There was a map

in his eyes

and it led to his heart

where I wanted to stay

but in a labyrinth I found

and I couldn't get out

for I saw all of his hurt

I stepped on wounds

and thorns

unsaid words

and I cut myself

with the broken promises

I cried

thunderous rain

until I found my way out

was then I decided to stay.
