First person view-(Uknown.)

______________________________________________________________________________

My life started and ended... with my birth and his death. Who knows why? After it reached that point, it started all again. It never changed...It kept repeating itself like an old broken game; a fragile thing which slightly changed, but kept repeating the same beginning and end.

Your birth, his death.

MY BIRTH...his death.

I had enough of it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The blooming dark scenery of space flushed like distilled water around me, as I happily flew towards my favorite planet. Strangely I had come to feel a strange tingle that turned into a little discomfort, every time I neared the purplish-ashen green ball. Who knew why?

Sadly if I had known…

Anyways…

Covered with huge concentrations of purple clouds, my lovely planet got obscured by its green surface and greatly outlined by vibrant purple waters. From a distance, It was more than clear picking season was around the corner. The oceans were at their crystallizing stage, one of the phases that signified a whole year in this world.

'Almost that time of the year, I see.' Casually I slowed down my pace, thinking I had enough time. But I was too late.

______________________________________________________

The faint salty smell of a rolling tear flows into my mouth, gradually surfacing the song...a tune I listened long ago. -Countless memories replaying in succession.-

-So many dreams...-

-So many lives lost in the abyss.-

I raise my arms, reaching forwards, as I quietly croak in the darkness. “I can’t, I can’t...save you.” I slowly fall on my knees. Hitting the cold wooden ground my body shudders, as my hairs stand on end. An anger burning without control drives itself deep into my heart, as I remember all the lives taken away from me because of my foolishness. Because of my hesitation. Because I was not strong enough, brave enough to save their lives.

Clenching my teeth, I slowly frown. ”Why have the powers of a divine, IF I CAN'T EVEN SAVE YOU!”

Time seems to distort. My perception expands, and the world collapses around me. Wall to wall. "Not this time"

Echoing, the sharp words shake me like the orange leafs falling outside; quivering and tumbling from side to side. Far inside the darkness, the faint shine of the moonlight pours down the window. The crystal-like shine courses through the room, showing the silhouette of two sharp figures resting on a wide structure; a wooden chair made out of golden trimmings and brilliant white feathers.

On high outstanding mountain, something begins buzzing with power, as a strange green light falls from the sky miles above and pierces the wooden ceiling of a wooden cottage, gathering in the palms of a standing shadow. The shadow curves his hand, letting the green light gathering in his palm flow inside his bones and muscle fibers in small waves of mythical vitality; a blue license.

Gathering the energy slowly, The thing of shadows tirelessly attempts the forbidden arts of life and death. Touching with his free hand a wrinkled shoulder...

"NO."

Gritting my teeth in distress my desperation keeps rising. My loved one’s breaths synchronizing...declining closer into the reaper's embrace. The silhouette of my who I loved so much from my birth and his longtime friend, shine a metallic green and dark blue mix. Their muscles tense, as their bodies try to mold with the energy being transferred to them.

The man hidden by the darkness groans and whispers. “Just let us die Astrus.”

What? The knot in my throat opens and releases all the sadness which I locked and kept away. The construct I formed below the chair with the strange vitality collapses. The volatile energy of life exudes the presence of death. The energy returns to me with so much power, that I'm instantly pinned to the wall behind me like a nail being pushed and smacked into place.

Silently, a hole is opened in my black ancient armor by the green corroded vitality. The heatless thing pushes itself through the hole...deep into the inside of my soul and carves a glowing jagged spiral on my chest. I wince as I feel the stings reach my heart and cry in agony. As all of this is happening, my dad's head falls to one side, his jaw opens wide and his eyes open in terror as he sees what he has done and so...

he dies.

Life disappears, and I fall on the floor. Suppressing my pain and pushing my limits, I attempt to fix the gashes made by the fangs of death, yet even with all my achievements, all of my special skills, and all my dominions...I fail, losing my immortality and with it losing my last chance to save their lives. The body of Astrus trembles and starts beating like a drum. He winces and tries to keep his slowly closing eyes open.

”How could everything fail me?” My body starts throbbing in pain. The many Veins in my neck and forehead expand to their limits. My hands start gripping my head. Coughing spurts of blood on the floor, the eyes of Astrus haze and die from the inside.

I feel cold.

‘I feel empty….’

Remembering the happy moments the three of us had together, I sit...

An ominous sound begins rebounding in my head-Tick-ick-tick-tick-ick.- Slowly it grows with every strike. I briskly grab onto my skull tighter and tighter, as I try to ease the growing ache.

The smell of a forming pool of metallic blood makes my mouth dry and warm. I brutally bite my lower lip and look forwards. The pain becomes too much for me that my body spasms, and I begin to bleed from the skin. With the flooding iron taste of my primal blood curling around my teeth, I mutter with a hidden animosity. ”It will not end like this…IT CAN’T END LIKE THIS”

Everything stops. The movement of the yellow leaves falling outside stills. The whole world waits, as the eyes of every living thing dulls, and slowly everything begins turning a gooey-black.

This reality is being consumed by another and yet...

“It will not end like this. Not this time.”

-THUNDER BOOMING-

The invisible black wrappings clustered around the unmoving world start falling apart, cracking like an egg...becoming nothing more than a passerby. Everything gradually starts moving again. The eyes of every living thing begins shining with the powerful pulse of life, as the eyes of Astrus start burning again, not with life, but with something else.

-”MOVEEEE!”-I fight my awakening old age as I try to stand. And then I realize, this is not exactly because of old age. ‘My whole body is being crushed to pieces as fast as it’s pieced together, as if- someone was... No!. Someone is doing this and pay for it they will.’.

And so like a rock falling on an infinite pond and the smoky figure as the center. The space around him ripples. Destroying the influence trying to subdue him, expanding, covering the great distance, traveling far into the horizon, beyond the great beyond, finally reaching a being, an entity cladded in chaos, but with the expertise of a teller of tales. Rippling all of them like a great wave of godly proportions.

Many living in this world, wake up from their sleep, anxious, as the weird phenomenon has made them come out of their houses to watch the strange event.

In an old wooden house not far from the mountain, a little kid, 13, lifeless yet awake. Looks outside from the window of his home, seeing ripples spreading from the top of the mountain of Esphiler, his actions replicating the same movements decillion of creatures in many different worlds made.

Some smooth.

Some rough, yet all the same.

The civilians of many different realities come out of their shelters, looking like many grains of sand pouring from the insides of their planets, and as they stand there, they realize they were not alone, and so they Look towards the stars. Not... yet ready...

Even so… with their mouths dry, their minds freed from rusting chains. They stand there and raise their arms towards the skies, moving them from side to side, singing an ancient tune, a mystic hum which was not supposed to be there.

*Back at the cottage*

_____________________________________________________________________

*An obscure lullaby is heard from the outside.*

Finally sitting up into a kneeling position, the air around me becomes heavier, cracking the wood below me, making the storm above the cottage focus on one place…. me.

Outside of the cottage the overlapping clouds twist and stretch towards the ground; creating something akin to a tornado, that covers the cottage on top of the mountain in a blazing whirlpool.

“All the powers in existence and yet I can’t save you old friends.” Resounding with an indescribable essence, his words explode in all directions, making a continuous boom be heard all around the world, like an earthquake shaking the whole planet. The smoke inside of me flares to its maximum; releasing enormous amounts of smoke into the room.-“Such an intricate lie.”- I mumble, raising my eyes forward.

Gazing upon two lifeless figures the trembling individual stands up, with his legs finally healed he tenses his muscles and drags himself forward…

*Tip*... *Tap*... *Tip,*

With each of his steps his mantle of smoke condenses, becoming more like solid metal. He stops in front of the man; carefully bending; trying to hide his eyes in shame, but making sure he is able to look at the man.

-”I will find you…”- He says; letting the divine smoke surrounding him turn a deep crimson.

Looking intensely at the corpse; the individual majestically turns back as his eye releases a godly tear, one swirling in so many unstable fluctuations that it cracks open a black pit in the wooden ground.

Walking to the door, the air in front of the smoky figure darkens and slowly wrinkles. The space in the middle of this cloud separates and leaves a dome-shaped entrance. Quickly walking into a portal, I leave the cottage of my dear friends.

Stepping inside; flashes of electric colors zoom out of my vision, but instead of bending around me, the colorful thunder strikes me, pushing me back. One after the other they slash me, leaving deep gashes on my protective smoke.

Paying it no mind, I travel to the end of the tunnel, but as I'm about to reach the other side, one of the flashing colors unexpectedly catches my attention. A red streak zooming off towards my destination, I look at it but end up quickly to my designated place.

____________________________________________________________________________

A molten crust floating swiftly in a timeless space greets me. The grey pebbles covering the ground roll out of the way, as I completely come out of the portal. The smoky figure touches the rocky floor. Looking around, he fluidly crouches and with a titanic force, he jumps into the sky. The floor below him cracks and not even a second after that the rocks below him explode in all directions, leaving an enormous rumble. I slam on a metallic floor. I breathe slowly and my bleach my teeth.

“Leaving something bottled up will not be my shame...”

*Crackle* *crackle* White Lightning comes out of the body of the smoky figure. The lightning heavily becomes yellow as time slowly fades. A portal forms out of nowhere and shines a golden colour. The smoky figure looks at his friends. They stand in a media killing beast of old. They where reborn but instead of the smoky figure looking content, he screams.

The space around him deforms and becomes unstable.

”...My friend is just a baby in this endless path, its eye, IT'S EYES! Holds not the same liveliness that it once had! The thing inside the strange magical window is not the same man it was once!" I weep as he is the last, yet the first to live this endless lie. "Why!?" I shriek, closing the golden portal Infront of me.

Looking into the opposite direction, I hold my hand out and grasp at the air. Finally, the dome-shaped distortion vanishes. Daring not move from the place I landed, I slowly turn my face to the empty sky. Gripping my face, a dark thought seeps into my mind. “How can I have so many energies under my command and yet be unable to save the simplest of lives.” I turn fluidly and coincidently punch a structure. I punch and punch, and PUNCH!...

Quietly, a strange building in front of the smoky figure takes the full force of his strikes. I take a step back. Looking up, I see a big structure in front of my eyes. ”I’m standing in front of the gates of my palace, the one sitting gently in a piece of space, the one standing in front of my face…” I say to myself poetically. The smoky figure turns. His eyes glow a hazel blue streak, and he holds his hands towards the boundless space around him.

“I hold so much power, yet I can not save them from this endless lie... this endless plan.” My emotions hype up. My heart starts beating faster. I stand quietly in front of my palace, fuming with a disturbing instability. But something changes… the chains controlling me disappear, the strings of fate have gone away.

As if grasping an infinite pool with all my might, I control my flaming hatred and so effortlessly it becomes my changing temper…the smoky man looks upon the colorful space beyond his palace a thing the mysterious entity would do normally. This time he knew it was not the same.

My soul ripples in its infinite space. My eyes sparkle with an endless rage. Time bubbles up and yet it stays so constant. “I will not follow your plans!" Rage fills my soul, as I whisper those words. The looming darkness in front of the man looks at him but it gets horrified, as he manages to look back at it. "I shall carve my own path out of this eternal place!…”

The tugging sensations in my heart embrace my weakened spirit. My soul passes on to the next wave, and so gently I get out of the stage. The smoky individual journeys away from the chains of reality. Something tries to hold him down, yet in front of his rage, the sensation is nothing but a pain. My body loudly flickers and disappears from existence. Rippling through all the planes he tries to find the truth of this place.

The smoky man leaves the boundaries of existence, and he quietly wonders in a strange place. A place full of opaque colors which hold no life in them. A place where no one is supposed to even reach. The truth of all is revealed to him...everything was…fake, sadly he is too young to even understand. Astrus looks up to see a light. Nothing inflates his heart but an unyielding temper, as the light of ignorance shines upon him trying to cease his danger. Yet all he feels is a raging passion. A passion for ending this unexplainable lie. This unchanging path.

"Many had to die, for what? FOR WHAT DID THEY DIE!” I say, as my anger drives me onward. Thin strings fly toward my mind...they try to subjugate me. “I shall not be your minion, I will not be your slave in this wicked play,” Says the Astrus directly to the light above him. Suddenly as if a vibration invades him. His soul rumbles. His body trembles. Something looks at him with a lovely smile…he blacks out. I feel at peace in this endless void. I let myself drift into this destructive world. Yet my rage is so infinite, my quest so vast. I wake up forcibly and look around.

"My home?” The scenery changes. He looks at the life he had from the day of his tragedy to the end of his peaceful reign, finally getting to the passing of his most beloved... ”My old man.” I look at his eyes. ”I finally understand…” and in a croaky voice I say, "You were letting me go.”

Furiously I grip the unknown plane with my influence. Reaching every corner of its domain, I fight for territory only to realize a shameless illusion dares to stand in front of me. ”This illusion will not, and cannot hold me back! I have lived to this point thanks to my ruthless actions. Today shall not be the day I forget, the day I lose that mighty defiance!" Defiantly Astrus rips the illusion apart. I jump away as I head unending screeches escaping from this figment of imagination, this cruel hallucination.

Astrus levitates above the ground. He prepares his mystical powers. He invades the space around him and causes a distorted starlight shield to…”Strange...” He says, as the shield quickly dissipates. He takes out one of his most powerful relics; a small pole with two yellow stones on each side.

"MAY THE WEAK DIE and the strong rise. Carnage Shall reign once more…

this is going to be fun”
