Chapter 15: Agent 00: Kuma Arisa
The Evening: Sector 27: MRPA Interrogation Room
Aku slammed the door behind her as she left the room, "I'm so done with him!! It's been hours and he hasn't told me anything!!!!" she screamed in frustration.
Keiko turned the corner and waved, "Need a break?"
Aku smiled, "Is it that obvious?"
"Only a little," she grabbed the doorknob to the room, "I'll see what I can do,"
Keiko closed the door behind her and sat down in front of Kimaru, "I hear you haven't exactly been cooperating.” The room had 3 dark green walls. Kimaru sat at a steel table with his back to a flat wall, while Keiko sat across from him, her back to a corner.
He grinned, "Are all of the agents here only pretty ladies?"
Ignoring his comment she pulled up his information on the omnibook and displayed it on the table before him, "Seishi Kimaru, age 33, mutant type: human anatomy, abilities: invisibility?" she looked at him skeptically, "Why on Earth would you allow yourself to be caught if you have that kind of ability?"
Kimaru looked away, "I-"
Keiko chuckled, "Oh I see, you don't have control of it, is that it? You never honed your ability?"
He glared at her, "How can you-"
"How sad. You have abilities that would help you as a dealer, but you can't use them. What a shame," she smiled at him, "You'd made a pretty decent agent with an ability like that.”
His glare held, "I would watch what you say to me,"
She grinned, "Why? Are you gonna hide from me?"
"What about that other agent, 00? Where is she?" he turned his gaze from her suddenly.
Keiko clenched her fist, "She isn't here-"
"Well I'll tell you what Quick-tempered-agent. If you bring her, the agent that actually captured me, to this room in 15 minutes- I'll tell you everything. I'll tell you the other dealers, who their suppliers are, where the suppliers pick up their drugs- everything I know."
Her gaze narrowed, "Why should I believe you?"

He locked his eyes with hers, "Can you really risk this kind of information, agent?"
Keiko jumped to her feet and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her. Aku turned the corner, her eyes wide after hearing the news, "Are you going to call her?"
Keiko clenched her jaw, "She is on suspension, we need Red's orders," she opened her omnibook and hit Red's name to call him.
"Agent 013?"
"Kimaru says he will tell us everything if 00 is here in 15 minutes,"
They could hear a deep sigh in frustration, "We have no choice, call her in," he ended the call immediately and Aku pulled out her phone.
The Apartment
Arisa shot up from her bed as Keiko relayed the information, “He said he needed me?”
“Hurry up and change. Aku will be there in a moment,” it was clear that Keiko was annoyed with having to call her in but Arisa’s mind was already buzzing with hope. If she could really get all the information from Kimaru, she could end her suspension!
She stumbled over herself to the bathroom to shift herself into the right shape.
“Arisa!!!” she heard Aku from the living room no doubt having come through the shadowy corner behind the cactus, “Let’s go!”
Arisa ran into the living room panicked, “Where’s my spare uniform?!?!”
“In the wall safe as always-”
“It's not there!!!”
Aku sighed, “Then it's probably at MRPA. Forget it there's no time!”
Arisa looked down at her pink pajamas and fuzzy slippers and scoffed, “Let me just-”
Aku snatched her wrist and pulled her to the shadow, “There's no time!”
The MRPA Basement
Keiko was pacing in front of the shadow Aku has left from.
“Wait I need to-” Arisa fell silent as she realized she was already at her destination.
Keiko didn't have time to notice how ridiculous Arisa looked and pulled her to the interrogation room where Kimaru was, “Don’t be nervous. You can do this,” she held a firm gaze with Arisa who smiled as best she could before nodding.
Arisa opened the door and walked in trying her hardest to not think of how embarrassed she was. She knew that it would only take Keiko and Akumako 10 seconds to get to the other side of the one-way mirror, I can do this…

Kimaru smiled at her with that dark smile, “How nice of you to show up, Agent 00 that captured me,” his eyes were amused as they traced her pajamas up and down.
Arisa coughed and quickly sat at the table to hide her now shaking legs, “You said you would talk to me…”
Kimaru grinned once more, “Bite me, Agent,” he bit down hard onto his back molars.
Arisa heard a cracking sound like glass right before Kimaru fell on the table, his body was shaking and foam was coming from his mouth. Her world turned dark, what do I do? What do I do?! I can’t let him die! I have to save him, I need to save him!
Sector 1: STAM
“I hate late night drilling!” Ryu whined as the agents left the training room.
“They gotta make sure we are performing at our rank standards,” Kyou sighed while holding a towel around his neck.
“Weeeell since we have the rest of the night off...” Seiji grinned and nudged Shou and Ryu, “We could go out tonight, eh eh?” he wiggled his eyebrows excitedly.
Shou grinned, “I’m in! But you can’t start showing off your STAM badge again.”
Ryu rubbed the back of his neck, “I dunno guys...it’s a weekday-”
“Oh please Ryu we know you’re coming-” Seiji wrapped his arm around Ryu’s shoulders.
“Anyone else want to join?” Shou grinned.
Hiro rolled his eyes and walked silently past them.
Kyou shook his head, “I’ve got to submit reports tonight.”
Kenji looked at Kyou and then grinned at Shou, “I wish I could but I have tons of studying to do if I ever want to catch up.”
Seiji stuck out his tongue at them, “Suit yourselves~~~”
---
Hiro’s hands were deep in his pockets as he walked through the hall; there was a small, stinging headache forming in the back of his head. He had seen something today that brought back painful memories: Kyou and Arisa. He had been walking back from the library when he saw it: Kyou wrapped a jacket around Arisa- his own jacket. She blushed; he blushed. Hiro gripped down on his book. She was mine. He pushed the thought from his head trying desperately not to remember that story. In their first year she was his seat partner. She was warm to him, she smiled at him-he smiled back.
But she had fallen for Kyou- it was obvious and he didn’t even try to fight against it. For the most part he managed to ignore it, but today it hit him. He closed the door behind him as he entered his room. In the pitch darkness he let out a heavy sigh and let his head rest against the wall. Why Kyoushirou?
----
Kyou and Kenji walked in silence to their rooms; their doors closed only moments apart. Kyou emerged from his only a moment later with a tablet in his hands. He made his way down the grey hall and slowly Kenji’s door opened.
Kyou stepped into the elevator and when it closed Kenji ran for it- the top floor blinked, “Blue’s office?” Kenji felt himself say out loud in disbelief. He ripped open the stairwell door and flew up the flights of stairs oh dear leader what could you be doing at Blue’s office? No one is allowed to meet with Blue…
He cracked open the door slightly and saw Kyou walking down the empty floor to the only door on the level. Kyou ran his hand through his hair and sighed before waving his hand in front of the door lock and typing in the code. 210373…? Kenji strained to see how Kyou’s hand moved through the lock. There was a faint beep and the door opened. Kyou entered the dark room and the door locked behind him.
From his vantage point Kenji looked around and saw a camera. He closed the door to the hall and made his way down the stairs, Kyoushirou, kyoushirou….how are you meeting with Blue?
