I published the first part of Fallon and Candace's story. It's called "Rather Tempting" and I'm excited to share it with all of you.

I began differently than I expected but I like this beginning more. There's some more coming though.

It took her a second to notice that there was someone sitting in one of the chairs across the room. They were slouched over and were cradling their head in their palms.

She recognized that it was Fallon. He looked distraught and distracted, and even though she wanted to ask what was going on, she knew it was none of her business.

She had just turned around when he lifted his head and caught sight of her. His expression was haunting before he managed to clear it out. It made the urge to comfort strong but that wasn't her job, she couldn't add on someone else's problems to hers.

"Mrs. Reed, are you spying on me?" He asked her, standing to his feet. She hadn't even realized he knew she was there.

"And why would I be doing that?"

"I might have an idea." He walked towards her with a purpose but she refused to step back. She wasn't afraid of him and she was immune to him. At least now she was sure she was.
