《Life as an Alpha-Knight》My Reality.

As I slowly awakened from my slumber, I was comforted by a gentle touch on my head and a warm touch on my heart. The pillow I laid on was so soft: I felt like I was on a cloud. Its softness brought forth a warm welcome as my mother did when she embraced me within her bosom: nurturing me as a child. All the fragments and pieces of my mother never showed me her face, for it’s all just a blur or obstructed by the harsh light in the distance. “Is that you mother?” I asked as I reached out my hand towards her face. My hand was stopped by Sasha’s hand as she stared endlessly at me.
“How are you feeling?” she asked as she fed more energy into my core.
I blushed, and answered, “I’m okay, thank you.”
“Do you need more time to recover?”
“No, and thanks for saving me from drowning,” I smiled before noticing where I was.
In the corner of my eyes, I saw well-sculpted abs combined with a slender figure. I quickly got into a sitting position, when I realized that I wasn’t on a pillow, but her lap instead. I turned away from Sasha, for I couldn’t face her with my bright tomato face. Despite her being different from Scarlet on a whole, I was extremely embarrassed for her comforting me like a child. It wasn’t just the loving embracement of a mother, but something unique in its own way. When I look at Sasha, she always stares at me without saying anything, but her shrewd grey hollow eyes always worried me. They show nothing but emptiness as you stare into them from days on end. It was like staring at a doll that’s human size and able to move on its own free will. Her plain white skin accompanied by her small nose, curved lips, and triangular face covered by her long black messy hair seems depressing yet satisfying.
Is it simplicity that makes her attractive or her mysterious appearance? I pondered. After placing my hand at the back of my neck, I asked, “How long was I out?” Still blushing from my embarrassment.
“You were offline for at least a week or six days and twenty-three hours and fifty-eight seconds. Scarlet and I had to drag you around as a cube before opening you once we found a place to stay within the city,” she stated.
“We’re already in the city?”
“Yes.”
“So, where is Scarlet?”
She pointed towards a wooden door at the end of the room. Before going to that room, I observed the room and saw two more doors, so I began to ponder, She might be in the bathroom or bedroom, so I shouldn’t disturb her.
“Is that the bathroom or outside?”
“Yes, it is the bathroom. Is it obstructing you from telling her what’s on your mind?”
“No, no, I just wanted to know.”
“I see,” Sasha muttered.

As she lowered her head, I felt a bit of concern seeing her like that. The door slowly opened, and Scarlet came out of the bathroom with robotic-like armor covering her from head to toe. Her helmet opened, and she revealed her face.
“Glad to see you’re up,” she said.
“What are you?”
“A cyborg, of course, and so are you,” she answered, pointing at my core.
When I looked towards my chest, I saw a bright purple orb pulsing energy throughout my body. “How could this be? I’m able to sense things like a normal human being… this must be a dream.”
“Don’t tell me you are still in that state of mind after obliterating the coastline?”
“I what!” I exclaimed.
Scarlet placed her hand on my mouth, and whispered, “Keep it down. You shall disturb our neighbors.”
“I don’t believe that I would do something like that.”
Scarlet gave off a sigh and rested her hand on the top of my head, “If you don’t believe me see what you’ve done over your lifetime.”
In that instant, I saw all the people I’ve killed, the things I’ve done, and the missions I’ve completed. I never felt like it was me but I had to accept it for those are my memories. “I… I-I can’t believe it, I’m a monster,” I said as tears began to flow from my eyes.
“You may feel human, but you're something better,” Sasha stated as she displayed a sign of happiness with a smile.
Her smile helped me cope with my problems as it made me feel warm inside, I’m happy to have her on my team and the same goes for Scarlet. She might be hard to deal with, but she is trying her best to tolerate me. I fell to the floor as I constantly rubbed my eyes as I cried uncontrollably.
“Thanks for everything,” I sobbed.
Scarlet placed her hand on her hip and liquidized her armor as she changed back into her human form. “Now that you’re back is time for you to train.”
“Train?” I questioned as I looked up to her.
“We shall begin tomorrow. That might help you get back on your feet,” Scarlet smiled.
“Understood, I’m looking forward to it,” I grinned.
When it came time to sleep, I found myself having a hard time sleeping so I got up out of my bed and walked to the gallery. Opening the door, released a cold breeze into the room as I stood in front of it: embracing it as I breathed it all in. It was relaxing and pleasing standing by the door, but it might wake the others, so I carefully closed it and looked towards the sky. The night sky was filled with stars beyond my site. “This is truly a fantastic view. I wonder if this was the reason why they chose here.” Then it came to me, FN-Tower is a few miles from here: five miles to be persisted. As I focused all my power into my eyes, my sight shifted to a camera zooming in to get a perfect shot. “Wow, I can see him perfectly from here. What else can I do?” I wondered.

My core began to glow and I began to feel something that I have never felt before. It was unexplainable as I held my chest tightly for it began to pain me. “What is this?” I questioned, clenching my chest even tighter.
At FN’s Airport, my other half touched down on the runway as she stepped out of the aircraft. “Hey, Lisa,” Amy pointed, “Your heart is glowing.”
“I wonder what that means?” Lisa pondered as she touched it with her hand. She looked towards the sky and whispered, “Father is that you? Watching over me?”

Extra:
S4 Yamada floats above FN-H2, staring down at his daughters: Lisa and Amy. “They have grown up so much without me, but I hope she’s ready for what’s to come.”
Subconscious waves weave around him as he panned his eyes towards the sky. A deep voice spoke to him saying, “Tech’s other half is within the city with the other KBN. Whatever is about to happen, we must prepare for it.”
“Hmph, I guess it's time to pay, Mr. Zone a visit,” S4 smiled.
Within the city, Ravent and Bug walked the streets to meet up with their supervisors. They arrived at a location deep inside of the city.
“Glad you made it, Ravent,” Dr. Terry greeted her. Bug came from behind Ravent and Dr. Terry continued, “And glad to see you brought a friend as well. Nice to meet you again, Bug.”
“Likewise, Doctor,” she smiled with her hands in her pocket.
“So why are all of us here?” Ravent asked as they came inside.
“An organization called Vale has released an Alpha Knight, however, we are not sure of its whereabouts,” Dr. Terry acknowledged.
Ravent noticed a hint of concern in the doctor’s voice. “Is it a new type?”
“Yes… Yes, it is, how could you tell?”
“I can hear it in your voice,” Ravent pointed out.
Dr. Terry began to sweat a bit in nervousness after Ravent pointed out his weakness. “I’m glad that you noticed,” Dr. Terry smiled with his eyes closed.
“Is it a new type like us?” Ahatna questioned.
“Slightly, but no. I must say this is even beyond your capabilities, Ravent,” Dr. Terry said.
Ravent eyebrows rose in curiosity. “How so?”
“When you were made, we combined a special core and battery reverse, but the battery is depleted from transforming the recovery-metal. This recovery-metal was mixed with something of the unknown and powered by an unlimited core so it wouldn’t be able to stop transforming or burn out.”
“Does this mean there is no way in stopping it?” Bug asked.
“There is a way and that is to upload a virus into its system to shut it down or destroy the core completely. Although doing so would cause a nuclear explosion larger than anything we have seen or even worse,” Dr. Terry stated.
“What is the callsign for the KBN?” questioned Ahtna.
“It’s KBN-Q and it’s other half is KBN-T. They both are highly dangerous and I recommend all you proceed with caution. KBN-Q is heavily equipped with railgun like technology along with Quantum tech. KBN-T on the other hand is heavily equipped with technology designed for penetrating the thickest and most durable of armor along with the ability of Transcending or Transcendence.”
“Is that all you know about them so far?” asked Rooty as he hovered next to Dr. Terry.
“Yes, and I’m not sure on how to handle them as yet. So, please try to either convince them to become allies with you or it would turn messy,” Dr. Terry recommended.
Ravent, Bug, Ahatna, Rooty, Enigma, and Billy nodded in agreement towards Dr. Terry’s recommendation.
“I can’t believe, organizations are still abusing this metal… and they have the heart to combine it with other metals… how sickening,” Ravent muttered.
“Don’t worry once we get to know them, they’ll be a piece of cake,” Billy chuckled.
“She’s right, we just have to work together,” Bug smiled.
“Do you have a plan?” Ravent asked.
“Of course, but we’ll have to find them by blending in with the citizens and smartly search for them,” Bug answered.
“That could work,” Rooty said.
Dr. Terry's phone rang. “Excuse me, everyone,” Dr. Terry said before answering it, “Hello?” “Ahh! Hello, Hulk, what seems to be the problem?” “I see, understood. I’ll tell them.” And disconnected from the call. “Well, it seems we might have to take Bug’s idea after all.”
“Why is that?” Billy curiously asked.
“Mr. Hulk said that KBN-Q has been dropped outside of the city while KBN-T just landed her in FN-H2,” Dr. Terry recalled.
“Then we’ll have to act fast,” Rooty pointed out.
“Yes, but I would rather you split into groups of two or three,” Dr. Terry recommended.
“Bug and I can look for KBN-T,” Billy yelled, stretching her hand into the air.
“I can search for KBN-Q outside of town,” Rooty said.
“I second that,” Enigma smiled.
“Are you sure they’re not together by now?” asked Ravent.
“No, for their both from a different organization, but you could be right. No telling what they are up to,” Dr. Terry replied. “But who are you going to search for first, Ravent?”
“I’ll monitor the city for one more week before moving to the outskirts of the city.”
“Okay, then since everyone has their targets in mind. I wish you all the best: good luck out there,” Dr. Terry said, giving them all a thumbs up.
