should probably go to the castle to get anything we might need. Some of them might be hungry and we don’t know how long we’ll be in each multiverse. It can take a couple of days or eons.” Error covered his mouth with his hand, index over his mouth and thumb on his chin.
“Castle?” I wondered, snapping Error out of his thoughts.
“Nighty, Dust, Cross, Horror, Killer, and I live in the Dreamtale castle since nobody ever came there.” Error said with fondness in his eye sockets. Tears built up in the corner, most likely remember them. I walked closer to his side and put my hand on his shoulder.
He looked over to me.
“Don’t worry. We’ll find them.” I encouraged him with a smile. He returned the smile and wiped his tears.
“Right. So let’s go?” Error asked.
“Yeah,” I replied.
He started walking west and I followed. 10 minutes of walking later and all buildings were nowhere in sight. We were surrounded by trees.
“Are we there yet?” I questioned the glitching skeleton.
“Almost. The tree’s cover it. Nighty said it was a way to prevent attacks on the castle since there’s no path, causing people to get lost and go back.” Error informed me.
“Really? That’s… smart.” I commented.
“Yeah.” Error chuckled.
I looked ahead to that a bit ahead there are no trees. I ran up ahead to come to face a large stone castle, detailed with midnight purple and gold.
“Wow…” I gasped as Error caught up.
“Heh, what did you expect? I did say it was a castle.” Error snickered, pulling out a glitchy bone.
I watched with awe as it started to turn into a key. He put it into the lock and turned it, opening the door. We walked inside to see an L shaped couch, two armchairs, 3 bean bags, a love seat, a 50 inch TV, and a lot of video games.
“Welcome to the bad sanses oh so evil lair.” Error joked as the bone disappeared.
The walls were grey with purple crescent moons and gold stars everywhere. The floor was carpeted a brown-rose hue. Behind the largest couch was a wide doorway. There was a staircase on both the left and right side of the room. Bookcases were built into the walls of each staircase.
“Whoa…” I muttered as I looked around.
“If just the outside and living room makes you act like this, I don’t think you’ll ever leave once you see the rest of it!” Error giggled as he looked over everything to make sure nothing was out of place. His eyes held a bit of sadness. I’m not surprised. I’m sure they were like family since so many rejected them.

After skipping class to gamble yet again, he sees something on the way to the club. After looking closer he finds a small coin on the ground and as soon as he picks it up he is transported to another world. -Issekai Mockery is exactly as the title suggests, a satire fiction novel making fun of the Issekai genre in subtle and not so subtle ways with the sole purpose of putting a smile on the readers' faces, the novel will feature a lot of Issekai and mmorpg jokes.
