Christmas came and went as you and Danny try to think up a plan on how to tell your family. Eventually, you two settled on saying something at the New Years Eve Party your parents were throwing which would have everyone there and you two thought it would be the perfect way to ring in the new year.

It was New Years Eve when you and Danny walked up to your parents' house. Your mom greeted you two and invited you two inside where you saw Danny's parents, Jazz and Danielle. Sam, Elliot, Tucker and Valerie weren't there yet but they were on their way as you and Danny started visiting with everyone. Finally, they showed up and the next few hours was filled with talking, laughter and eating.

You and Danny agreed to tell everyone about the news just before midnight. You were getting really excited and anxious as midnight was drawing closer and closer. You couldn't wait to tell everyone about the new addition to this already big family, but you were also scared on what everyone's reaction is going to be. You knew they would be excited but there was that small doubt in you that said they were going to hate the news and say things like you two are too young to have kids or it's too soon or some other stuff.

Danny, who had his arm around you, could feel you shaking and he looks down at you and sees the look on your face. "What's wrong?" He asked you, quietly. You look up at him and whispered. "Can I talk to you, privately?" Danny nods and the two of you walk up to the stairs and into your old room. Danny closes the door and turns to you.

"What's up?" He asked.

You take a deep breathe and said. "I know this sounds stupid but....I'm scared to break the news and they end up hating us."

"Why would you think that? You know that they love us." Danny said.

"I know, I guess it's just my own paranoia. I'm scared they are going to reject the baby. Plus, we don't know if the baby's going to be a normal human or have the same powers as us!" You exclaim as Danny walks up to you and places his hands on your shoulder.

"(Y/N), we will get through this. And I don't care if the baby's going to be human or have powers, as long as he or she is healthy that's fine with me." said Danny and you couldn't help but smile at this.

"Oh, Danny." You whispered as he leans in and kisses you.

"I also don't care if they don't like the news because you're my wife and this is my child." He said and he places his hands over your stomach. "And I'm going to take care of both of you." He said, smiling.

Tears formed in your eyes and you kiss him again and wrapped your arms around his neck. He wraps his arms around your waist as he pulls you closer to him.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the bedroom door, making both you and Danny jump at this. Danny walks over to the door and opens it to reveal his father. "Hey, son. Everything ok? I noticed you and (y/n) were walking up the stairs and I didn't know if something bad was happening or...." He said. Danny smiles and shakes his head. "Nothing's wrong, dad. Actually, we do have an announcement to make." He said as he looks down at you with a smile.

"Really?" Jack asked and both of you nod. "I'll get everyone ready!" He said and he goes down the stairs and shouted. "Hey, everyone! Danny and (y/n) have an announcement!" You and Danny chuckle and shake your heads then walk put of the room and head down the stairs, where you see everyone gathered around at the end of the stairs.

"Ok...so as Dad said we have an announcement to make to all of you." Danny said as you look up at the clock and saw that it was a few minutes from midnight. Everyone looks up at you two with a smile. Danny looks at you and both of you clear your throats.

"Recently, (y/n) and I found out about something and we like to share it with you guys." He said and both of you smile and said, together. "We're having a baby!"

Everyone gasped then your mom and Mrs Fenton start to squeal with delight while the others start to cheer. "Oh my gosh, congratulations!" Sam said as she walks up to you two and hugs you two. "Way to go, man." Elliot said to Danny as he slaps his shoulder. Danny chuckles as everyone comes up to you two and hugs the both of you.

"Oh my gosh, I'm going to be a grandmother!" Your mother exclaimed as Maddie nods.

"Congrats you two!" Tucker said as Valerie hugs you two.

Danielle screamed and jumped with joy at this as she runs over to hug you guys.

For awhile everyone kept congratulating the two of you on the little one when suddenly your dad looks over at the tv and sees Lance Thunder had appeared and was in New York next to the building that had the ball dropping. "Everybody the ball is about to drop!" Your dad exclaims and everyone gathered around the tv and grabbed a glass of soda or water.

"And the countdown begins..." Lance said and everyone in the room begins to count down:

Nine...

Eight...

Seven...

Six...

Five...

Four...

Three...

Two...

One...

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" Everyone screamed as they cloaked their glasswe together and cheered while you and Danny turned to each other and began to kiss each other. Once you two break the kiss, the two of you stare at each other in a loving way.

"I love you, (y/n)." said Danny.

"I love you, too, Danny." You said, smiling, and you lean up to kiss hin again.

"I think we should make a toast!" Jack said as he holds up his glass. You, Danny and the others look up at him as he exclaims. "To family!"

"To Family!" Everyone said as they raise their glass.

"And to Danny and (y/n)! I hope you two live long and happy lives together and may your child, my grandbaby, be a healthy one." Jack said as you and Danny smile and everyone raises their glasses.

"Thank you everyone! We appreciate that!" Danny replied as you nod in agreement. Everyone smiles and continues with the party.

It was about two or three o'clock in the morning when you and Danny made it back home and climbed into bed. As you start to lay down, Danny, who got in bed next to you, placed his left hand over your stomach while he leaned down to kiss you. "I love you, so much, (y/n) and I want to say thank you." He said.

"For what?" You asked as you placed your right hand on his cheek.

"For making me the happiest man in the world and in the Ghost Zone. For giving me a family." He replied and you smiled and kiss him.

"I love you too, Danny." You whispered.

Finally the two of you settled down and started to drift off to sleep.
