Grim rented a stable at the guild's inn to leave his ox there.

He is planning to help Arriane enjoy the day.

They watched some dancing at the central square, and enjoyed the food at the booths.

Due to the event, some merchants took advantage and make some discounted sale to attract more customers.

Grim's eyes caught a merchant selling accessories. He looked at Arriane who was busy watching and enjoying the traditional dance.

He silently went to the merchant and looked for an accessory he think would suit her.

He saw a pair of necklace one is in waxing cresent phase of the moon, and the other is in wanning gibbous phase of the moon. Together, they form a full moon.

He bought the pair and put one of them together with the necklace from her mom. Grim tapped Arriane's shoulder and gave her the crescent-shaped necklace.

"What's this for?" Arriane asked while blushing.

"Just a little present." Grim smiled

"That's right before I forgot!" Arriane grabbed something into her pocket, a fishing hook made specifically by Arriane. It looks just like a normal fishing hook. But if you look closely, you can see their initials. It was very small, but is still very detailed.

Arriane looked at him and congratulated him a happy birthday.

"That's right! Since you and I have time for 3 days, why don't you stay in the night with us? I'll invite Elliot too! Besides it's my birthday, so I really wanted you guys to celebrate it with me tonight!" Grim said to Arriane with a big smile on his face.

All day they enjoyed the festival, They also went to Elliot's school where he learns sword and magic. After school, Elliot joined the two. The moon then rises, and they all went to the Whiteshore forest, where Grim's dad is waiting for them outside.

"Hmm, Arriane and Elliot. How are you kids?" Grim's dad asked like he missed them. He waved at them to come inside the house. Knowing Grim, Gild made a warm meal for more than two people.

"Wah! Dad this is too many many Glumfish soup!" Grim exclaimed as he saw three big cooking pots on the table.

"HAHAHAHA! I know right?!" His dad laughed heartily. Grim hugged his dad tightly and thanked him. Then he told the other two to dig in. Elliot looked pale face and Arriane laughed wryly.

"How could you just eat glumfish all the time?!" Elliot asked.

"What? It taste good!"

Elliot sighed and put his palm in his forhead. Good thing he bought a cake to celebrate his friend's coming of age. Since Elliot's family specialized in holy and spatial attributes, Elliot could use his abilities to store items he needed to his skill [UNLIMITED SPACE]. So to get the cake, all he did was to sway his pointy finger and say the name of the skill. And then a small black hole appeared beside him. He put his hands inside and got the cake out.

Seeing how his friend used magic infront of him, Grim was amazed. Grim can't do magic. He is just a normal human with no magic abilities. Arriane knew nature magic.

And so that night they celebrated his birthday.

Morning came and the three of them talked about what Arriane should do.

They can't let this go any further and make Arriane more helpless.

There is nothing they could do about her dream, but they can still save her humanity and dignity.

The three of them decided to go the the church at the city. The big church is located at the center of the city. Before getting inside, they saw a beautiful garden filled with different flowers. The air smells fresh and a fountain with the angel of life's statue can be seen. After passing the garden and the fountain, a big palace looking building in front of them can be seen. It is the church or where Life's altar could be seen. Two holy knights were standing guard at the entrance. They are wearing a full shining white plate armor with shields and swords in their hands.

It was Grim who first spoke.

"Can we come in? We wanted to see the angel."

The knights didn't move. Grin thought it was okay so he went forward to the entrance. He was shocked when both both of the knights drew their swords and point at Grim. Elliot sighed, and showed him his badge. Knowing Elliot's a royal and Grim was his friend the knights pulled back their swords and one of them talked.

"An appointment with the cardinal is required before seeing his majesty."

Elliot then used his spatial magic to send a letter of request to the cardinal. It was a request to see the angel of Life. Few moments later, the door opened, it was the cardinal who walked out that door.
