Born in Massachusetts and Kentucky respectively the brother sister team, Harry and M.K. Michael both lived in Bristol, VA and Fort Sanders student ghetto in Knoxville, TN, where Think Again takes place, although at different times. Harry Sr. was raised a Catholic altar boy and Phyllis Sue, their mother, raised them with an a great appreciation for Appalachia and the history of Bristol and the surrounding areas. A wide variety of life experiences colors this colorful story.
Harry's ten years in and out of the prison system in Tennessee and Virginia gave him a firsthand look at the good, the bad, and the ugly of the Department of Corrections and the inmates within the institutions. Owning the only copy of "According to Hoyle", he was de facto arbiter of various gaming disputes. Once back on the streets Harry obtained an Associate's Degree in Information Technology while on the Dean's List and working full time. His son, Harry, III resides in Lexington, NC.
M.K.Michael has published two tarot books under the pen name Lady Lorelei and self-published three space opera novels, the Lightfall series. She resides in Chatham County NC with cats, dogs, and birds. When not writing, she runs the non-profit Resthaven Retired Pets, Inc. to keep senior pets in their forever homes with their Disabled owners.
