Aizawa felt like he couldn't breathe as he ran into the hospital with Koa. They had captured the Villian that was in charge of the attack. Another one of Stain's followers.
Aizawa scanned the room and saw bright red wings hiding in the corner. He ran up and turned Hawks around. "Is...is she.." His voice cracks.
"She has a lot of internal damage. She is in surgery right now...they...they don't know if she is going to make it" Hawks says softly.
Koa stares at Hawks and he shakes his head. "No...no she...she has to be ok...right? She will be ok right?" Koa says panicked. He sits down and holds his head.
"What's her chance of survival?" Aizawa asks softly.
Hawks pulls him away from Koa. "Right now...about twenty percent...it's not looking good...if she does live...she won't be able to do vigilante work for a while...maybe even ever again. Doc said a lot of her internal shit is messed up," Hawks says softly. Aizawa clenches his fists. "Shota...what happened at the festival...if I knew she was Mind and you two were a thing..." Hawks whispers.
"It's fine...don't worry about it...thanks for getting her so fast Hawks..." Aizawa says softly.
He walks over and sits next to Koa. He rubs his back softly. "She will pull through...I know she will..." Aizawa says softly. He wasn't sure if he was trying to convince himself or Koa.
Shoto runs into the hospital."Where is she? Is she ok?" He asks.
"What are you doing here?" Aizawa grumbles.
"She saved my life...Please...I need to know she..." he looks down. He shuts his eyes tightly and clenches his fists. Aizawa grabs him and hugs him.

"Shoto it wasn't your fault...she did what any hero would have...she had your back. That's all," Aizawa says softly.
"My father said that if I was faster..." Shoto chokes on a sob.
"Endeavor is not in a place to talk about speed. If he got there first, Vlad wouldn't have gotten hurt and you kids wouldn't have had to step in for fucking pros." Aizawa snaps. He looks at Shoto and sighs. "I promise...you did everything right Shoto," Aizawa says. Shoto nods a little.
"Mr. Aizawa!" Shinso says running into the hospital.
"Shinso!" Koa looks up.
"What happened!? Is your sister ok?!" Shinso asks worriedly.
"We don't know yet..." Koa says softly.
Shinso sits next to him and sighs. They all sit and wait, hoping that you can pull through.
Hours pass. They sit in silence, waiting.
A doctor walks up and sighs. Aizawa stands and they all quickly join him. "Umm...who is her family?" The doctor asks.
"Technically just me..." Koa says.
The doctor nods. "We are still working on her...but..." the doctor looks at Koa.
"What?!" He says angrily.
"She...she has flat-lined four times now. We are trying to keep her stable but we are struggling...she has a lot of damage done to her and...we can't save all the organs and tissue that has been damaged." The doctor says. Aizawa feels sick.
"What does that mean?" Koa says.
"We will try to do what we can...but we aren't sure if anything is going to work...if we keep operating...we could kill her...and there won't be any way to bring her back..." the doctor says. Koa's face goes pale.
"She took heavy damage to her reproductive system. At this moment, she is no longer able to have children...if we continue, most of her digestive system will be gone as well...she has also lost a kidney..." the doctor says.

Koa feels his body shaking. "Don't let my sister die...please..." Koa sobs.
"We will do what we can..." the doctor nods and he walks away.
Koa turns and looks at all of them. "She...she always wanted to be a mom...she...she was gonna be a great mom...she...she...." Koa starts to sob and Aizawa quickly hugs him.
"She's gonna be ok...it's ok..." Aizawa says softly.
Shinso leans over and whispers to Shoto. Shoto's eyes widen and they get up and run out of the hospital.
"Hey!" Hawks shouts.
"Let them go..." Aizawa says.

Points of Light - An Oral History of the Collapse
Humanity endures. The phrase is not only an informal slogan of the reformed United Nations, but a rallying cry the world over. Even in the face of extermination, we struggled, we fought, and we endured. But just how close did we actually come? In our darkest hour, how many steps separated our species from oblivion? And are we even safe now? Were the mistakes made by earlier generations really so obvious? Or are they only so blatent when we look back with the advantage of hindsight? If so, what horrors might be staring us in the face even now that no one has the foresight to prevent? Drawn from thousands of interviews, as well as uncorrupted contemporary recordings and source documentation dating back to the early 2000s; Points of Light is a definative look at the last half century of upheaval, prosperity and carnage. It tells the tale of what happened, how it happened, who was responsible and most importantly, what we might be able to do to prevent it from happening again. This is a rewrite of a previously started fiction under a pen-name. Chapters will be updated every two days at 6:00 EST.
