"you already attacked"
Jack dropped back in the arena, he was in his other room "here we go again" he got off bed and walked outside.
"Hey there kid !" He could hear the sound of his trainer Thunder.
"Hey thunder'' he looked at him quickly identifying him by the loud voice.
"You better start training now ! You're late and your next opponent is fast ! Possibly faster than you"
"Faster than me ?" Jack asked looking for his opponent.
"There"thunder grabbed his head and tilted it towards a guy with purple hair and black eyes, there was a red glowing scar on his left eye, his weapons were two sharp blades wrapped around his hands, he closed his eyes for a bit and in a blink all the targets in front of him got teared into little shreds.
"You sure...This is level one ?!" Jack asked.
"Yes now start trai-"
"Yo thunder some new guys are desperate and need real help !" The guy with scythe yelled.
"What about this mess I have here" thunder pointed at jack.
"Hey !" Jack crossed his arms offended.
"I'll take care of this" he smiled.
"Okay"thunder walked away.
Jack took a closer look at the scythe guy , he had dark black hair and purple eyes, he was very pale to the point if he got a bit more you'll be able to see through him, there was many dark marks under his eyes, his scythe's blade was made of energy, and its grip was dark purple.
"Uh...Hi ?''jack said still staring at him.
The guy quickly punched him.
"Ow ! What was that !" Jack said wiping the blood off his mouth.
"My sister wanted to do this really hard so I did it for her, mine better than her metal one right ?"

"Wait....You're that girl's brother ?!" Jack said annoyed 'ugh come on ! I keep seeing here in school and now I'm stuck with her brother ?! How great' he thought and looked at him "ok whatever...Let's start"
"Sure, by the way my sister's name is Jade and Remember"
"Sure, I'll forget"Jack rolled his eyes "what about you ?"
"My name is D, for death" he took out his scythe and activated its laser blade.
Jack mumbled something.
"What did you say ?!" D growled and swung his scythe at jack.
Jack dodged getting a small scratch on his cheek "nothing"jack sighed and looked for a sword.
D handed him one "I like fair battles" he smiled and swung his scythe again.
Jack dodged again "ha ! To slow !"
D pressed a button and shot near jack. "Never underestimate your opponent''
Jack growled and tried stabbing D.
D teleported a few steps back avoiding jack's attack "just waving your sword like an idiot ? I'm surprised you won your first battle"
Jack shot a fire ball at D knocking him down "forget your own rule ?" Jack smirked and walked away.
D growled and stood up.
"Wow this place is huge "Jack was walking around exploring the place, as he was walking a red crystal on the wall started glowing bright red "what is this ?" Jack touched the crystal and a door to a lower floor appeared "I didn't know there's floors here" he walked down curiously and the moment he reached the door closed and locked. "WHAT ?!" Jack shoot the door with a fireball but it remained unscratched, "guess I'll have to keep walking" he looked in front of him, it was only darkness but he kept walking knowing there's no other way .
While he was walking he bump into a wall "ow ! Guess it a turn" writings on the wall appeared it was in red.

'Ghost is so cute ! I really like him and ev- wait what ?! What am I saying ?! No no no ! I'm not falling for him...Am I ?'
Jack tilted his head confused "what is this ? Oh well at least I can see something" he looked to the right and kept walking, it was darkness again until more writing appeared ' what did I do...I can't believe I growled at Ghost ! That was so embarrassing !'
Jack shook his head "wait a minute...Were these written by...My mother ?" He touched them but nothing happened "weird.." he looked at purple writing.
He went to it confused since the two writings before were red.
' teleportation necklace done' it changed red quickly after jack read it.
'ok It's perfect now ! With this machine-' Jack stopped reading and looked to his left quickly hearing something loud, it was like an engine working, but it sounded broken.
He took a few steps to the source of the sound suddenly a person leaped out of the shadows attacking him, his face was deadly pale, some purple substance was leaking out of his eyes and mouth glowing in the darkness, his clothes looked torn and old.
Jack punched it hard in the face.
The human bit his arm leaving purple bite mark, Jack gasped and held his arm in pain.
The human attacked again, Jack dodged and kicked it in the back and darted the opposite way.
' what are you doing you coward go back and fight !' the voice in his head yelled.
"Go fight it yourself ! I'm not touching that thing again !" He kept running, ignoring all the writings on the wall.
' maybe you should read one ?' the voice suggested.
"Maybe you should shut the-" he bumped into a wall and a big writing appeared that said 'dead end'
"Seriously ?!" Jack groaned.
' told ya !' the voice laughed.
Jack looked behind him at the thing, it was in front of him.
'How did this thing reach here so fast' he thought staring at it.
The thing screeched in his face loudly and teleports away.
Jack shook his head and looked around "I got an idea... Hope it works" he lied down on the ground closing his eyes slowly, he fell asleep and woke up.

The Mook Maker
There are many possible fates that can await those whisked away from our world to another. Some became heroes or villains, given the right power to forge their own destinies as they wished. The Queen's Guard
Friedrich Schreiner is a proud gefreiter of the Queen's Guard, 2nd Company: the finest fighting infantry on the continent (barring the Temple Guard; but please don't bring that up). Service is honourable but, with the Empire on a peacetime footing, terribly boring. Affairs take a dramatic turn for the worse when a mysterious invader uses a forgotten and taboo magical means to breach the capital, plunging the nation into chaos and endangering the royal family. With events spiraling out of control, Friedrich is entrusted with a critical mission. Will hot lead, cold steel, and his determination be enough to see him through? The Queen's Guard is what I'm calling a black powder fantasy story: it's set in a loose equivalent of the early 18th century (plus or minus a few pieces I decided I wanted or didn't want). Magic exists, but not in a spell-slinging sort of way: it's Earth-shaking undertakings or minor enchantments forged in by master craftsmen, the grand working of a secretive cabal or a slight nudge to the course of a blow. I, the eternal optimist, have a full trilogy in mind. The first book is The Prince's Arquebusier, hence the cover and the title disagreeing! This is my shot at 2021's NaNoWriMo and RR Writathon! I've hitherto been terrible at writing long-form fiction, so this is an effort to break out of that by having some accountability in being supposed to post chapters regularly. Here's hoping it works! I have an outline, but not too much detail. I'll do my best to avoid continuity errors, doing anything glaringly stupid, or otherwise fluffing my lines, but I can't make any promises on that. Please do let me know any feedback! Always happy to improve. [participant in the Nov 2021 Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Love, Napalm & Homicidal Fairies
When Nasilain started traveling between worlds, she hadn’t expected to get caught by a police officer. Nasilain: Traveling between worlds always filled Nasilain with dread. All those men with their friendly smiles and hundreds of questions. What was the last movie she watched? What music did she like? What country was she from? If Nasilain could use magic in this world, she would’ve blocked the flow of calcium ions in their jaw muscles just to shut them up. The scientific knowledge she could find on the internet using the free Wi-Fi in one of the local coffee shops forced her to tolerate the occasional interrogation. But even hipsters were better than Seth, the beefy police officer that caught her teleporting. Apparently, she wasn’t allowed to lie to him, which was fine as long as he didn’t ask about the clone. Seth: Seth had seen his share of bad luck. On normal days, it manifested as a shoulder injury that got him discharged from his SEAL team or wounding a civilian while on the police force. But landing in a parallel dimension with elves in neon green pants, a cute mad scientist with magical abilities, and swarms of carnivorous fairies? That was a first. At least Nasilain promised not to use her magic to split atoms. Content warning: This book DOES NOT contain zombie fairies. Everything else is fair game though.
