Hi everyone!
First off I want to say thank you for reading Mortal up till now, you've given me some form of confidence in my writing and for that I am grateful.
The reason for this chapter is that I am going on hiatus.
I'm not sure if you can call it a hiatus this early on into a novel with barely any content but that is what it is. I have a really good mindset with where I want to take this light novel but at the moment, I don't think I have the experience required to pull it off.
I'm going to see what I am able to do and how I can improve by writing one or maybe two other short light novels and try to improve my technical writing skills. One more thing to improve is the length of chapters because currently its around 1000 words per chapter but I would like to push that to 2000 if not more.
Unlike most hiatuses though, I will return. I'll probably be back come the middle of September but I'll definitely return before the end of October.
Sorry about the wait but if you like my writing (which would honestly amaze me) I should be putting up a new fiction by thursday.
