I just wanted to clarify some things about the characters. I'll have a real chapter done in a couple of days.

Hobbies: running scams by selling random pieces of rock to students on campus and claiming they're meteorites.

Hobbies: being edgy, pretending not to be a good student when he actually is
Dislikes: everything (for now)

Hobbies: terrifying freshmen during their school tour, abusing her power as student president
Dislikes: anyone who dares to cross her
Favorite food: only the finest gourmet meals!

TLDR - RWBY esque modern xianxia (everything is original to the best of my knowledge, but you can probably see where I drew my inspiration) 20 years ago, monsters manifested from negative emotions emerged and brought the world to its knees. Follow the journey of Ed as he strives to become stronger to avenge his brother who sacraficed himself. Note: First time writer, i have about 16k words written already. I will use the first 10 or so chapters as a guage to see how well I am doing. I am open to all feedback and will continue writing if people like it. I have another 10 or so chapters planned already. Soul Core Online was a game that few people were interested in until after it was released, due to its odd way of handling character growth but this soon changed as people started to realise just how different this game was. Unlike many of its predecessors the NPCs in Soul Core Online acted in a way that was indistinguishable from real people and the world felt alive because of this instead of the empty and sterile cities we had come to expect, even walking down the street could give you insights to how these people lived. In my case this was the world that I had always wanted to visit and I soon found myself embroiled in the constantly changing world that is Soul Core Online.
