Cody watched Ghost working.

He was really fast and energetic barely taking breaks only when he glitches which is a warning sign that he might vanish if he does not rest.

"You are really hyper, why what is that small thing. That silver chip tag" Cody asked pointing to his right by his leaf. He was set at the edge of a table. Which is a very bad idea because he already broke two pots.

"Careful, or I will put you in a metal pot"Ghost chuckled and took a break to drink coffee,"I missed coffee a lot.."he smiled and sat down looking at Cody,"so tell me Cody..after hearing the story yesterday ,Do you remember anything ? Heh sorry if I am pushing you but I never met someone like you"

Cody thought for a moment then smiled,"oh yea ! I remember ! My family ! I remember...Rose ! I remember ! Every single disaster I caused ! Oh wait..if I remember my disasters then I remember half my life !" He laughed.

Ghost chuckled,"hey where is my son ?"

"I remember ! Him saying he will go hunt for hearts ! I remember ! Him saying he will go train afterwards !" Cody continued and Ghost kept laughed,"ah kids are so precious"

"Kids ? I am not a kid !"Cody huffed.

"You want to know my age ?"Ghost asked trying to stop laughing.

"Haha no thanks old man !"Cody grinned.

Ghost stopped laughing feeling someone's presence,he takes a deep breath and then punches the air creating an energy fist flying at a group of empty boxes smashing them and the people hiding behind them, Ghost releases the fist and motions his hand as if grabbing something, the energy hand does the same and grabs the intruders and start crushing them.

"ugh ! Ghost stop !"One of them groans and breaks the fist with an energy scythe slicing it in half.

Ghost stopped and looked at their faces,"wait..thunder ? Jade and Teddy ?"Ghost smiled and opened his arms wide forming two large energy hands,"give me a hug !"he smiled.

"With your real hands !"they yelled and quickly went to hug Ghost.

Ghost chuckled and hugged back, D's (teddy) and Jade's parents were friends of Ghost and he either took care of them or they played around in the lab when their parents hanged out with Ghost, Jade's metal hands and Teddy's teleport necklace were made by Ghost.

Jade looked around,"hmm..whoa ! Isn't that a training room?!"she quickly ran to it.

"Yes but Ja-.. oh well she will find out by her own"Ghost shrugged it off talked with thunder and D.

"I...do not feel okay"Jack said sitting down, he was covered in so much ash's that his skin and cloths weren't visible,"It was a wrong idea wearing a white shirt...I don't look like a human, I look like the training bots I just smashed".he said staring at his hands, then he looked at the entrance,"is that Jade ? What is she doing with my jacket ? Heh I will pretend to be a bot and mess with her" he chuckled and stood up not moving a finger.

"Not moving ? Heh too easy"Jade rolled her eyes and charged at Jack, he stayed still till she was a few centimeters away from him, he dodged and hit her with the handle of his sword.

"Ow ! How did he dodge ? I put it a low level at first for warm up !"Jade sighed then smiled,"actually.. that's more like it"she took a fighting stance raising her fists ready for fight, Jack used only one of the short swords and leaped forwards, Jade used her hands to block his attacks, He haven't used any magic trying not to be suspicious, it was a weapon on weapon battle.

Jade smiled and tried punching Jack,"hey this robot.." she loses her focus for a second leaving her wide open for an attack, Jack using his speed takes a step forward and punches her throwing her down on the ground, he smiled and put his blade against her throat.

The others were watching.

"I think Jack we will"Thunder smiled,"that kid is talented".

"Nah I think Jade will win she is stronger and more experienced"D frankly told his opinion.

"I think love will win"Ghost chuckled,"can't you see that hate in their eyes while looking at each other ? That's the hate if lovers"Ghost chuckled.

The battle was still on, Jade kicked Jack away from her and broke the first sword, Jack took out the other one and continued fighting.

Jade growled and tried punching his face,"stupid training robot ! Why do you have to remind me of HIM!"she said getting really angry, her metal hands rotated and started shooting small spikes,"him? Is she talking about me ?"Jack thought and ducked avoiding the spikes,"I will end this" he smiled and made a fire wall in front of her, she jumped back and avoiding the flames,"where is he ?"she coughed looking around, Jack jumped through the fire and hit her hard, Jade huffed and tackled him down,"now it's over...", Jack just stared at her eyes wide.

Jade blushed and stared at him looking hesitant,"ugh ! Why ?! Why can't I-"she looks down at Jack, the ashes got blown away from him.

"Heeeeyyyyy"Jack smiled awkwardly.

Jade quickly jumped back and looked away,"heeeeyyyyy.."she replied with the same awkwardness in her voice

Ghost laughed and took money from D and Thunder,"told you so.."he smiled, just smile staring at them.

D and Thunder sighed defeated, "here we go again..".

"I hate you.."Jade mumbled.

"I hate you too"Jack smiled and laughed,"metal hands"

"Hot head.."Jade said eyes narrowing,"waaaaiiiitttt a minute I remember you, when I used to come here I used to get into annoyance battles with that boy..was it you ?"

Jack looked at her confused then remembered,"ah! Yes, I remember now ! That's why you said I look familiar...speaking about familiar isn't that my Jacket ?"he asked pointing at her clothes.

"Y-yes ! I don't want it ! I didn't know it's yours ! I mean umm...t-take your stupid Jacket back !"she stuttered blushing,"hey ! Umm ! how come we didn't recognize each other's names ?"she quickly changed the subject.

Jack thought for a second then laughed,"I believe that is because we called each other EVERYTHING but our actual names..wait your brother was there too right ? His name wa-....that man ! He lied to me !..HIS NAME IS TEDDY NOT D !"Jack laughed.

Jade laughed as well,"haha yea ! I don't know why he is so sensitive about his name ! Haha oh well um.. l-let's go out, I mean outside this room ! To umm..go to the others..you know Teddy and Thunder are here ?! I'll go see them !"and in a matter of seconds she was out.

Jack smiled and went to the control room to pick up Cody, his flower friend stared at him blankly then slapped him with his head.

"Ow ! Cody ?! Ow ! Your petals are actual gold ?! " Jack asked and touched the petals, they were pure gold.

"She loves you idiot ! Take a hint !"Cody growled.

Jack blushed and set Cody on the table and sat in the chair,"yeeaaa...I know..and umm..I will try after all of this..if we survive"he sighed trying to think of a better excuse.

"No no, you are stalling because you are shy, but don't worry your friend here knows what to do"Cody smiled and brushed his petals as if they were hair.

"Did I really get to such a low point I am taking romance advises from a flower ?"Jack sighed and leaned back glancing at petal,"okay doctor love enlighten me with your knowledge"he rolled his eyes not expecting much.

Cody coughed a bit then started talking in a smooth voice,"girls love compliments my friend but, try to keep it realistic don't lie..never lie to girls..tell her her petals are soft and beautiful, her stem is very nice, tell her you would gladly hold leafs forever, and in Jade's case she is a strong person..try telling her how her roots are strong" Cody smiled and took off imaginary glasses ending the lesson.

Jack blinked slowly and thought that through,he just nodded and walked out of the room holding the pot,"you know they aren't so bad..if I translate them to human terms"he chuckled and grabbed a candy and fed it to Cody as a thanks.

All the others were waiting for them, there was many maps and a white board, they were discussing the plan.

Jack sat down between Teddy and his sister and moved his sight towards Ghost who was done arranging the room,"right on time Jack, we are here to plan something important, we all know that arena is not what it looks like, a shady owner that rarely appear, getting people in against their will and them disappearing after losing their 'chances' well..I have seen the secret of that place."he motioned Jack to stand up and talk.

Jack stood up and started telling everyone the truth, the mutants, scientist, heavy security and brain washing, everything he have seen and heard.

All the others did was listen, even though trying to maintain a normal face they still looked scared.

Ghost frowned,"I have a plan,if we go challenge him head on he will just hide behind the mutants, but..if I can free them from mind control, no matter how strong he is..he won't be able to defeat a whole army of people who hate him" he showed them the plan.

"Hey how are you going to free them ?"Thunder asked.

Ghost just smiled,"I have my ways".

And so he showed them the plan.

D/teddy will teleport around to make sure the area is clear , Ghost would sneak in disguised as a scientist, get to the control room and broadcast a special sound wave through the speakers, it will free the people from mind control.

Thunder must try to grab as much attention to make sure the control room will be neglected.

"What If they get brainwashed again?"D asked having doubts.

"Say D..why do you think one would be given three chances ? Simply it is because they can't control masses, one by one they needed to Brainwash them, if they had the ability I don't think they might hold back"He explained with a smile and kept talking about the plan.

Jack and Jade will make sure no one enters the room and by force if necessary.

Cody will stay with Ghost.

"Why do I sound useless ?"Cody frowned.

"Quite the opposite, I get too busy with work I forget my surroundings you will be the like last line of defense" Ghost smiled a bit nervous hoping Cody would believe it.

"Yay !"Cody raised his leaves and smiled wide,"let's go now !"

"Let's rest now kids.. tomorrow is the day..oh and don't worry my lab is protected you won't get teleported" Ghost chuckled and went to his room.

Everyone went to a room except Cody who just slept in his pot.

And so they all fell asleep after taking some time to think about it, worries, hopes, dreams and fears.

Meanwhile...

"Master Malik... He had escaped.."a guard said.

"You think we should stop ?"another guard asked but they quickly hushed him.

Malik smiled and grabbed a sword,"what's your name ?"he asked.

"My name is Samuel.."The guard said shivering.

"Tell me Sam do you have a family ?"Malik asked with an evil grin.

"Y-yes sir..w-wife a-and t-two kids"The guard almost cried from fear.

"Too bad"Malik used fire magic and burnt Samuel to death.

"NOTHING ! WILL STOP ME ! NO ONE ! NO FEELINGS ! NOTHING !"he laughed loudly as all people kneeled in front of him, they were scared all that's why they obeyed him...fear.
