《The hidden truth》Plan B

I'm going crazy. That must be it, it's not the cave it's me. I'm the problem. The voices tell me so. They also say that I'm going to end up killing my friends.
Not necessarily me killing them directly but they'll die and it'll be my fault. My thoughts were interupted by Aqua saying something that I didn't hear. I looked at her and said, "Umm...what'd you say?"
"I asked if you were feeling ok. You look paler then you normally are," She replied.
I said, "Umm...y-yeah I'm fine."
Zane said, "You don't look fine."
"Y-yeah I'm f-fine. I'm just going to sit down," I replied. I sat down and I could hear Zane and Aqua talking to me but I couldn't make out what they were saying. Soon after that darkness came over me.
I woke up and I was back in our hotel room. I went out into the living room to see Aqua sitting on the couch and Zane passing back and forth. He said, "Good your awake. What happened?"
I went and sat down next to Aqua and said, "I'm not sure, mind telling me what happened."
"You passed out in the cave and we brought you back hear," Aqua replied.
I said, "Oh, the voices were probably to much."
"We told you to tell us if you heard them," Zane responded.
I looked at him and said, "I'm sorry, we had to find the knife."
Aqua, "It's fine. We didn't get it and we're not going back."
"But we have to get it to stop them," I replied.
Zane said, "We'll figure out another way."
I thought for a few seconds and then said, "Fine. So how long was I out for?"

"A few hours," Aqua replied.
I asked, "Have you guys come up with a plan B yet? "
Zane said, "No not yet."
"Maybe we can track down your real parents and ask them, " Aqua replied
I looked at her and said, "No, I don't think so. If they wanted to help they probably would have tried to find me by now. "
Zane thought for a second and then said, "What if we go ask your foster parents what they know. "
"Might as well., " I responded.
Aqua said, "Then it looks like we're going to Arizona. "

8 186Sanguine
The Coles are probably the definition of a small dysfunctional family, even if they weren’t the worst in existence; they would probably be lauded as an example of the term. The Coles were a small family though. The father, Oliver Cole, was an asshole ex-football jock who bounced around in small paying jobs after wasting most of his life drinking, drugging and whoring. The daughter, Stacy Cole, was smart, but had many issues including anger, trouble with authority, and occasional suicidal thoughts, and was kicked out of many a school for disruptive behaviour. The son, Mike Cole, was innocent, and tried his best to be kind to anyone and everyone, however his own speech impediment, and slow nature only aided people to bully and belittle him, including his own father. The Coles were indeed a dysfunctional family. At least they were, until they got to the small town near the border between the United States and Canada, Sanguine. Welcome to Sanguine. You will stay. With the exception of the first chapter, each chapter only follows one character. The first chapter is the only chapter in which I will include 'Sides' where it follows a different character. This is a short Lovecraftian story, it won't go above seventeen chapters. Note: the book cover is my first attempt, it might not even remain like it is, I was just tired of seeing the standard 'no cover' thing on it.
8 160Frame of Mind (Fae Mythos: Gar Darron 1)
In a city of darkness and murder, the greatest danger is found in the mind.Alany hasn’t tracked anyone since the war, but when his lover goes missing, old skills are all he can trust. With no other leads, he is forced to contact a mysterious network of telepathic magi, and risk his sanity for hope. When the mind is no longer sanctuary, and even memories can be bartered, is there still power in love? The first book of a new series in Edward Eidolon’s Fae Mythos. A note from the Author: PLEASE leave a review and alert me of any plot holes, weak portions, and anything else. I am in desperate need of beta readers and feedback. I wrote this around the new year, 2020. It's about 40k words and the first in a planned series that follows Gar "Alany" Darron and his agency of detectives as they track missing persons in the city of Throne. I have the sequel planned but not written. Once this one is completely uploaded, I'll be uploading another, unrelated series that as of right now is roughly 160k words long, and somewhere in there, I'll write the sequel to Frame of Mind. I plan to go back and forth between the two series for the foreseeable future. Thanks for reading.
8 61Way of the World
In a world of martial arts and magic, where the strong do as they please, a young swordsman seeks revenge for his school's destruction and mentor's death, while trying to stay true to his own values. Arround him, the era shifts as immense powers struggle and scheme for the world's future. Join our protagonist as he travels through exotic lands, meets strange and funny creatures and learns to remain human amongst the carnage. Author's note: This is the first story I'm writting in a coherent manner (I have written a lot of DnD background stories in the past), so bear with me if I make boring or overdescriptive bits: I'll regularly come back to rewrite whichever parts feel unpolished, especially grammatical errors. I would also appreciate any corrections or suggestions.
8 79The 45th Hunger Games
It's Alaria's first reaping for the 45th Hunger Games. She's only twelve, there's no way she'll get picked, is there?
8 117Vento Aureo || Her Muse ||
No words can describe what she felt when she travels with Bruno Bucciarati and his team. In fact, she is silent - a mute. Even if she doesn't utter a word, she is a tricky young lady. Protecting the young Trish Una is her top mission but she doesn't mind interacting with the team. Let's hope they can understand her well. -- I don't own any of the characters, only my original characters.
