《Location; Aizawa x Reader》Chapter 97

Arlis groans in pain as she falls to her knees, completely out of breath. She holds her side, trying to stop the bleeding. She looks up, sighing when she sees more villains coming her way. She stands, wobbling as she tries to find her balance. "I take it you aren't here to provide medical assistance?" She mumbles.
"You've got a pretty high kill count," one man sighs.
"You come any closer and it's gonna be higher," she growls.
"Nice kitty... or are you a bird? Doesn't matter since you won't be alive for much longer," he smirks.
Before he can take another step, a red feather pierces his chest. Arlis stares as Keigo throws the man's body to the ground, his eyes wide and feral. His feathers shoot out, killing more of the men as he starts to fight. Blood splatters across his hero uniform as he cuts down body after body, not allowing anyone to go near her. The last man drops and Keigo rushes to Arlis, holding her close.
"What the hell were you thinking fighting in your condition?" He snaps.
"Are you always this moody?" She mumbles. He picks her up carefully, holding her close.
You and Aizawa run up, panting heavily. "Arlis!" You sigh relieved.
"Get her back to the medical tent. We are going after the kids," Aizawa says.
"Let me help," Arils mumbles.
You cup her cheek and shake your head. "You've helped enough," you whisper.
Keigo takes off into the air, flying back to the medical tents. You look at Aizawa and nod before the two of you sprint towards Shoto, Denki, Bakugou, and Izuku, hoping they were able to hold off Maltheal. Keigo lands at the medical tents, setting Arlis down on one of the beds. Noel quickly rushes to her, healing her open wound.
"She needs to detox the poison in her system," Noel says as she hooks Arlis up to an IV. Keigo stares down at her and holds her hand tightly. "Call me when she wakes up," Noel says.

Keigo nods and Noel runs off to the next person in need. "You can't put yourself in danger like that Ari..." he mumbles. He looks down and takes a deep breath. "You can't do that because I'm in love with you... and I can't lose any more people. You need to stay alive. I know it hurts. I know you're in pain... but I want to try to remedy it. I want to be there for you when there is no light in your world. I want to take you above the clouds every single day because you deserve the sun. Please... please don't leave me," he whispers. He kisses her forehead and walks out of the tent to assist with first aid. Arlis opens her eyes, tears running down her cheeks.

"There you are!" Momo shouts as Jirou and Kirishima run up, holding Eri. "Where is everyone else?" She asks.
"We got caught up with some bad guys and Hitoshi had us keep moving. Iida stopped to help citizens escape." Kirishima says.
"We were able to contact Iida and Hitoshi. They both got out safe," Jirou says.
"Is everyone else here?" Kirishima asks, looking around.
"Now that we know those two are safe, we are just missing four..." Momo says softly.
"They haven't contacted you?" Kiri asks softly.
"The last contact we had, we told them that we lost a few people. Some students from 3-A, and two pros," Momo says.
Jirou holds Eri closer. "Anyone else?" She asks softly.
"No, at least, not that we know of," Momo says.
"Come on. We need to keep moving. We can't stop till we get the signal," Kirishima says. Momo nods and the rest of the class grabs their things. "The students..." Kirishima says.
"Friends of the big three. They were injured while evacuating some citizens... they didn't make it," Momo whispers.
Kirishima nods. "Anything about FatGum?" He asks softly.
"I'm sure he's ok," Momo says reassuringly. He nods and they keep walking.

"Tokoyami, what did you want to tell me?" Tsuyu asks.
"Oh... ummm... well..." he mumbles.
"Oh my god, it's happening," Jirou whispers.
"Denki is going to be pissed he missed it," Ojiro mumbles.
"I... well, now isn't a good time," Tokoyami says nervously.
"You saved my life. Now is a great time," Tsuyu says.
"Well... Sue...I..." he looks down and takes a deep breath. "I'm rather... fond of you," he says shyly.
"I know," she nods.
"What? What do you mean you know?" He says, his eyes widening.
"Shoto told me four months ago. He said it was obvious," she shrugs. She looks at him and smiles. "I like you too," she says sweetly.
"Oh! Well then, I suppose that's... ummm..." he looks around nervously. Dark Shadow pops out, a soft smile on his shadow. "You should be our girlfriend!" He caws.
"Okay!" Tsuyu giggles.
"Maybe it's a good thing Denki isn't here," Sero says.
"Why?" Jirou asks.
"He would have made a really horrible wingman joke and it would have ruined the moment," Sero snickers.
"I can do one," Kirishima shrugs.
"No. Please don't," Jirou sighs.
"We'll save it for Denki," Sero smiles, trying to hide his worry.
They keep walking to the next checkpoint, each of them on high alert for any villains. They reach the edge of the city and stop at an abandoned farm. "This looks like a good place to rest," Sero sighs, setting his things down.
"Everyone drink some water and eat something," Momo says. They sit close together, keeping Eri in the middle. Kiri drapes a blanket over her as she lays her head on Jirou's lap, closing her eyes.
"She hasn't said a word since Hitoshi left," Jirou whispers.
"She's probably worried..." Kirishima shrugs.
"We all are," Sero says.
"Do you think things will be different?" Momo asks.
"What do you mean?" Jirou says.
Momo looks around and shrugs. "We're kids. This was never the plan. We wanted to become heroes, but not like this," she says softly.
"It's not ideal... but it's realistic," Sero says sadly.
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"Well, kids go through war all the time in other countries. They hide, run and if they have to, they fight. I know we shouldn't have to... but bad guys don't care about how old or young you are," he says.
"He's right. Look at Eri. She's the youngest and the one who is in the most danger," Jirou says.
"We didn't sign up to become soldiers when we accepted our letters from U.A., but we did agree to become heroes. We agreed to stand up to injustice and to evil. We agreed to help people, to be kind, and to always do the right thing, even when it's hard. We are the next generation of pros. If we don't stand up now... there won't be anything left for us to protect," Kirishima says.
"I know it's not fair. I know it isn't right. And I know every single pro did not like the idea of us joining in the fight... but when it comes down to it, we are fighting for our lives too, not just the lives of the people we want to protect," Sero says.
Momo nods and takes a deep breath. "I just don't want to lose any of my friends before we can become pros. It won't be the same..." she says softly.
"You won't. If we all stick together, we will win. It's like Mr. Aizawa always says," Kirishima smiles.
"Shut up you're being too damn loud?" Momo asks.
"No! He says when bad things happen, good people come together to stop them. When we come together, we help keep each other safe," Sero smiles.
Momo smiles and nods. "Yeah..." she says.
"Don't worry. We will all be back at U.A. soon," Jirou smiles.
"I hope so," Momo says.

Of Gods and Dungeons
March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.
