《Saving Wisdom and Wizards || PJO x HP Crossover》Chapter 20: Annabeth

~~~
Percy's throat closed up. His chest tightened. He felt like crying. Percy would've sworn to the gods that he heard her voice. Annabeth's voice.
Maybe he's finally lost it. Percy knew it was a matter of time before he did.
~~~
Annabeth watched through the vision as Percy walked away, wiping vigorously at his cheeks.
"Percy!" Annabeth screamed in desperation, knowing full well that he wouldn't be able to hear her. She yanked at the chains attaching her ankles to the stone floor.
"Why waste your strength?"
Annabeth turned her head and glowered at Voldemort. She didn't bother wiping the tears off her face.
"You're a monster."
Voldemort cackled, causing Annabeth too shiver. She's faced titans and giants and somehow, somehow, this thing scared her more.
"I frighten you?"
Annabeth glared harder. "Get. Out. Of. My. Head."
Voldemort only chuckled in response. "For a daughter of Athena, you aren't very wise, are you?"
Annabeth restrained the urge to punch him in his snake face. She knew he was trying to get under her skin. Annabeth hated the fact that it was working.
"Then again," Voldemort stood up from his "throne" and walked over to Annabeth in the center of the room. "You are wise enough not to tell me of Perseus' heritage."
Annabeth shuddered. The thought of him knowing who Percy's godly parent was made her want to throw up. It was bad enough Voldemort's been baiting Percy in his dreams.
"Percy won't fall for it. He's smarter and stronger than you. He'll see the trap coming from miles away." Annabeth said. Like Hades she was going to let her Seaweed Brain fall for Voldemort's mind games.
"If only that were true, Ms. Chase." Annabeth glared at the dark wizard. "Perseus may be smart, but he is too loyal for his own good. After this evening, he'll be questioning every dream, every decision, every thought that's pertained to you."

Voldemort slowly walked around Annabeth. Annabeth persisted in trying to free her tied hands from behind her back.
"We both know how this will end, Annabeth." Voldemort paused, and bent down to Annabeth's level on the floor. "Perseus will come to rescue you, and then I will turn him to my side. Together we will be unstoppable; Harry Potter will be no match for us both."
"Percy would rather die than join you." Annabeth spat.
"You say that as if he'll have a choice." Voldemort stood up and walked back to his throne. "It's only a matter of time, Ms. Chase, before Perseus realizes the true weight of the prophecy."
Annabeth reluctantly looked up at Voldemort. "What prophecy?"
Voldemort's face contorted into a disturbing smile. "Ah, my dear, you haven't heard it?"
"Two half-bloods shall reunite them all,
Into realm of darkness one will fall.
To bring back from the myth and pain,
One will lose what the other will gain." Voldemort recited.
Annabeth sat, her mind reeling through the potential meanings of the prophecy.
"The prophecy says that Perseus Jackson and Harry Potter will reunite my followers, and restore me to power. Perseus will fall into my realm, and I will rise to my full potential and win this war."
Annabeth stared in disbelief at Voldemort. That wasn't possible. Percy would never betray his friends and family. Especially not for something as cruel as Voldemort. Annabeth's mind raced for other meanings. Prophecies always had double meanings.
She would figure it out. Annabeth will warn Percy the second she figures it out. She didn't know how, especially since Voldemort kept an eye on her like a hawk, but she would.
Annabeth's faced harder situations than being help captive by an evil wizard.

I Need Time
An action, adventure, mystery and strategy story about a strong male lead. Author note: First time author, good amount of buffer chapters (over 50k words) so I will not drop this book anytime soon. This book will mostly be from the perspective of the MC. On average +5k words will be published per week. I have not chosen some of the genres and tags as I do not wish to give away parts of the story. I added the content warning tags as there will come a time for profanities, gore and maybe "traumatising" content. Though, in my opinion the content will be mild if not light. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER***** Synopsis: A college ICT student transmigrates to another world filled with magic and learns magic from a dragon. MC uses modern knowledge to develop magitech technology. MC starts his adventure using the technology he develops! Saving princesses, fighting hidden criminal organizations, learning how horribly medieval peasants live, reasoning with uneducated narrow minded people, investigating the nature of magic and searching for gods... Story review: A fantasy/sci-fi story filled with some common cliches yet presents somewhat original ideas and a few unexpected twists & turns here and there. This novel also explores a few of the commonly ignored topics concerning medieval fantasy like hygiene, culture, education(ignorance, narrow mindedness) and the fact that everybody is short because magical crops cost too much. Modern knowledge in such a setting can often times revolutionize the world if the protagonist is not an idiot or weak willed or thinks something stupid like he should not intervene in a society that systematically practices unequality of opportunity, slavery and other nasty things, of course sometimes the protagonist can be just unlucky by being enslaved, etc. In our case we are granted a protagonist who had an initial stroke of luck, learning magic from a dragon instead of struggling for years without it or randomly dieing. After that his luck goes down the drain. It is arguable whether the princess is a good stroke of luck or not, I digress. Anyway the challenges the protagonist must face will grow and no more luck or helping hands. After gaining enough power and security the protagonist will change the world for the better or at least give it a stronge push onto the right track. He will make a lot of lives better but things are never so simple and there is much more to this world than meets the eye... Missing genres & tags: Fantasy, Sci-fi, Magic. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER*****

Dauntless: Origins
Snow white hair, blue eyes, pale. Devil, monster, mutt, failure.This story follows one Tyr Faeron, crown prince, heir primus and mass murderer. A wrathful, angry, and lost young man that has made it his goal to hunt down the men that killed his mother - and he is on the cusp of finishing the promise he'd made before her cairn stones so many years ago. On the surface he is duplicitous, whimsical, and base of cunning - but within the depths beyond the many masks he wears, something is waiting. Waiting for an end, the end he'd come to long for, whether it be to himself or any possible threats in his vicinity. After that long labor of vengeance is completed... Nobody knows, not even him - an arrogant and otherwise solitary individual with nothing in the way of friends - only the brothers of the blackguard who follow him through life as he pursues this mission. He was born a prince, but he'd be called a disappointment - failing to manifest the great power that he was born to before being summarily discarded by his father, a 250 year old 'primus'. That word again... Men who can shatter mountains and level cities, that's what he was supposed to be. Some call them demi-gods, all Tyr sees is a poor excuse for a parent. Time had made him bitter, cruel, and arguably psychotic - seeing only enemies wherever he looks. They'd come for him, too, one day - to wipe the slate clean and make room for another - and it's his conviction to ensure that he dies while taking as many of those rats with him. This is a story about finding acceptance, growth, and understanding - from the point of view of a cold and brutal individual who wears many masks. Of someone who was born to be the greatest emperor the eastern continent has ever seen - but he failed in that. Strong, yes, but only in the context of a man - Tyr's magic is weak. His convictions are weak. He has been made a beast of instinct by loss and a constant confronting of his own impotency in the face of his father. A mythos that stretches across planes, of magic, a pantheon of cruel gods. Of someone who's dedicated his entire mind to the art of killing a man, and none to living a normal childhood or coming to understand friendship, empathy, or compassion. The first five years of his life a mystery, a hole none have ever been willing to fill, leaving him warped and twisted. His formative years gone and what must've been most of his humanity along with it. Now 17, he is on the cusp of leaving the city he'd never been permitted to leave for what might be the first time in his life. Always searching, though he won't know what for, for some time. An episodic that follows experience and symbolism rather than a never ending series of battles - where the conflict lay in constantly searching for wholeness in lieu of great villains or heroes. This is where it all started, the origin, the tale told a million times - and yet it hadn't been, 'reality' is tricky like that. The greatest lie ever told by the tongue that speaks is that any of this was real at all.
